Inside, the café is clean, inviting, and has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a coffee or catching up with a friend. I ordered a large cold brew with vanilla syrup, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. Smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. I would absolutely order it again. For food, I tried the Breakfast Burrito, although it's really closer to a Crunchwrap than a traditional burrito. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, tater tots, and lima crema. On paper, it sounded like a home run. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to the description. It ended up being extremely greasy, mushy, and surprisingly lacking flavor despite having so many ingredients. I kept expecting each bite to get better, but it never really did. It was one of those dishes that had a lot of potential but just missed the mark. My cold brew and breakfast came to $23.84 with tax, which felt a little expensive for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee because it was excellent. As for the food, I'd probably try something different next time. If the kitchen can match the quality of the coffee, this place could be a real standout.

The quiche was made single serve, so lots of buttery crust with a creamy, rich filling loaded with ham chunks. The side salad was basic with a good homemade lemon vinaigrette. Perfect lunch! The interior was cozy with lots of people working. They also had outside seating as well. If I am back in area, would definitely stop in again.

Drinks are great. No issue with food. And the seating area/couches are kept pretty well maintained so you feel comfortable actually staying awhile. I only went in the morning so the place was still a cafe and shared workspace then. I think in the evening it transforms into a brewery. Inside it's very large and spacious, definitely quiet enough people could work but large enough you don't feel crowded. Most tables were already filled with 1-2 people working on tablets and laptops by the time I got there, but thankfully I was able to find some comfortable seating. If you want to snag a spot I suggest you arrive early - seems to be a popular place. I wish it was just a tiny bit easier for me to get in, but that's not a big deal as well. I had a stroller with me - you can enter from the back ramp if you're unable to take stairs for any reason but you just need to call them because the door is locked otherwise. Not a real issue, but I think I just wish it was open in general so I don't feel like an inconvenience to employees. I understand the business decision however. Overall, highly recommend.

PROOF... of incompetence, racism or both…read more My wife is a regular customer and usually stops by for an espresso drink as we do not have machine at home. I typically get nothing as their drinks just don't hit the spot for me (average at best). Usually we park on the side of the street going straight into coffee shop and I wait in the car just in case it needs to be moved. She hops out, gets her drinks and the whole thing takes maybe 3-5 min. Today, I was chilling in the car waiting for her, but all over sudden realized that at least 5 people that placed the orders after her and were served before her (espresso drinks and all). Turns out that she ordered double espresso for her and half-caf/half-decaf for me. The staff couldn't execute the drinks or whatnot (they don't do decaf? don't know what double espresso is?) and just kept her waiting while servicing other customers. At some point I guess, they just stopped responding to her inquiries about the drinks. Finally a different person appeared on the shift, my wife got her money back, and we left. Why racist? Hm... Let me think, would the same thing happen to white American male? That is, waiting for 15 minutes for inept staff? The staff was probably new as my wife have not seen them before, but that is no excuse for the lack of basic decency.

They removed the older more visible sign. I wouldn't have purchased anything if I knew since the whole point of the coffee and food was to have a place to work out of the house for an hour or so. I'm told that I can buy one cup of coffee and sit for 4 hours and read a book, I can sit for 4 hours and watch YouTube on my phone or iPad, or I can basically do all manner of reclusive things sitting by myself - but I am not allowed to sit and spend an hour or two writing on my laptop. Only the laptop is anti social, apparently. On days that I work from home, I like to get out of the house for a bit in the morning, enjoy a wonderful Kyoto cold brew and a coffee cake or Cinnamuff, and maybe get a second bite a bit later. And yes, get a bit of work done :) There are plenty of places in the area to go sit for hours and hours of work, so that is never my intent here, but to flat out ban laptops at all hours no matter how empty the store sure seems silly to me. I don't need to spend $15 to take my coffee back home. (I did once try emailing the owner to have a productive discussion on this but was ignored.)
