Seemed like there were enough waitstaff, but still took forever to take our order & bring out drinks. Food dribbled out of the kitchen with the 4th order coming out several minutes after others. Definitely no sense of urgency at this place. Lots of tvs (helped a little with the waiting). Two omelettes, one breakfast burrito, one pancake combo w/two sodas, one smoothie & one water was over $100!! I typically like IHop, but this location will not be re-visited. UNDERWHELMING PANCAKES... honestly Banning's Denny's blows this location away. I came in to try the Pumpkin Spice pancakes and they could've been much more flavorful. I DID enjoy my omelette, the roasted veggies tasted great! However, the subpar service and weirdo waitress wouldn't encourage me to return anytime soon. How hard is it to refill my drink? This IHOP isn't dreadful but it's certainly a huge step down from the other IHOPs I've visited recently. The staff seem unhappy with their job and it shows. First of all, this location is very expensive! More so than any of the other franchises! Almost double! My server was horrible,as though she did not want to be there, my coffee was served in a dirty pot! And the rest of our party was totally ignored for at least 20min,before she even acknowledged them! Had Uber deliver chicken fried steak breakfast with pancakes no pancakes also ordered eggs Benedict, which are two eggs on a muffin. There was one egg and one egg was cut in half and both are to the point of almost being boiled called Uber and told them what happened. They said they'd have to think about that. A bit of an adventure to find the front door. Parking in back. Door to your right. Most people were walking all around to find the door. Food was delicious! " Breakfast Was Cooked Perfectly " My wife and I went to the IHOP Restaurant in Banning, CA to have breakfast. After we were seated at our table, we were nicely greeted by the waitress Lajoy H. "Joy" as she like's to be called, had a Fantastic, Professional, Fun, and great "Bubbly" personality. Joy answered all of our questions and told us that the IHOP had a 55+ Menu which we were excited to see. My wife ordered the " 55+2X2X2" breakfast which was, Two buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs* your way & 2 bacon strips or 2 pork sausage links. I wanted to try everything so I ordered the "55+Breakfast Sampler" which had One egg* your way, 1 bacon strip, 1 pork sausage link, 1 thick-cut piece of ham, hash browns & 1 buttermilk pancake. We told Joy that we wanted our eggs over medium and everything else we wanted crispy. When the two breakfast meals came to our table, I was blown away how perfectly cooked they were. You hardly ever see that happen in restaurants, even when you ask it to happen. The Pancake was very large and fully, and delicious. The Bacon, Sausage, and Ham were crispy and so tasty. The egg was cook perfect, and the Hash Browns were so crispy and tasty. Joy came back to our table many times to make sure everything we had was good. This was one of the most Perfectly Cooked and Tastiest breakfast we have ever had. And with Joy's "Bubbly Personality", it made our morning breakfast Fantastic ! Food was pretty nasty, but I'll come back to that in a minute. Came to this IHOP pre pandemic about once a week for breakfast for several years and was alway good. First thing I noticed this morning when we pulled into the parking lot was trash. Nothing screams classy restaurant like beer cans and trash in the parking lot. Was trash in the bushes in front of the main entrance as well. The homeless dude resting up against the west side of the building was a treat as well as the man in the south parking area hitting up people for cash. Neat! Ordered an omelette with pancakes instead of toast. When the food arrived the butter on the pancakes was hard as a rock and the pancakes were cold. The inside of my omelette was cold as well and not fully cooked. IHOP apparently changed that particular omelette plate because I used to order it and it came with hash browns. Not any longer. 15 bucks for a cold omelette and cold pancakes. I asked for the strawberry syrup. Nope, it's on back order. I told the waitress the food wasn't good and in fact nasty. She said "sorry it must be because of the new cook." No offer to get something else or deduct the pancakes I didn't eat. Piss poor service, nasty ass disgusting food and a dirty parking lot. I let it go thinking she would come back and ask me how everything was... she did not and in case you're thinking she was busy she was not there were four other tables and she had me and another couple. The check came and I was wondering if she had even put my request on the ticket. She did, so not only did the cook miss it but so did she but she missed it twice... Stopped by after a Dance competition for a quick bite to eat. Restaurant was empty, so we were seated right away. Waitress took our order and was very nice. When our food came the mashed potatoes were pretty bad, powdery and cold. We asked if they could just get us fries, she walked back and screamed to the cook to get an order of fries and told him "They didn't like the potatoes, they say it tasted bad!!" I have been here before and I can tell you that things have changed quite a bit. Ofelia, our server was amazing. Right on top of things, attentive, courteous, efficient and smiley. Oscar, the manager came by to help out and we noticed that he was around helping his employees. The busboy was fast at cleaning the tables and very nice.
