This company promised me a Senior Discount. THen would not honor it because I paid invoice past 30 days. The work they did was not done properly and when I asked them to come out and review the work and repair it properly - they refused to to honor their work because their warranty on work is only 30 days. When I called them to work out a resolution they told me they don't treat all customers so disrepectfully - just me?? if you want to overpay for inferior work and have them refuse to honor their work past 30 days - hire this company. Loudoun Garage Door did an excellent job repairing my damaged garage door. They were very responsive, helpful and fairly priced. I received a quote the day I called and a service technician was out the next day (on-time) to do the repair. He finished the work in a timely manor and did an excellent job as well. I love the fact that they did not try to upsell me on products/services I didn't need (my opener was working fine and I didn't need a new one according to the tech just new springs). Update to my original review. My rating on Loudoun Garage Door stands, (if I could lower it at all, I would!); but I need to update my review of Amaar Garage Door Company - the manufacturer. Although it took many weeks for them to respond, they finally did at least and came out this week to replace the faulty door seal and happily replaced the one on the second door that was fine so they would match! They openly admitted the seals they started using were a mistake. It took them all of 20 minutes to replace both with an entirely different type - further emphasizing the complete lack of caring for their customers by Loudoun Garage Door. They refused to perform a simple, inexpensive, and fast job on what was a $3800 purchase for one of their (now ex) customers; even after several other errors on the same job order! read more

Spring above the door broke and almost scared my wife to death! They sent someone out to verify measurements, and from looking at my original doors they gave me pointers like I should lower the top space before they installed the weather strip (I told them I was replacing all the the wood garage door trim with PVC). I wish all businesses were as effective and helpful as this one. I had been having problems with one of my garage doors. The door would open but wouldn't close without holding the button down the whole time at the remote-unit mounted near the door to the house. I called Loudoun Garage Door on a holiday and spoke to the person who answered the phone. He explained that they were pretty booked up because of the holiday, but he quickly (and accurately) diagnosed my problem over the phone and told me I could purchase the needed parts at his store for under $50. Needless to say, I showed up within the hour and purchased the new sensors (which were at the register, already waiting for me). The guys who were there were extremely professional and nice as heck. We talked a little, as they pointed out a couple of things for me to remember when installing the new sensors. Then they showed me a set of plastic cages I could install that would protect the sensors from accidental kicking. I purchased them as well, and they were exactly what I needed. It took me about an hour to change out the sensors and to install the protective cage. I called them once during the installation with a quick question, which they answered. Once installed, the door worked perfectly once again. It was clear the people working here were honest and interested in helping me solve my problem. These guys are awesome. I had some damage to the top couple panels. Sears came out first, and they tried to rip me off. So, went with a friend's recommendation and called Loudoun Garage. They were very easy to work with. I took a few pictures and sent them to the manager over email. He gave me a quote and had Dwight come over the next day. Dwight knew his stuff! In 10 minutes he fixed it enough so that I could open it. They were able to then replace the damaged sections and charged me half of what Sears wanted. I love this company. I have three garage doors, and one of them was squeaking rather badly. I also dropped one of my remotes, and it decided not to work anymore even after I replaced the battery. So I gave Loudoun garage door a call because I saw that they have very high ratings. Randy, the owner, showed up in less than 24 hours, and got to work. In less than an hour he had all the doors running smoothly with no awful squeaking noises. He also told me to throw out my old remote as it was from the 80s. So I got a brand new beautiful small remote in place of it. I called LGD twice, both times with the intention of having them come out and fix a simple problem, but one that was all-too complicated for a guy like me who is the least-handy around the house! The first time I called, Mr. Randy warned me of the service fee, so instead offered to send me a few nuts and bolts that would solve the problem. The package arrived, but thru no fault of LGD, the envelope was damaged and empty. The second time I called I told Mr. Lamdin that I thought I had fixed the problem, but when I closed the garage door there was still "daylight" at the bottom. He guided me thru the fix and the entire garage door issue is now a thing of the past. These guys are the greatest! This company installed a replacement garage door for me. The tech was not able to complete the job at first and had to come back again two weeks later. The new door had a gap at the top and bottom because it was installed incorrectly. I called again to have the door straightened and they would not honor their warranty. These were the second guys that I called when my garage door just wouldn't open. The first folks I called gave me a labor cost, "plus parts". Then I called Loudoun Garage Door and the really nice lady who answered walked me through a short trouble shooting and identified the problem an gave me a flat rate for replacing both springs. I was impressed because the first firm didn't do anything to determine exactly what the problem was. Loudoun Garage Door answered the phone at 8:31 a.m. 30 minutes before their posted opening hours, and the tech was at my door exactly one hour later.
