Just had our first order delivered from Door to Door and it was a disaster. The delivery driver smokes in the vehicle and our supposed clean clothes smell like they have been in a fire. went in to drop off a jacket to be cleaned. Lady behind counter asked my last name, then my first name, then my phone number. Said "you have never been here before" My reply was yes, been coming here for 3 years. She then read me every first name she had with my last name. None of those are the first name I just gave you so no reason to read me all the names of your other customers. I do not recommend. Terrible service. I walk in on a Monday. Two people working behind the counter. One is facing me. Neither acknowledged me for nearly five minutes. beware never ever bring any clothes, jackets suits or anything to the dry cleaner. They ruined my hundred percent silk coat that had white mink on it and then they donated it to Goodwill. Can you believe that they damaged it never gave my money back never paid for it and they gave it to Goodwill. I'm furious. read more

When I came to pick up my rugs after cleaning I was shocked by the price. Getting them cleaned was more expensive than the purchase price of the rugs combined. I had asked for an estimate first and never got one. When I expressed my shock they said I could call the man who cleans them. He was incredibly rude, insisted I never asked for an estimate and that "the rugs were his now." The dry cleaning company eschewed any responsibility. They said they normally tell customers that he is "pretty pricey" and the charge per square foot but none of that information was given to me. The only call I got was that they were ready. I am very unhappy with my overall service. I brought linen table clothes and napkins in to get dry cleaned along with 2 dresses. I asked for a price quote when I came in to drop off, but the owner didn't seem to know how much it would be. She was very rude to me from when I came in to drop them off. Said I would receive a phone call for when they were ready. Received one where the owner said my things were taking up space so I needed to come get them. That was the first I heard from them in 2 weeks. Came in to pick up my things, where I was shocked to be given a price of over $400. If the price is going to be that much, you need to give a price quote even if it's a ballpark. The front desk lady was very sweet, but the owner was very rude and disrespectful. Relocated to Bluffton, SC 2016 from Fairfax, VA...I wear a lot of suits, shorts, trousers, blazers and other garments...I have questioned Door to Door why they charge $4.50 to launder a dress shirt with heavy starch to which they won't do heavy starch (I request military pressed shirts)..."that is the price"...moving hear from Fairfax where the cost to launder a shirt $1.50...Blazer $6.00, trousers $5.50...I don't get it! Why is it they get away with gouging customers to this level...any advise? read more

No return calls, expensive, unwilling to work on problems. It was great when they picked up on Wednesday. Delivered on Friday, now only Wednesday to Wednesday and often not then. Took a bedspread in to be cleaned that had stains from my dad with Alzheimer's. They asked permission to soak the spread so the stains would come out better as they were not pleased. Came back and the spread looks like new and smells so clean!!! read more

I brought in some of my favorite St. John Knits for blocking and cleaning. So I spoke to the owner, Dustin to get his assistance. He told me what he could accomplish and that if he was unable to remove a stain he would not charge me. He was good to his word and was able to clean and block 2 items perfectly. Dustin and his staff were so helpful and friendly. I was happy to learn that The Clothes Press on HHI (near me) send their clothes to Door 2 Door in Bluffton to be cleaned. read more

Just moved to town. Thought I found a dry cleaner I could use. But then I realized, the hard way, these folks close at 5 o'clock and are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Maybe I'm just spoiled but I've been getting my business suits dry cleaned for the past 30 years at dry cleaners that were open when I came home from work and were open when I was going to work. read more

This used to be a great cleaners, but has steadily gone downhill. My last experience was with a pair of Brooks Brothers khakis that were returned to me scorched. The stain that I brought it in for was still there, along with some others! It is very, very expensive for such poor quality! I used to even have some Brioni suits and shirts cleaned there, but I sure wouldn't now! Also, the above-mentioned Khakis I brought in are clearly marked "Dry Clean Only", but they had a tag on them saying "wetcleaning recommended".. Just terrible work at very, very high prices! Finally found a great dry cleaning service. Reasonably priced, efficient and fast turn around. And who can beat door to door service.

Gave them two tries - failed on both attempts. Customer service from the front desk ladies is great, the owner doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Dry cleaning was okay. Very very expensive. They have a pickup service and some of the drivers can be very careless on the road. I only gave them two stars because the dry cleaning was okay but other than that I will not be using them again. Even though they are the closest dry cleaner near me. read more
