I had tried donuts from the Tennessee St. location and lived them. I and was NOT disappointed with this location. It was fairly crowded in the shop considering it just opened last week. We got a dozen assorted donuts that cost approximately $10.99 I believe. They were out of quite a few donuts, but I did come in late in the day. So far, my favorite is the caramel apple with apple pie filling inside and a caramel icing that is as smooth as soft serve ice cream. Unlike a large piece of cake which has a one dimensional dull flavor that satiates your desire for dessert very fast, a box of donuts is exciting fun intriguing and enticing. You may nibble 1/4 to 1/2 of several donuts and NOT feel stuffed. Best of all, each small bite is light, varied, interesting and SUPER delicious. I am a passionate serious lover of donuts, from Kane's Donuts in Saugus ( Boston area) Massachusetts to now gone Granny's Donuts in St Paul, Minnesota. Granny's created light-as-a-feather HEAVENLY donuts ( 2 bakings a day!). I still close my eyes and dream sadly, tear down my cheek mourning now closed Granny's. But Donut Kingdom is VERY close to Granny's texture and flavoring. DK's Boston Creme Pie has almost identical perfect chocolate frosting topping and Creme Custard center. They are ideal the first day baked- - melt in your mouth, outstanding blend of flavors! The fruit flavorings in the filled cake donuts are natural genuine and not too sweet. These last 2-3 days and are VERY delicious. The amount of powdered sugar and the pillow soft texture are perfect too! My most favorite are the Crullers. These were baked authentically with lots of eggs - - hence the almost cream puff moist interior and need to be eaten the first day. MAGNIFICENT! Shall dream of them! Finally the double chocolate old fashioned donuts indeed last very well for several days as the fellows answered. I adore good chocolate and DK uses top top chocolate in their products. The home of the absolute best and most creative donuts in Tallahassee! Although I've eaten Donut Kingdom creations for years, I love to see them expanding and now joining us over on Capital Circle, which is way closer to home and more convenient. Just means I get to stop by more often! They may be a tiny storefront, but they have so much inspiration in all their varieties of donuts! My favorites are the Twix, red velvet, glazed, and boston creme donuts! Plus, they keep rolling out new flavors like the Key Lime Pie. It's perfect to grab a half dozen to share while driving by on the weekend! They weren't overly friendly but they were courteous and polite. There was a great variety for selection. There was a very clean atmosphere but limited seating. There were options to sit outside but I would not recommend this place for a large group. However who cares about the seating the food is so fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by for these sweet treats. They also had ice cream option but I did not try it but it looked good. read more

Best donuts in Tallahassee! They are always my go-to. They are a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. They have a large selection of donuts with all kinds of great flavors. The atypical flavors they have (like Snickers or tiramisu) are never over the top. A great place to grab donuts on the way to work or church. This location is a little difficult to get to off Capital Circle, but there are other locations in Tallahassee. So good! read more

New to tallahassee looking for the classic donut shops found all over the big cities where you can get amazing donuts just about anywhere (from a donut shop not any chain). I would struggle to buy enough to meet the $4 minimum charge! Today got a dozen donut holes and three glazed. Paid a whopping $8 and change, Wow! Expected just over $4. And donuts and holes will most likely be thrown away. I've been looking for a business idea. I believe i just found it! I ran around dallas once getting just a dozen donut holes from all the donut shops within a mile of me, about 5 stores to find the best. All were better than here and only about $1.25 each and all way better than here! These were like dunkins or even krispy kreme's very different yet similar to here. I'm really disappointed with DK. I use to be such a huge fan until recently their prices have gone up dramatically and their customer service has gone down the drain. I came in today at 11:30 am. There were only 3 of us in the store and one guy ahead of me. Tell me why I was in the store 10 mins and nobody acknowledged my existence. So I just walked out. I'm not paying 10 bucks for 6 donuts. So glad but also worried that this location opened (I live far too close and I don't plan on buying larger clothes anytime soon). All three locations are fantastic and I can say without a doubt that they are the best donuts in town and it's not close. I love the variety and they do a good job of keeping the selection stocked and varied. My favorites are the blueberry cake and the chocolate creme filled but I've never had one that I didn't like.
