Terrible service from the bartender on 6-15-26. God forbid you would want a refill. Or place an order for additional food. The waitress very ignorant ignores you after the first order. Doesn't bother to see if you want to refill or anything the other bartender was busy with everybody else she's very nice she's blonde with glasses very nice lady. If you like paying $87.83 (not including the tip) for 3 orders of wings and a couple of warm beers, this is the place for you. Service was so so, one waitress came over to the table and took away 2 empty glasses and returned with one glass of beer. Hmmmm, what's up with that? I had to wait for another waitress to come over and ask if I received my beer, I said no. Now for the wings, they are not JUMBO, according to their menu. Mine were not hot, just warm and were overcooked. The meat was on the dry side, BUT, the sauce was good. Make sure you look at your bill carefully, most people look at the bottom line and figure that is what is owed. NOT SO with Dooley's, if you use a credit card, they throw on an extra charge, which jacks up the bill to $90.37. We paid cash and figured the tip on $90.37. NEVER AGAIN will we be heading to Old Forge to visit this place. Prices are way too high at this place and the food was not that good. Usually nice place with good food and service. However, it disappointed us last night. We stopped for a quick bite and drinks. There were a lots of people there - either because if it was Friday or the local musician was performing last night. Everything we ordered was good. However, the crabcake served with onions came burned. Ee received only 2 egg rolls i/o 3 as per menu. It was disappointing to pay big money for that kind of experience. read more

3 is for food. Medium burger was very well done. The atmosphere and safety measures during COVID 19 great. The service was 5 stars!! Nick is terrific. Fries were good and crispy. We had a blast. Can't wait to go back and try a salad or wings or a wrap. Nice extensive menu for a bar. The burger bun was disappointing - soft and not toasted. My gf and I were first time patrons at this establishment and it amazed me with its fast service, well cooked food and atmosphere. Bar is very nice. The prices of drinks for a corner bar a little expensive. The food is not the best. Thought maybe it was due to take-out, but we ate inside and it was just as bad. I live 2 blocks from here and will never go back. I ordered food for take out. First of all, their website is not up to date so don't rely on that for menu items. After milling over the menu my vegetarian friend picked cheese quesadillas (4th option, after learning they no longer have mac and cheese, flatbread pizza, or volcano fries as website menu would indicate). Picked up order, drove all the way home to find out they are chicken. Called, got a new order of quesadillas. Ordered them specifically JUST cheese. Drove all the way back, picked them up, drove home, and there is onions and peppers on them. I called again to complain but did not drive back. Two weeks ago I came there on Sunday and ordered wing bites. I waited an hour for food and when they came out they were FROZEN. I wrote a message on their facebook wall explaining my complaint and the owner (I'm assuming?) wrote back this message as a comment: "Dear Amy, Dooley's is a bar. It never was, or will be a 5 star dining restaurant, just a good bar and a good time. Often on VERY high volume nights there can be a mix up or two in orders. Fortunately enough, I'm in this business for 25 years and I understand that, so I don't fault my staff for production. Also, I'm sorry, but we never really catered to the vegetarian crowd. We will somehow manage to survive in our little "shithole". Thanks for the insightful input. I mostly go here for Monday's $.30 clams or Tuesday's $.10 wings. The wings are truly fantastic. The menu has pretty standard bar fare, and most of the food is above average. Reasonable prices for food and beer, coupled with a whole bunch of t.v.'s tuned to sports makes this a great place to go to watch a game. read more

I would like to start off by saying I LOVE their wings and order take out quite frequently but I'm writing this review to I guess 'warn' others from using credit cards to pay here. It has happened twice that they have changed the tip and charged more. It's obviously just few bucks more probably because they don't want you to notice that (I have an app on my phone so I get notified of the charges against my credit card) but it's quite unethical given the fact that an appropriate tip has already been included! The food is excellent when the wait staff gets your order correct. The cooks do an incredible job and are always timely and really put an effort into making things look nice. Tonight I went and our waitress got every order wrong, dropped the food off and never came back. She played beer pong next to our table while I got up and went to the bar 3 separate times for drinks as well as my check. Saying this I have never not tipped someone - however tonight since our young waitress blatantly ignored us throughout the night and didn't even bring us the check I did not tip her. She did everything wrong. I later come home to get an alert saying I was charged an extra $8! My bill was $42, my statement says $50. She wrote over my X and tipped herself. I only came to this bar bc I was stuck in town for the nite. Had a great time, the staff treated me like a regular. Since then I've been twice which lately is everytime I come to old forge.
