Terrible experience! Customers are proud to yell racist remarks across the bar. Will never go back.

They have an arcade upstairs that kept the kids entertained for a bit. The funds go quickly in this arcade though! The food was good. I ordered their Friday special, a 3 piece fish fry. It was delicious! The batter was very crispy and the fish was a good size! I ordered their Cajun fries and it was delicious. My husband ordered their shrimp and steak fajitas. It came out sizzling and smelling sooo good! The steak was tender and delicious but the shrimp was a bit rubbery.

Our awesome server Beatriz continued this theme throughout the night. Very kind and very helpful to the entire 14 person group. She went out of her way to make sure the event was catered to our kid. Additionally took care of a minor food issue and brought back a whole new order when we just needed a new bun. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portions of the food. We had a large group so gratuity was included which is no issue; however, I really appreciate Beatriz pointing that out without prompting so I didn't double tip. The arcade upstairs had some issues like games charging you and not actually allowing you to play but the entire staff resolved it quickly on the spot. In the end, it was a wonderful experience and I will likely revisit next time I'm in Milwaukee. Food-wise: my entire family pretty much had burgers and enjoyed them. I had the bacon jam and I recommend. Appetizer sampler was also a good way to taste the menu.

Parking was plentiful on the street. Venue seems to be a wine bar with an open kitchen. Opted for a table with a view of the open kitchen. Staff throughout the evening was excellent. Started off with the seared Maitake Mushroom and it was tasty. It was served over a bed of aioli and topped with some cilantro. The venison was a special and requested medium rare. It came out towards a medium. Venison tends to be extremely lean. This dish was served perfectly with beets and squash. Ended the meal with a dark chocolate pie which was also excellent. Presentation was fantastic and the pie was super fresh. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing! $79/head after tax, gratuity and 3% credit card surcharge

It's a great environment with a lot of good drink options. I always opt for the Parker rolls which are tasty but again expensive for the amount you get, I typically order the trout (which until coming here I didn't realize was essentially the same as salmon). It's very good and the potato pancake is a nice touch. Over my visits I've also enjoyed trying the short rib gnocchi, butter chicken, and brussels. They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

There was no one in there. We were the only customers. Very talkative guy. We didn't know what to expect so we took a minute reviewing the menu. We went ahead and ordered two turkey sandwiches. Options for bread are white wheat or rye. Other than that, we were only asked if mayo, lettuce and tomato were OK. Gus is very friendly saying we are going to love it!!! So we sat down the sandwiches came out freshly done. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in building his sandwiches. My boyfriend really enjoyed his sandwich. It's exactly what he was looking for. For my personal review I wouldn't really say this is my favorite. It was just regular white bread stacked high with three slices of cheese, a ton of lettuce and a stack of turkey. Way too big for me. I would've preferred sourdough bread maybe some pickles and toasted? Maybe some avocado and other add on options so that you can build your sandwich..... And of course a lighter sandwich. I definitely had to take the other half to go, but I wasn't really impressed. To be quite honest i could have just made a regular sandwich at home just like this. There wasn't anything special. I wouldn't spend my money on something that I could make at home. For any of those that enjoy just basic sandwiches like this i would say this should be your to go spot to help support the owners. Hours are short so you have to make sure you make your way early. Again, I'm not taking away from the fact that this is a great lunch spot and the owners deserve all the praise and business. You can tell they genuinely care. There is plenty of seating in here. Also, while other comments were made, Gus, definitely thanks you for your business quite a few times too.

But once you know where it is, it's easy to find and worth it. I went in during lunch one day and it was quiet. The hours are limited, as they close early afternoon. I had a great conversation with the owners and cook, Gus, and his lovely wife behind the counter. I ordered the lamb gyro plate with the french fries - and Gus said, you can get fries anywhere, try my rice! And so he served up the rice and asked me to try it right then and there. I asked for my feta on the side, and again he was insistent I try it then. The portions are gigantic - it was enough for at least 2 meals. We talked about his background in ethnic cooking. I was impressed they opened up around the time Covid-19 was raging and they've managed to stay in business despite opening up during a difficult time. The food was good, the portions are generous, making it a good value for the money, I enjoyed meeting the proprietors, and I'm looking forward to returning and trying out some of his soups and other lunch items.
