She was pleasant at first then called me back and told me her worker said he was told by the gentleman here that they did not have to worry about there mess he would take care of it, he didn't want them on his property... 1st off there was no man here ( no one was home at all...) 2nd one of the guys was already on the property picking up the big pieces of trash they let go. She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! She did tell me they would be here the next morning between 7-8 am I am still waiting for them but when I called her to ask if there was an eta she blew up on me, was Cussing me out and Hung up on me, Again this was all caught on camera, when I told her I am leaving a review. This is a business that has been operating for years, but just hasn't been written up until…read morerecently. I think that is because they focused more on commercial business in the past, but they now are very big in residential. Auburn seems to focus on Marvin Windows ... wood, clad, and fiberglass ... they got you covered. Now keep in mind with Marvin that you have to bring your wallet. Marvin's are not cheap, but the rule "you get what you pay for" applies - they have quality stuff. You can buy cheaper, but you can't buy better. We have slowly been going through the house replacing all of our old windows - over 20 windows and they are 35 years old. We worked with Scott over the last three years, and were pleased every time. He is detailed and experienced. He and Auburn ordered the windows, and set us up with installers and finishers to complete the job. From start to finish, I couldn't give a higher recommendation to Auburn and Scott. We'll be back next year to finish our replacement job. Highly recommended.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

Just finally completed all the windows in our home. We did them on 3 trips due to the cost and we…read moredidn't want to take a loan out. Windows cost a lot no matter where you go. It takes about 6-8 weeks once you order. We had problems with our install on 2 of the trips. The second install the guy left caulk in 2 spots on our hardwood floor. We never called about this because we are planning to resand them. This is very careless on his part because he did have tarps down. The 3rd install the guy who put one of the octagons in never leveled the window. So as they were ready to leave and my husband checked the work it was obviously off center without even placing a level. The guy fixed it before he left. Now that the work is done, we are happy. Windows are beautiful. Just make sure to check everything over before they leave.
