Great service. The main coil of my garage door broke in the evening. Called them next morning and they gave me a time and an estimate over phone. The technician came on time and when he found we needed one coil instead of two, he reduced the charge from what they said on phone. Though I asked if I needed two coils, he said one is sufficient. The tech fixed the door in about 30 minutes and was very nice and professional. He said "No problem, I have exactly what you need!" I had called another door repair company who wanted to charge me more than double what door doctor did, and they were relying on me to tell them what the problem was. Excellent! We had a clearly-broken spring on one side of our 2-car garage door on a Friday. Luckily we had one car outside of the garage. Messaged several places over that weekend, and Door Doctor called me on Monday morning and sent someone out within a couple of hours. It was George (who was excellent as I've seen in other reviews). He adjusted a couple of other annoyances we've had with the door (gratis) and was out in no time it seemed. $260 to replace two springs (all places recommend replacing the other non-broken spring at the same time, since it will probably go soon, too) was an excellent deal. They were able to respond within 30 minutes of our request- this exceeded my expectation as I figured we would get an appointment for next week. George S. arrived and was very knowledgeable and professional. He assessed the problem (the door made an awful noise and the key pad didn't work) and explained how he would fix it. He serviced the garage door and replaced the key pad. He also noticed that the garage light was not working, so he replaced the light bulbs. He walked me through how to set the key pad code and was very intentional on maintaining our privacy. The price for everything was $175. Very professional garage door repair company. I called them in summer 2013 to assess the bottom panel of garage, which was rotting. After making an appointment, they came to do an assessment and provided a cost estimate (about $150). Was relieved that only the bottom panel needed to be replaced. He came back a week later to remove the old panel and custom-fit a new panel. Unfortunately, the garage door pattern did not match the upper panels, so he had to order a matching pattern and came back a week later to redo the installation. There was no charge for the third visit. Overall, I would call Door Doctor again if we needed garage door repairs or a panel replacement. read more

Our latest episode came when our garage door simply stopped working, and they needed to order a whole new system. A) the new system is virtually silent, so now my wife wants the 2 other doors to have the same new system. B) we needed to be away for the day they could come over but we're able to follow my directions about certain programs etc... This time around one of the garage springs above my door busted around 7:30pm (Friday). Called their after hours service and received a call the next morning from Door Doctor. A technician was available to come between 9am-Noon, showed up at 10, and everything was fixed by 11 (had both springs replaced - recommended). For the curious, my calls over the decade involved: 1) Broken spring; 2) Door torn off the tracks (this was an emergency call); 3) New Lift Master installed; and 4) Broken spring.
