    Smasherrito burrito was next level!!

The service was excellent and the food was AMAZING!! What a gastro adventure! Everything was fresh and homemade. The milkshake was decadent and delicious! It was totally worth the ride to try this diner and I want to go back!

We drove 1.5 hours to try this place because it has been so hyped up. We figured we would give it a go because we were visiting relatively close. The spectacle of the Influencer meals were fun. If you are within 30 minutes of the diner the spectacle alone would be worth stopping by. I had the Spicy Vodka Parm Sandwich and my husband had the Chicken Alfredo Parm Sandwich. They were both fine. The sauces were a bit on the bland side. They were served with a side of waffle fries and the waffle fries were better than the sandwiches. We also got the Oreo Dream French Toast. It was huge and there was so much sugar anfetamínica candy on it. Again, the spectacle was fun but the dish itself was just like eating spoonfuls of sugar. There was no other predominant flavor to it. I would not recommend driving more than 30 minutes and the flavors are not worth breaking your diet for! It was fun to see all the crazy concoctions and stacked milkshakes (think donuts, cupcakes, slices of cake, etc.) stacked like the Willy Wonka version of a Bloody Mary.

Our family had a wonderful time at Elm Street Diner! The food was absolutely delicious, and our kids were so happy with everything they ordered. Though the line was long, it was worth the wait--the upbeat music and friendly energy kept us engaged. The host was attentive, seating guests efficiently and ensuring quick table turnovers, averaging just over a minute. Service was excellent; coffee refills came right on time. Highly recommend this spot for families and friends.

I thought this place would be great for my girlfriend and I. When we walked in we were met with 6 people standing and talking - workers, staring us down as we walked in. Not any greeting, it felt as though we were not supposed to be walking into the establishment whatsoever. When we were seated we ran into lots of issues with our server, she spoke little to no English and things were very hard to get across. Now food. I am a chef and this place was disappointing. My egg on the bacon egg and cheese was overcooked, the bacon was dry, and cheese was hardly melted. They brought plain pancakes when we ordered chocolate chip pancakes. And completely forgot the yogurt my girlfriend ordered. For atmosphere things were weird. Every person was Mexican working - 0 diversity. While we were eating there were 11 workers taking up the dining room area, at the bar stools, on their phones, walking around chatting, drinking drinks, and yet no one helping us. This place is on its last legs, don't come.

Fine food, but honestly overhyped. My girlfriend and I were really excited to try this place and it wasn't bad, but wasn't the best food. We ordered the big macc eggrolls as our appetizer and while they were good, all we were tasting was meat and cheese, nothing else. I got the loaded fajita omelet with chorizo and it was good, just tasted like any other omelet. My girlfriend opted for the buffalo chicken mac and cheese wrap and was very underwhelmed. It came with the buffalo ranch syringe and LOOKED so epic, but lacked in flavor and was rather bland, could have been so much better with cheesier mac and cheese and more buffalo sauce. I'd go back to try the shakes and desserts they're known for but I'd skip brunch next time.

Such a great place to grab breakfast! Delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend. It's also family friendly and they can accommodate big groups. This place is always a go to. They also have some fun desserts for those that have a sweet tooth. Things to keep in mind, if you go on a weekend make sure to account for the wait. This place is very popular. Luckily we went on a Monday and were seated quickly.

You know, when you see places blow up on social media you're a little skeptical. Normally the aesthetics are great but the food is eh. Not here though! The food was so instagram worthy & DELICIOUS! Plus the portions are hugeee. Everything my friends and I got, we loved. We came here on a Saturday night around 7pm and did not have to wait for a table. Service was kind of slow, but the restaurant was busy so it was expected. We got the double stack big mac quesadilla, buffalo chicken curly fries, and strawberry cheesecake french toast. My personal fav was the quesadilla and strawberry cheesecake french toast! They were both super delicious and filling. We went home with so many leftovers. Such a good deal for the price and how much food you get. They have all these outrageous foods, especially their dessert. A great place to bring your kids for a birthday party!

Been here 3 times now and waited to review. EACH time was PERFECT. And just so incredibly amazing. It has yet to fail me. It is a 2 hour drive in each direction and I would do it even again for a fourth time. SO WORTH EVERY AND ALL HYPE. GO!!!! GO!!! GO!!!! The food is amazing and unique, portions are more generous than the Cheesecake Factory, not Too crazily priced for what you're getting and let's be real... this is an EXPERIENCE. So it is WORTH IT !!!! I didn't have to wait to be seated any of the times I went, walked right in and sat down. Went around 11/12 all times. Love you guys. 10/10 would recommend, will be back again!!!

I was really impressed with this place for being a "instagram" diner that leans into the viral food trend. It was Friday morning, so we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. Their menu is huge and quite a few dishes sounded good. I went with the breakfast panini which was delicious. I had a basic iced coffee and wish they'd had some other coffee options. Everything is a little pricey, but service was quick and friendly.

