Every so often, in the course of our travels, my wife and I stumble across places that otherwise we wouldn't notice. Such was the case last year with Sunset Market. My wife was hungry and I wanted an energy drink so we said "Why not?" This place was great and my wife loved the handmade turkey sandwich they made her so we just stopped in again on our way to the Stagecoach Festival. We both got the same exact thing and what was really nice was that Sarah, who was at the front remembered my wife and her order. How cool is that? One year later. If you are on your way to Palm Springs or even going further, skip Subway and stop in here. The place is a great little find. read more

Sunset liquor my go to! If I need snacks, candy, soda, or (usually) beer (lol) This is my favorite for sure. Always the best selection. Everyone who works here is super nice and they all make super personal connections. Specifically Lara is hella sweet and she always asks about my day. Anything and everything you could want, it is a deli/market/liquor store; they even have pet food! Plus, the owners are so extremely nice, if you frequent you will notice them and they are always kind and courteous. I go here at least twice weekly for the Lotto because they are one of CaLottery's lucky retailers so i hope to hit it big here ;P Also, they have all the up to date scratchers as well so go here for your gambling needs ;P There is like major construction getting off the 10 freeway right here on Sunset so just take it easy, the store is just past the Chevron and the first street light; in the same lot as Dominoes and Mothers Nutrition and a donut shop ;P read more

The only reason I go to this liquor store is because of the short lady behind the counter! She has always been friendly, helpful, and kind whenever I've gone in to make my weekly liquor purchases. She seems to be the only one who cares about the customers and goes out of her everytime I'm there to be helpful! She is awesome! read more

Ok, I've been here for 10 years and this Market was awesome because of the owners, but now! The owners sold it and the New owner made the Market visually 100 times better!!!! Giving this review for my husband who was working in the area recently. He said the sandwiches are great and reasonably priced. He watched the guy cut fresh meat for the people ahead of him. He got a veggie sandwich and said it was fresh and delicious, included fresh cut avocados. The service was also friendly. He got some of the potato salad (also delicious) and they threw in an extra container of it for him that he didn't realize until he got back to the hotel. read more
