    Doremi room rates

Service: The service was great, Doremi made it their mission to make us as customer comfortable. I had a larger party come in (less then 20)I called and reserved a extra large room which the rates were not clear online but I took a picture of the rates. I would recommend to call ahead to ensure you can get a room. Fair tip is to clarify everything when calling ahead for a larger party, Doremi has drinks there but they are individual 12 oz bottles, if that is not sufficient you may call ahead and identify what Non-alcoholic beverages that will be brought. They will be more then fine with it! (Food is also available to be purchased from the neighboring restaurant) Experience: My group and I had a blast!! We reserved the room for two hours and the time just flew! Our extra large room had 2 mics and was quite spacious. The extra large room included super comfy couches, and great lighting. Everyone was nervous to sing, but as soon as the ball gets rolling the fun doesn't stop! Price: Extra large room was reasonably priced, as long as you spilt the room price with your friends the room is quite inexpensive. Final thoughts: Personally I don't give 5 stars to a location that I have only been to once but this location deserves the rating. 10/10 would recommend coming to this location, just be clear with the Doremi staff when making reservations that is all they ask for.

They don't answer the phone. This can be frustrating. They seem pretty busy. Hopefully the experience in-person is a more enjoyable one.

Alcohol is mildly overpriced, but that's pretty normal. Rooms were clean, extensive song options, and they let us bring our own cake!!

Ask the Community - Doremi Karaoke

Are the songs that are in English mostly recent songs, or do they have a decent selection of songs from the '70s, '80s and '90s? Considering going, but the crowd I'll be with will be mostly people in their 40s and 50s.

There should be plenty of songs. Mainstream songs from the past greatly outweighs songs of today. Be direct in asking the staff how to figure out using the controls. Have fun!

He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is there every step of the way. He was willing to do whatever it took for us to have an amazing night. He truly cares about his couples and wants them to have a stress free, fantastic night. When Covid hit, George was very good at letting us know what was going on, and he was very flexible about moving our date with no charge. Despite the new rules, it was still the magical night I always imagined. Jana was our coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing as well. She made sure we didn't have to worry about anything the entire night. If she saw us or our parents without a drink, she made sure to ask if we needed anything. She even jokingly reprimanded me when I tried helping clean up at the end of the night. We had SO many compliments on the food and the GEORGOUS venue. George took advantage of the pandemic lockdown and people postponing their weddings in order to make a beautiful venue 10X more beautiful. The up lights, dance lights and the dry ice fog were amazing. The price George charges is definitely a steal for how beautiful the venue is and the quality of service you get.

I was here for the Eagan Indoor Market (select Wednesdays) being held in one of the gathering rooms on the lower level. It was a bit smaller than I'd been anticipating from the list of vendors on the website, but it was still nice to browse local small businesses, and I'm glad the community center makes the time and space for folks to do so. While there, I scoped out what appeared to be the "main attraction" so to speak, the fitness center, which has a large gymnasium, equipment, and an indoor track. They had plenty of showers, bathrooms, water fountain/bottle refill station, coat racks, vending machines with beverages and snacks, and a place to get changed and such. Seems really nice, but the pricing online seemed a bit steep to me ($40/mo.); a shame, my husband and I have been looking for an indoor track so we can run in the winter without worrying about slipping on the ice! There's also an indoor kids playplace ($8 fee) on the upper level and a senior center on the lower level. So they are trying to cater to all ages here. The parking lot is quite sizable, so no worries about finding a place to park (unless of course there's a big event going on at the festival grounds!). There are plenty of outdoor amenities in the surrounding Eagan Central Park too, such as a kid's playground, splash pad, fitness course, walking paths, and bandshell. There's also a postbox near the entrance of the building if you need to drop off some mail while you're here.

Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhappy to be there, and it took 28 minutes per drink, which is simply unacceptable. The bar was extremely understaffed, and the gentleman bartending that evening was very rude, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. (Dec 16th) While we truly enjoyed spending time with friends, it was clear the venue was not prepared for an event of this magnitude. There was no clear flow or guidance for guests, and many people were confused about how the experience was supposed to work. You were yelled at by the bartender if you stood next to the bar to get a drink. To make matters worse, the cost was extremely high - about $150 per couple for just a couple of drinks and a wood-fired pizza. For that price point, expectations are understandably much higher. Beautiful space, disappointing execution. With better staffing, training, and organization, this could be a great holiday destination-but as it stands, it fell short.

This is a smart use of space buried within the Mall of America and more specifically, within the…read moreNickelodeon Theme Park. It benefits from the mall offerings for food and entertainment if your meeting crosses the lunch hour. From a mall planning perspective, it was space that was not really in use for much so why not turn it into something useable and revenue generating? It is a nice, modern, bright space that has good AV capability and space for about 150 people comfortably. Given that, it meets the basic requirements for holding a meeting/conference but it has several quirky things that limit its utility. Being within a busy mall, parking can be an issue especially if your meeting is occurring on a day when the mall traffic is expected to be heavy. The closest parking ramp is the one between Macy's and Nordstrom's. Use the first floor West Entrance, walk straight ahead into the theme park and it is to your right 1 flight of stairs up. It sounds easier than it is, especially if the parking ramp is full, you may end up parking in a totally different area resulting in you being quite a ways away. I do notice that in this particular parking ramp, there are reserved spaces for almost every other type of venue except the conference center. (There are reserved spaces for package pickup, Uber pickup, medical clinic use, etc. but no reserved spaces for the conference center.) This can limit its ease of accessibility. Another odd quirk is that the conference room itself is an odd "L" shape which limits sight lines when in the audience. The room accommodates for this by putting large video screens on the side walls so that the content can be seen by everyone in the room so that is a unique way to deal with the visual obstacles in the room but the overall feel of the room is that it is somewhat broken up because if you sit deep in 1 end of the "L", you cannot see the other side. Another oddity that is quite entertaining but is actually a distraction is that the entry to the conference room (which is the back of the conference room) is floor to ceiling glass. This gives the speaker a commanding view of the theme park and contributes to the brightness and airy feeling of the space. However, as a speaker, you are acutely aware of every roller coaster that roars by because they do so about 10 feet outside the windows. Very thrilling and entertaining but also quite distracting as it occurs every 3-4 minutes. Finally, the noise level from the theme park is loud. The entry/exit is not protected with a double door or some type of entryway receiving room so the doors are the only thing that stand between the actual conference room and the theme park. This means that if anyone comes in or leaves during the middle of a presentation, the full sound and kiddy screams from the rides enters the meeting. Not cool as the audience then can't hear what the speaker is saying and the speaker has an immediate distraction during their talk (not to mention that it pretty much outs anyone trying to enter or exit quietly in the middle of the presentation). Overall, I really like the space and some aspects of the concept but it needs to fix the parking and sound issues for sure if it wants to be considered as a seriously desirable space for large meetings and conferences.
