Check in at the hostess station. You are asked crabs or no crabs to determine where you sit…read more The restaurant is very large with various seating arrangements including outdoors. Leah provided very good and friendly service. Would return but not run back, as it was about a 45 to 60 minutes drive. Food surf and turf burger with crab dip and meat was different but good. Burger was well done, ordered medium rare. Shrimp tacos were also good.

We decided to go to Suicide on Friday evening before attending a marriage conference at the Hyatt…read more We got there pretty early around 4pm. It was quiet and empty. We were seated right away. Our waitress Holly was attentive and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the Suicide Oysters and I ordered the Casino Clams for appetizers. I did not try his but mine were so small I had trouble finding the clam, and they smelled so much like feet. I think I had a different idea of Casino Clams, I was very disappointed. He also said his was nothing to write home about. I ordered the Delmonico Steak, he ordered the filet and we each added a lobster tail. Our steaks were wonderful. Cooked and seasoned perfectly - I'm still thinking about it haha! Our lobster tails on the other hand were so overcooked we had to basically swallow them whole. I ordered the potato of the day which was crazy potato's and the vegetable of the day which was kale -- both of those were ultimately great. Before we got our check we heard the waitress taking care of the table behind us mention dessert -- an eclair to be exact and I convinced my husband to get one -- it was either going to be really good or really bad judging by our experience. I wish I could tell you it was the most fabulous eclair I'd ever had and it made up for the $40 worth of terrible appetizers but that would be a lie :( It was huge, but it was frozen! I took it home to let it thaw out and the chocolate on top was still so thick 6hours later that I couldn't even bite into it. I had to flip it around and eat it with a fork on the side with the pastry. We expected so much more from this restaurant especially for what we paid. I'm not sure we have ever spent that much money at any restaurant for just the two of us EVER. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of my food, I didn't plan to leave a review!

Overflow Cafe - I got the most expensive sandwich, the Overflow Club, with pasta salad and a sweet tea all for about $9!

Overflow Cafe is 1 of my 20 favorite non-chain restaurants…read more This is one of the many local restaurants that I love for the concept but a lot more than that. The place is a ministry of sorts, as it's like the food version of a Christian Store, but less Bible thumpy, or as a paraphrase of their slogan says, "spreading the gospel through hospitality and love." How is this relevant to someone who doesn't want to go to a Christian restaurant? Very! You'll see Christian decor, and the "owner" (he hates titles, but he DID found the place) is a reverend, but they won't be preaching to you unless you ask of it. The best part restaurant-wise is that almost all funds for the place come from church offering, and the workers are volunteers, so you are basically paying for the food and nothing else. In other words, the food is worth half of what you're paying for! I got the most expensive sandwich, the Overflow Club, with pasta salad and a sweet tea all for about $9! On top of that, although a smaller server than I'd like (I got 2 of those cups) the pasta salad was the best pasta salad I've had in a while. While all surrounding restaurants will charge at least twice the price, Overflow Cafe supports the neighborhood with many different phenomenal events, cheaper price, and fantastic hospitality not ot mention great art! If you ever in Cambridge, go to 400 Muir Street for this experience. It's only coincidental that my journal (to the right of the table) is very fitting for this place haha.

This place is very quaint and comfortable, the food is delicious and for the price it's unbeatable…read more Friendly staff and will hit the spot every time. We love it!

I can't wait to return. Make a reservation well in advance and maybe make two because you'll enjoy…read moreit so much. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - the bread, oysters, cucumber salad, scallops, fries, rigatoni, and two desserts. Everything was incredible - creative yet comprehensible and decent portions for a more expensive restaurant. If you go during the 4-6pm window you'll have access to happy hour with discounted house wines and a few dishes. Jordan was our server and was great at convincing us to try certain things that later became an obsession (cucumber salad). Great lighting, lots of bench seating, and quick service. I'd go out of my way to eat here again and would recommend everything on the menu!

We had a terrific dinner at Ruse in St. Michaels. We had been staying at the hotel and enjoying…read morebreakfast there for a couple of days, but dinner was really the highlight. The seafood was excellent. We loved the oysters and the tuna sushi that you roll yourself--it was fun and delicious. The potato chips with Iberian ham and manchego were incredible and one of the most memorable bites of the night. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The desserts were also fantastic. The labneh ice cream was completely out of this world, and the olive oil cake was excellent as well. A couple of small notes: the endive salad wasn't our favorite because it was covered in onions, which wasn't mentioned and unfortunately I really dislike onions. Also, the pork chop tasted amazing but we did notice toward the end that part of it was a bit undercooked. That said, overall the meal was excellent and we had a really great time. Definitely a memorable dining experience in St. Michaels.
