I am, however,…read morethankful for that because my experience was quite the opposite and if I read the poor reviews before I visited the store I may not have visited. My son just joined the local civil air patrol squadron and needed some patches sewn on his BDUs. Like I do so often, I waited to the last minute and needed it the next day. They informed me that they are a week out on alterations but might be able to get it done sooner. I had my wife bring the jacket and the patches to the store because the event was postponed therefore we had the time to wait. Again she told my wife it would be about a week and two days later we got a phone call saying that it was ready. I feel they went above and beyond to accommodate us and I will definitely be back for more alterations. One thing I noticed is the response to the poor reviews showed an effort to make things right.

I cannot stress to you how rude, mean and just plain dismissive Nicki was this morning as well as every other time that I have been to this location. While I was there, a gentleman came in and shared with me that this was the second time this location had lost one of his shirts, and he didn't know why he kept coming back! I am updating my review as I recently decided to give their drop-off laundry service a try. After…read morewasting my time & coins with the broken machine on my initial visit, I figured the drop off service was the way to go. I had a king size comforter with 2 pillow shams and a queen size blanket. I dropped the items off at around 11 AM and they were ready for pickup by 4PM. The charge for all 4 items came to $20 (plus tip), which i felt made up for the couple of bucks I previously lost in the broken machine. Next time I need blankets & comforters washed, I will definitely use the drop off service. It is well worth it not to have the hassles of feeding coins into broken machines and having to wait sit around around for the whole time the machines are running. The lady providing the service was very friendly and easy to do business with. I am not sure if the service is cash only, but I had cash with me in case they don't take cards.

When I went to pick it up they said that it didn't make the truck and it wouldn't be there until Thursday. Today I went to pick it up, paid for it, walked my top out to the car where I noticed there was a rip right where one of the ice cream drips was. Top ruined and I needed it for an event in Vegas I leave to tomorrow. I walked back in to talk to him and the receipt on the top says "damaged upon receiving" which it was NOT. The only thing damaged about it was the ice cream stain. So not only did they completely ruin my garment, but they lied to cover it up. Clearly there's a reason why it was late!!! I filed a damage report and am waiting for the owner to make this right. They still have my top. I'm furious.

I took a total of 7 items to have cleaned and dropped them off and got a receipt for $44. I brought back my receipt to pick up the items and suddenly my bill changed to $75. The lady working there was extremely short with me when I politely tried to explain that I would have never left my clothes with her if it was that much money for that few items and that I never even got another receipt other than the $44 one. She also told me she could not get a stain out of one of my dresses and acted like that was okay and still charged me for the item! Very rude and very horrible service! I honestly wish I could give them negative stars and I hope they go out of business and think that they will if they keep treating customers like they treated me!

THEIR "REPAIR" RUINED MY SOFA UPHOLSTERY! DON'T GO HERE!…read more The upholstery on my sofa detaches and is machine washable. I tore it while putting it back on. I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. The sofa was custom made in Japan and is a one of a kind piece. Pics of the tear and what they did to it. The pics of the denim repair is an example of what I asked them to do.

When I picked up my suit, it was returned without a protective plastic bag and had wrinkles throughout the garment - completely unacceptable for professional dry cleaning. I reached out twice to address the issue - once by email and once with a written letter - but never received any response or acknowledgment. Their complete lack of customer service and accountability cost them a long-term customer. I have not returned since and cannot recommend them.

The customer service around this unfortunate event was awful. For the first 3-4 weeks, they said that they were going through factory and trying to identify clothing that survived the fire which was totally understandable. When they could not find our clothes, they asked for the value of our loss. This information was promptly provided. That was 3 months ago, and we have heard nothing since then. They no longer respond to my calls or emails. We will no longer be using this dry cleaner. There is not much of a selection of dry cleaners on Hilton Head, but so far, Door to Door has been fine. It is very convenient, but a bit pricy. But we will never go back to Waters based on how they responded to this unfortunate fire.

When I went in to pick up my items I was charged for a denim jacket and pants, which cost more. I asked why I was charged for a denim jacket instead of a women's 2 piece suit and was told that the jacket was denim. The jacket colors were black, maroon, off white and gold; nothing like a denim jacket. I told the cashier clerk that the jacket was not denim and that I was being overcharged. She said that there was nothing that she could do to change the price. Very poor customer service. I will never go there again.