It was such a good experience. Food was delicious. A lot of unique items here. I got the viral cake shake for $25. It was just incredible. I also saw someone who ordered the waffle tower. That was truly incredible. Service was decent and the diner is very modern and clean compared to what you'd expect. It's slightly more pricy than other diners though, but worth it.

Pretty cool & interesting menu items. Come hungry, plates are large. Only downside is no beer/alcohol for brunch/lunch time.

Finally got a chance to visit Elm Street Dinet today. We came around noon. Got seated right away. It had such a nice diner atmosphere with plenty of booth seatings. The service was friendly. The menu was extensive and we had such a hard time deciding. I wanted to have a milk shake at some point but the portion sizes were large so I resolved to cone back and get the milk shake on another visit. We started with Fried Calamari. Very crunchy. I ordered the fried chicken pancake tacos. I like the savory sweet combo but could only eat one. It came in a set of three. My brother ordered the corned beef has Benedict. It really looked good with the hollandaise sauce. Everything was tasty. I definitely have to come back to try other items. As we walked out they were assembling the special birthday cake milk shake. It looked awesome. It was for 2 little kids. Wheee! Sugar high.

I got the Nutella Reese's churro French toast ($20) and at first I thought it was huge. However, it was smaller than expected, especially for $20. I knew there was a lot of whipped cream from the online photos, but that was probably the majority of the value, more than I thought. It was sweet, definitely not short on calories and the French toast itself was cooked very well with that cool churro crust. The food came out really fast, which makes me a little suspicious how much was homemade or if part of it was premade. The staff was OK, not really attentive.

Inside, the café is clean, inviting, and has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a coffee or catching up with a friend. I ordered a large cold brew with vanilla syrup, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. Smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. I would absolutely order it again. For food, I tried the Breakfast Burrito, although it's really closer to a Crunchwrap than a traditional burrito. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, tater tots, and lima crema. On paper, it sounded like a home run. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to the description. It ended up being extremely greasy, mushy, and surprisingly lacking flavor despite having so many ingredients. I kept expecting each bite to get better, but it never really did. It was one of those dishes that had a lot of potential but just missed the mark. My cold brew and breakfast came to $23.84 with tax, which felt a little expensive for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee because it was excellent. As for the food, I'd probably try something different next time. If the kitchen can match the quality of the coffee, this place could be a real standout.

After doing a little research, I came across The Wheel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I made a reservation for Sunday brunch. Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first, and parking took a minute to figure out, but I eventually learned you can park for free at the Village next door, which made things much easier. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted and shown to the outdoor seating area. Walking through the restaurant, I was impressed by how beautiful the property is. It is incredibly spacious, sits right on the water, and even has an additional outdoor area next door where you can relax away from the restaurant. The views alone make this place worth visiting. Our server, Freddy, was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. Now onto the food. To start, we shared the Breakfast Pizza, topped with smoked bacon, crispy potatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, two eggs, and fresh cracked black pepper. It was a fun twist on brunch and had great flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp and Grits, made with cheddar grits, wild caught shrimp, a poached egg, and chimichurri. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich looked outstanding. Made with organic Murray's chicken, hot honey, coleslaw, and dill pickles, it came with fries and disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, featuring grilled hanger steak, two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri. The steak had excellent flavor, although I ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. It was my only real issue with the meal. We also tried a couple of cocktails. The Orange Crush was refreshing and perfect for brunch, while the bourbon, Aperol, peach, Earl Grey, and lemon cocktail was smooth, balanced, and equally enjoyable. Dessert was the perfect ending. The Take 5 Sundae with peanut butter crunch, pretzels, whipped cream, vanilla bean caramel, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge was absolutely delicious. We also had the Tres Leches, topped with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which was light, moist, and a great way to finish the meal. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious. Aside from the slightly confusing entrance, parking, and my overcooked steak, the entire experience was outstanding. The waterfront setting, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and quality food make this one of the best brunch spots in Stamford. I will definitely be back. Next time I already have my eye on the Banana Buttermilk Bread, Village Breakfast, Braised Short Rib Hash, Wheel House Burger, Margherita Pizza, Smoked Salmon Pizza, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich for myself. For drinks, I want to try the Charred Citrus, One in a Melon, and the Orange Crush. And I definitely need to save room for the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.

Favorite dish selections per voting of the table, were the brussel sprouts (~$20), calamari (~$20), and NY strip (~$50) specifically because of the tallow fried rice that laid underneath the steak! Although we enjoyed the quality and quantity of food, the service was quite slow. Our waitstaff didn't come by very often to take drink orders, refill water glasses, or follow up. It didn't seem too busy that evening, so we were a bit surprised. We stayed in the dining room on this trip, but hope to come back for a nice evening when the outside patio area is available.
