For the price I should taste the tea and want to - please change your recipe back and if you didn't change anything - please train the staff to make it right! The food is still good but the complete lack of contact and then asking for a tip, is maddening. Without being greeted by the employee who was standing there, I placed my own order on the touch screen. In fact, when I asked her a question about her preference between two items she just said she didn't know. They had just opened up so the counters were pretty clean. It took almost 15 minutes to get my rice bowl and when my food came up, she put it on the countertop and walked away without a word. Come on, put a little bit of effort into it for your customers! Excellent! Not a lot of places in town to find a good Bahn mi. But this definitely delivered. The baguette was a good size, the meats were large, it was super flavorful. It came with some assorted colorful crisps that were all so good. I also got a Vietnamese coffee which was good but not sure if it was worth $5. Definitely going to try the bahn mi again! The flavors were fresh and everything tasted authentic. The Crab Rangoon's were especially flavorful, crispy on the outside with a delicious filling. The only downside was that the chicken in my bowl was a bit on the salty side. Other than that, it was a great experience and I'd definitely go back to try more items on the menu. As fast food, this place was ok. You order at a computer kiosk, and they they let you know when your order is ready (by text though I stayed in the area). Person at the counter was not trying to interact other than to deliver food. As a bahn mi (or Vietnamese) specialty restaurant, I would have to rate this as between failing and fail. Summer rolls had fresh veggies but had to really search for the shrimp. I would not waste the two extra dollars to get the protein. The sauce was the highlight of this appetizer. As sandwich, this was ok but did not have the flavor or feel of a bahn mi. The bread was a standard hoagie roll, the meat was not well seasoned, and the slaw was more American than I am. If you are looking for something to eat, it was ok. If you are looking for a quality pork bahn mi, I would recommend going elsewhere. Most times I would have thought that I caught them on a bad night but you can't get two staples of your menu that wrong. I should have believed the reviews online that were not positive to negative. I know that I can remove this restaurant from my list of places to return to. There are many other potential restaurants in this food hall to try. Food halls have become quite popular and there are three within a short drive of my house. The newest is Gatherall at Factory 52. This location has over a dozen food stalls plus multiple bar options. The first food stall I tried was Phat Bánh Mì. The staff working was very friendly and helped explain the menu as needed. I watched from a nearby table as orders were quickly prepared and text messages sent to hungry patrons. I tried the Lemongrass Chicken Bánh Mì with lemongrass chicken on a toasted baguette with pickled daikon, pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, jalapenos, and Vietnamese mayo served with potato or shrimp chips ($13). This was a good sandwich and very filling. I'm not an expert on Bánh Mì but I really enjoyed the flavor combinations, especially the pickled vegetables and the mayo was a nice touch. read more

They are also running a lunch special at gatherall, where the stands offer $10 specials. Phat Banh Mi's is a papaya salad and half a banh mi. I went here for a Yelp event about two months back and absolutely loved their food! Im completely infatuated with their mango fruit tea and summer rolls! I've had a lot of summer rolls in my life and I think these have to be the best I've had! The service here is top tier! They have both one on one customer service and device ordering services in person! All the staff is super friendly and personable. As for the ambiance, it's usually a pretty medium-high volume place because it's in a food court setting. It isn't so loud that you can't take with others, but it can be difficult if you're hard of hearing. Overall, Phat Bahn Mi is a paragon of customer service and has phenomenal bahn mi! read more

The food at Phat Banh Mi is QUALITY and DELICIOUS. I have tried so many of their items and love them all, but was especially impressed by the crab rangoon and lemongrass chicken banh mi. No clue what they do different to make their crab rangoon so superior to others, but it really is. It does have far more filling than usual and a great balance of flavors. The lemongrass chicken banh me is *chef's kiss*. The chicken is tender and flavorful and there is the perfect amount for the sandwich. The mayo is so good and all of the flavors come together perfectly. The also have several bubble and fruit tea options. Phat Banh Mi is located in the Gatherall, which can get kind of noisy as it is so popular, but it is definitely still worth it. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. read more

Stopped in to try my first ever bubble tea while walking around Factory 52. The worker was so friendly and helpful in explaining bubble tea to me and the many different flavors and options. The spring rolls: they unwrapped them from plastic. The sauce was very nice and helped to make up for the relative lack of flavor of the rolls. No strong fresh basil nor mint came through. Phat Banh Mi has excellent food and a variety of Bahn Mi sandwiches ranging from lemongrass pork (see image), beef, tofu, and a few other proteins. The service is quick and they text you when it's ready. I definitely recommend trying this if you're looking for an introduction to Vietnamese food. Just my two cents: is this a true authentic Viet Bahn Mi? Maybe not to some but I worked for a Viet restaurant, the owner was Viet, and used his Moms recipes, which set my own standard for what I like in Vietnamese food (Pho, bun noodle, Hu Tieu, nouc mam, etc). Now, my critique of the Bahn mi is that I prefer a crispy baguette (instead of a hoagie bun), more cilantro, and pate. I think mayo was used instead of Pate which tones back on the flavor. However, don't let my particularity discourage you from trying this sandwich, it's worth a try!
