This is the third donut delight I vistited around the area and it has the most confusing parking lot. The parked cars go in the center and the driveway goes around the parking area. For some reason this location doesn't feel as cozy to me. Came here because the Waze app showed me this was the least detour from my destination. There was no line. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a buttered croissant and an iced caramel latte. My sandwich was done fast. The food tasted good and fresh. read more

I love this location because theres a drive thru and service is fast. If you go in the store though they are a bit limited in parking. I always get the tuna salad toasted on a seasame bagel with peppers and lettuce for a small upcharge. Tuna salad is basic but they do basic really well, tastes fresh and seasoned perfectly read more

Donut Delight has been one of my favorite discoveries since moving to CT. It's definitely a tier above Dunkin in terms of flavor and offerings. The Summer St location is most accessible to me, and the drive-thru service has always been quick, consistent, and friendly. I've gotten their iced caramel latte with oat milk and glazed blueberry donut, both of which are my consistent go-to's. Recently, I heard that their tuna salad sandwich was worth a try; I was skeptical at first, but man, I was so wrong. I've gone several times at this point and I enjoy their iced coffee, their donuts are fresh, and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Chorizo is a welcome breakfast meat, and different than all the typical bacon or sausages you see elsewhere. They get a gold star in my book for taking $0.30 off my order since I do not like eggs! Chorizo and cheese on a croissant is all you need :-) Every time I have gone I've received my order super quickly even via the drive-thru. I go here every morning to get a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, and a large hot coffee. I always leave a $4 tip, and somehow they still manage to mess up my order. They give me old, stale, hard as a rock bread, hardly any bacon, and the tiny hockey puck egg has no taste at all. The coffee definitely does not taste freshly made. This is the last time I order from here, terrible food and service, would not recommend to anyone. read more

Also, whomever is running their drive thru could teach Dunkin and any other drive thru location a thing or two. I've never experienced such consistently efficient drive thru service. Located across the street from the Holiday Inn Express/Crowne Plaza hotel. For some reason this HIE does not have complementary coffee all day. It took forever to get the hot chocolate. But coffee was fast. There were 2 or 3 tables inside. Seems to do a huge drive thru business. What I liked the most was the donut display. Off day for Donut Delight... Not enforcing masks and they were using both cashiers eventhough they are 2 feet apart. Coffee wrong twice in a row. BEC wasnt cut in half (pet peeve complaint). Management, please enforce that it things get busy you need to reinforce the rules for customers. I watched a nurse come in a and then leave and I am pretty sure it was because two other customers had their masks down. We dont need to turn into Texas for the sake of bargain bagels. I went with a caramel iced coffee, a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll, and a chocolate donut with sprinkles. This is the perfect stop before school or work. The lines may seem long, but they move quickly, and it's definitely worth the wait! The employees are also always to friendly. read more

Normally love going to this location but lately the drive thru staff is just disappointing. Went there yesterday repeated my order 3 times, 2 glazed donuts and 2 chocolate donuts and the girl kept repeating 1 cruller, one medium coffee smoothie and a bottle of coke. When I went to pay, received 2 chocolate donuts, a bottle of coke and was told it was $10.62. I was waiting for the rest of my order and was told they didn't charge me for it and proceeded to run my card again. When I told the girl I repeated my order 3 times she walked away and had someone else help me. I was finally given the 2 glazed donuts but a SMALL coffee smoothie. I asked for a receipt was not given an itemized one. Very unprofessional staff in the afternoon. read more

This is the best DD in town. I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone is super helpful, quick to attend, super friendly, and make you feel welcome. They have 2 drive through windows so you never wait too long in line. You can tell they emphasize cleanliness as they always have someone picking up and making sure everything is spotless. Also it is so spacious, plenty of places to sit and eat. I've been to all the Donut Delight and I can't recommend this one enough. I've been a Donut Delight customer at this location since they opened. I don't know if the staff changed or the employees just hate their jobs. No one knows how to make a simple Hot Latte or Coffee with just cream. I've ordered both drinks the past 3 times with the 3rd being the last due to cold coffee with little to no cream, & cold latte with no foam. If you're an avid hot coffee or hot latte drinker, I'd suggest you find a different location as the staff here clearly needs additional training. I ordered in the drive-up and had to repeat my order three times. My mistake was not checking my order before I pulled away. The whole order was wrong even though I clearly stated what I wanted. I called and a lady answered who claimed "she was in charge" and she was rude on the phone, not very understanding, and not helpful. I will not be going back because of this terrible experience. Worst DD in Stamford! They mess up your order and act like it's your fault! I ordered to coffee's and 2 sandwiches, I get all the way home to realize I only have 1 sandwich and they never gave me a receipt! I should have checked my food before I pulled off! I go back literally 5 mins later nobody remembers me. I tell them I have one sandwich and no receipt! They tell me the cashier always gives a receipt which she didn't! They get a manger who acts like she was doing me a favor by making me the sandwich they forgot! Hop to a couple months later! I go get a coffee, and ask for a med almond coffee light and sweet! After I pull off I notice it's not what I ordered! Once again I have to turn around supposedly they mixed up almond milk with almond coffee!
