Miss the affordable banh mi here for lunch. Used to be $7 and is now $10! Too small for $10. Can't justify that when I can go get a whole chipotle bowl for less than $9. Please make it $8 and I will be a return regular.

Looking for a quick lunch option and craving dumplings, I tried Dope for the first time. The most notable thing about the whole experience was the employee. We did not feel welcome upon entering, it was almost like she was bothered to have us dining there. As this was a new restaurant for me, I tried asking a few questions about the menu options, and was again met with a condescending attitude. The dumplings came out, and I will say those were great, really the only enjoyable part of this visit. Definitely recommend the cilantro maggi aioli for dipping. But I felt rushed to leave and do not really want to come back since the employee made it so uncomfortable.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday with my husband after an event downtown & we were both glad we did. It's located on the second level of the Kroger building. The service was great - the guy who took our order & made our food was friendly & the security team who was walking around also seemed very friendly. We split everything that we ordered, so I got to try a variety of things. We ordered two of the Boo Yah! Bao Buns - one Pork Belly (braised pork belly with slivered green onion, cucumber with spicy hoisin sauce) and one Lemongrass Chicken (chicken with arugula, sprouts, crispy onions with cilantro Maggi mayo). These are a bargain at $4 a piece bc let me tell you about the flavor they pack! Wow. The buns are so, so soft & everything inside is loaded with sauce & spice & deliciousness. I will admit the pork belly was my favorite by far, but the chicken was something fresh & different. Next as the Slammin' Banh Mi, we ordered the Pork Belly (pork belly with pickled daikon, pickled carrot, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeno with sriracha aioli). This sandwich was $7 & worth every penny. I loved the cilantro & cucumber & pickled elements - it all worked so well together. Finally, we had the Dope! Dumplings with Pork (ground pork, napa, and green onions). They had a variety of dipping sauces, we chose Sriracha Garlic Aoili. We got five dumplings for $7 & would order them again & again. We brought most of these home & reheated them in the air fryer & they were still fabulous the next day. We will definitely be back for some carry out!

Everything was delicious. Would go back again. It was a fun food hall market style above the Kroger and for an out of towner- I'll recommend any day and I'll be back. The lemongrass broth was so yummy! The baos were great, and my guy was digging the pork belly ramen. Everything too notch!

I was so excited to have this place reopen because it was a fave a couple of years ago. I like that it's in the new Kroger eatery because it gives you the option of ramen plus all of the other great things that go with it (like a cocktail or dessert). I tried the chicken dumplings and they did not disappoint, flavorful and cooked well. The ramen is soooooooo good. I'm not even a huge ramen fan, but this place is out of sight. I hope it gets on a delivery service soon because in the middle of winter hot ramen, without venturing into the cold, will be a win!

Definitely not your traditional ramen spot, but for strolling into a food court on a rainy day it definitely hit the spot. Got the lemongrass chicken shoyu ramen with extra chili oil and I was pretty happy with it. Not a big fan of mushrooms so next time I might go without them but bit a deal breaker.

Finally made it here to try their ramen. I had the pork and shrimp wonton shoyu ramen with spice level 2 and it was delicious! Very flavorful topped with mushrooms and garnished with cilantro! We grabbed fried chicken from another food court booth stand "Yet to be named Korean Fried Chicken." The fried chicken was extra crispy and loved their seasoning! Will definitely come back die more!

I came here for the pork miso ramen and ended up with the pork pan fried dumplings and char-siu bao as well! This place is a little hidden gem on the 2nd floor of the Kroger. I must say the ramen was absolutely seasoned to perfection. I ordered the spiciest broth and could feel little bits of red peppercorn tingling on my tongue afterward. It had such a strong taste with deliciousness mixed in. The bao buns were great the char-sui had notes of sweet. It was stuffed in with some carrots and other vegetables. I enjoyed the garlic sriracha sauce for the pan fried pork dumplings though I may try a different sauce like the spicy chili oil for additional heat. Overall the food is great and pretty tasty. I would say the ramen is really well seasoned and tasty though may cut back on the spice next time to savor more of the food. Additionally the pork belly was nicely salted and went well with the broth. I did notice restaurant is currently having a door dash promotion. Highly recommend this place because food is very good!

I have been wanting to try Dope! for a while and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi was my favorite!! The pork belly bao buns were almost equally amazing. I wasn't a huge fan of the beef or chicken bao buns but the service was fast and nice :)

Quite the cincinnati gem Everything was absolutely delicious and despite ordering delivery everything came hot and well packaged Banh mi - perfect breast, crusty on the outside and soft on the interior Wings - arguably the best wings I've had in cincinnati - 10$ for 6 wings is pricey but I'll be paying it again --- Food was amazing, can't wait to try the ramen next

Ordered Drunken noodles via Doordash, with pork. They were like shoe leather. The noodles were alright, but the pork was horrific.

Do the Hyde Park and OTR locations offer good outdoor seating?

The OTR location is in the food court level above the OTR Kroger - lots a great seating including an outdoor patio on that level.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
