Heading out of town and thought we'd grab a few donuts. It was hard to choose what you wanted as the donuts were listed on a board but the donuts themselves were in the back of the shop. Many of the ones we asked for were out. Staff was not friendly/helpful in our selection process. The maple frosted was the best but our cake donuts were dry and hard. Gave us burnt donuts and when we asked for replacements they said to take it up with the owner. Our relative died hours ago and all we wanted was to have something comforting for people to eat while gathering to grieve our loss. Donuts cost nearly nothing and instead of just giving us new ones since the burnt ones were inedible, you add more steps of us having to make a complaint? You earned this one star in my opinion with your lack of respect and for serving inedible food to people. read more

Sorry, no pic (as we started taste testing as soon as we got in the car). We ordered the cherry glazed, cinnamon cluster, apple fritter, and maple crunch donut. Wow! They were all so soft! The apple fritter and cluster tasted very similar, but cluster was a little more dense and had more cinnamon flavor. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the cherry donut (which my boyfriend enjoyed), but I'm not a big fan of artificial cherry flavoring anyway (reminds me too much of cough syrup). We both thought the maple crunch was the best of the four...imagine a very flavor french toast but as a donut! We were tempted to go back daily. Definitely recommend checking them out! Stopped by for a few donuts before a road trip. Overall it was tasty and a good stop. Personally Id say the only real standouts are the cake donuts, they have a bit of crunch on the outside while being fluffy on the inside. read more

There was 2 cars ahead of me, when I got up the window a girl slammed the window in my face and tapped a sign to the window stating they had sold out at that location, didn't even have the respect to tell me. she proceeded to walk away where she thought I couldn't see her and then turned around just looking at me before I drove off. completely unprofessional, and rude. So my friend told me to stop in here and get donuts as we pass through on vacation. So we stopped in. I am from a place that has daylight donuts and those are the type of donuts I like. These donuts remind me more of Krispy Kreme donuts and I am not a fan of Krispy Kreme. I got a glazed donut and the cherry frosted donut. Both were entirely too sweet for me. I finished a little over half and threw the rest away. My husband got a twist and chocolate frosted. He too threw away half of his donuts. They were just too sweet for us. The bright side of our visit was some guy talking about buying a shirt at a thrift store, going to Hawaii 29 times and saying he was headed to Arkansas to see about a recruiter job with the football team. If you like watered down coffee and powdered cream this place is for you. From a donut you expect a melt in your mouth consistency but these are very flakey. Prices are good, as the service, however, I suggest you go to a gas station instead. read more

This used to be my go-to stop for donuts in Amarillo, but my advice now is to pass. This time, my bear claw and chocolate glazed donuts were doughy, and the service was indifferent. Not sure if the bad service made the donuts seem worse, but it didn't help. There's too many other donut shops in Amarillo along I40 to try before ever going back there again. read more
