My brother referred me to this company after replacing the windows in his own home. He said the window quality was amazing and the prices were extremely competitive. We contacted a few other companies to make sure Lang was priced right, not only were they competitve, they were more affordable than the rest. I cannot begin to tell you how many complements we received on all of our windows. The bow in the living room makes the room appear so much larger and provides so much ventilation from the picture window it replaced. Great company and even better products. I've worked with several companies across the Chicago land area and they are the best. Prices are very reasonable and the products speak for themselves. They carry a great selection of window packages that one can choose from to get the most efficient window and have a variety of colors..For years I have been using their windows and am always satisfied. If on the very rare occasion there is something wrong with a window they are quite helpful in helping resolve the issue. As a contractor I use these windows in my own home and have not had any issue with them since they were installed about 7 years ago! My husband and I bought a house near St. Louis, MO and have lived in it for about 11 years. The windows had been replaced with Lang Exterior windows by the previous owners prior to us moving in. The weather stripping has cracked and is falling apart (because it's old, old, old). We did some research and couldn't find a carrier in our area. We called one of the stores in Chicago and talked to Beth. We then sent them a couple emails with pictures and they are sending us the weather stripping in the mail. I have done three rehabs and my contractors have all used Lang. I've never had a problem with any of the windows and in the latest job the neighbors all love the new look - as do I. While I understand Lang mostly sells to contractors, I've stopped in the offices (North and South side) and have always been treated politely. I needed help having a window re-glazed (due to a break-in) and they were more than helpful. I've also stopped in to get some extra matching caulk and the employees were very helpful in making sure I had the right color. They even looked up the order by my address and contractor just to double check. I highly recommend them. read more

Just got Lang Windows installed in my house this past weekend. I argued with my contractor because I wanted quotes on several different windows, but he said he won't waste his time with another window. So glad that I decided to take his word for it. The woman who appeared to be the manager or owner was very rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional throughout my visit. I installed new casement windows in my bedroom. My old windows would open correctly but then the extension bar would fall out the bottom and I couldn't close them. I used to have to take the screen down, reach out and try to realign the bar in the casement. They sell decorative glass they call groovy glass which makes my windows look great when the morning sunlight sparkles through them. The absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Lang needs to clean house, the employees I spoke with are HORRIBLE representatives of the company.
