He took measurements and discussed with us a number of possibilities at a number of price ranges and we felt very well-informed about our options. We visited the show room to get a better sense of what the doors actually look like and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. It took about a month for the door to be made and shipped and installation took one day. The installation crew were quick and efficient, removing the old door, tracks and motor and installing the new door with keypad and remote openers. At each step of the way I got the feeling that the company really cared about our business and tried to be as helpful as possible. This is a good company. They installed when they said they would. They did it quickly. I did not like the openers they installed. We had two doors installed in our new home, but only got one remote for each door. They normally come with two. No outside touch pad, normally in the package. My suggestion is to buy the openers yourself. They said they get them cheaper, now we know why. We are happy over all. We haven't really had time to test their installation by using them. read more

My cable started unspooling from one of the flywheels on my garage door at midnight. The door emitted this awful squealing sound as it started to come down so I quickly reversed and left it in the up position. I called Door Pros first thing the next morning and they were able to dispatch Gabe, the technician, to my house within a few hours. He was able to rewind the cable, check the other flywheel and cable, roller spring, the balance and the garage door opener. He also lubricated everything, which made the door operation a lot quieter. He showed me where I should lubricate the system every 6 months and explained that helps keep everything running smoothly. He was finished in an hour. That only cost $159 which is very reasonable. I also asked for a quote on a new insulated door with window inserts. He showed me door colors and different window sunburst designs. He explained that garage doors installed by Door Pros comes with a backup battery per state law so the door is still operation when the power goes out. I like that idea! She set up an appointment for technician Gabe to come out the same day and assess the situation. He called when on his way, and arrived promptly. Despite Covid-induced delays (about 14 weeks from order to install) in the supply chain, DoorPros did a great job for us replacing EVERYTHING - tracks, door, motor - total gut job and re-do. New door is lighter, better insulated and QUIETER than our old wood door that weighed a zillion pounds. Also, Mason, who had done several service calls for us as the old door died a messy death, also measured and wrote up the estimate for the new install, and ended up being the one who came out and did the work. He removed all of the old door and parts, and did a great job installing all-new tracks, braces, new door and motor. We went with the side-mount motor and it's great. SUPER QUIET. Now, I can't even tell when my wife is pulling in to the garage any more. Highly recommend them, everyone from the office was great to deal with too. But for sure, try to get Mason on your job!
