We ordered Curry Rice, Teriyaki Chicken and Osaka Fried Rice to go today. Cute little eating area, fairly diverse menu and fair price for the area. Tried all three dishes and the Osaka Rice was far and above the winner. Don't mistake Japanese curry for Thai curry. Nowhere near the same. The curry rice was delicious. but, could've used a little more sauce (peppery but, not dry). Teriyaki chicken is also not what you would expect. I appreciate the fact that it's not breaded and the vegetables with the rice are a nice addition. Will order again eventually.

Osaka Ramen House was a stellar little joint in Crescent Springs. They have a nicely decorated interior with lots of cool Asian decor. They focus on their Ramen as their menu is full of different variations. We started with an appetizer called Takoyaki which was deep fried batter with octopus pieces. As weird as it may sound to some I though they were delicious. It was unlike anything I'd ever tasted but I really liked it. Keeping with the seafood theme I tried the Seafood Ramen. It came with chicken broth with curry base, jumbo shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, fish cake, bok choy, and green onions. It was absolutely fantastic with especially the seafood standing out as it should. The service was very good and rounded out a fantastic lunch.

Food was great. No wait. Fast service. Ambiance is great. Chopsticks were quality, not cheap wood.

So delicious. The perfect eggs! We had been in the mood for ramen and decided to check this place out after an airport pickup - definitely satisfied our craving! Small, cozy spot and friendly service. The bubble tea was quite good, too!

This is the best tonkatsu I've ever had! Service was great, fast and kind. Menu is thorough explaining what's in each dish for those, like me, unfamiliar with some terms or words. It's a nice spot with fun Japanese themed decor, the pan fried gyoza were also delicious. Can't wait to return!

I love the broth and the egg. The egg was perfectly soft. The place is cutesy decorated. The customer service is warm and friendly. My favorite was the wooden spoon.

Great customer service and the food was delicious! I highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic ramen in the NKY area.

Broth was great, flavor was on point. Service was friendly. I really enjoyed the teas. I asked for little chili oil and was in heaven. I plan to come back, I brought a coworker for his first ramen experience.

Good little ramen house. Clean, quiet, cozy. The ramen had a good portion of meat which was nice. A lot of ramen places have small portions of meat. They also offer gluten-free noodles.

They have a simple menu though it covers all the bases. I have the spring rolls and cucumber salad, my dinner companion had the vegetarian noodles, we both had a boba and couldn't be happier! Very good food and reasonable prices. We were seated and waited on immediately by a friendly face. The restaurant is small but they make the best use possible with what they have. The wooden benches aren't the most comfortable so bring something cushy if you are sensitive. Hunt this place down and give it a shot. I know I will be back.

What a cool hidden gem, first time visiting and definitely not the last time. Everything we tried was delicious, the ramen felt fresh, the cuts of meats where tender, everything well balanced with a good amount of ingredients. The Takoyaki where amazingly good as well. The place has a cool, clean vibe and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. With this cold weather a Shoyu Ramen pairs perfectly! If you haven't tried it yet, give it a chance, it's a 100% recommended.

    Shoyu Ramen!

I've travelled all over the world and I can honestly say this was the best bowl of ramen I've had outside of Japan. I highly recommend the Shoyu Bowl, it was so good. The pork was tender and really mixed well with the noodles and egg! Service was a little slow to get to us when we got there but it gave us time to look at the menu and make our minds. Overall it was nice and anytime my drink was empty she would get me a new one right away. Ambiance admittedly was a little bland. Some wallpaper inside the actual restaurant, other than that there wasn't much ambience. I'd recommend maybe adding some plants or some more decor. I didn't feel very drawn in. All in all, the food and service was great and I'd highly recommend to any ramen lovers! And they also have appetizers and other menu items, they have a website!

This place was far above what I was expecting. I was seated immediately and there were a few tables in there, nothing too crazy though. The server gave me a menu and water right away and let me figure out what I wanted. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and added an extra egg to it, I love the soft boiled eggs in any ramen, and a spice level of 1. After ordering my food came within ten minutes. It was astonishingly fast. It came out hot and looked so good. The eggs were perfectly soft boiled, the pork was tender, the broth was flavorful and the perfect level of spice. The noodles were super good and all together it was a great bowl. The portion sizes were huge so I took the rest home for leftovers. My server checked on me often and was very attentive. She offered dessert but I was way too full. The service was super fast, I was probably in there for just over 40 minutes in total. I didn't feel rushed a t all, and overall it was a great place I will definitely be going to again.

I wasn't as surprised this time by the location in a neighborhood, something that gives it a very welcome feel and suggests with the addition of a covered outdoor porch with picnic tables that this is a good neighborhood hang. I was late for lunch, almost two but there were some folks still finishing up. Good vibe, good music and casual atmosphere. I opted for the Takoyaki app which was tasty and not so burning hot that it scorched the roof of your mouth. Also the right amount of mayonnaise as opposed to often an excess. The Ramen Flight was fun in principle but I wouldn't do it again. I unwisely and perhaps naively assumed there would be mini versions of the full serving of Tonkotsu broth with Mayo, Thai curry and Szechuan with scallions. But it really is just the broth and ramen. Expected the Szechuan to have some heat and peppery lip buzz but did not. The Thai curry was super salty. Just missed some option of veggies and protein. Finally I would suggest not sitting near the front near the stairs to the kitchen. The spot has competing music soundtracks with two different play lists battling between your two ears.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
