This is a fun place with lots of food options and a great vibe! When you check in you'll get a card that works at all the vendors and at the beer/wine/seltzer bar and at the end of your visit you can check out or drop your card in one of the drop boxes and your credit card will get charged. The cards can hold up to 10 people if you want to split your bill. So many tasty food options that you'll want to go back multiple times. Parking - there's a small lot on the front side with regular and accessible spots and lots of spots on the back side. I'll definitely go back.

This place has a little bit of everything. It is like a grown up cafeteria with different restaurants throughout. It is bustling and loud so if you like people this is it. The food and drink options are cool. The sushi roll was top notch

Good choices of beer and nice selection of food to pair with said libations. Wide open dining. Private rooms available for events.

Such a fun experience! Perfect market for large groups, celebrations, or a casual night out. Lots of free parking a city location! First, you need to pick up a card from the check-in booth, which opens your tab for the evening. So many awesome food stalls to choose from, delicious empanadas, grain bowls, pizza, burgers, chicken tenders, dumplings, and award winning ice cream! Beer, cider, and wine on tap, and you can pay by the ounce which is so convenient! The staff are very friendly and quick when cleaning up. Fabulous evening out!

I love a good food hall! I've been to Malcolm Yards years ago and I see that they've had some turnover since I last visited. I met up with a group of my cousins right as it opened and it's nice because they have a big parking lot in the back and everyone can get what they want. I went to WSK, Bebe Zito & Boxcar bar for a drink. My cousins visited some of the other booths. The food was good overall. They do use a card system where you have to link a card to a market card and then when you leave you drop it in a box or you can close out. There's plenty of seating. They keep the tables clean! Overall we had a great experience.

Planning a friend's night out or need a meet-up spot with lots of options for picky eaters...this is the spot for you! Plenty of parking available in the gravel lot out back! When you arrive, you get ID'd and connect your credit card to a Malcolm Yards card that you can use at all the food and drinks spots within Malcolm Yards! They have staff around that help with clean up, answer questions, and pour beer at the tap wall. For alcohol, there is a tap wall where you can pour your own beer and wine! They also have a full bar available! There are 6-7 different food vendors that offer a wide variety of options so everyone can find something they enjoy! This is a frequent spot for us to stop for lunch near campus or a quick bite and drink before catching a Gopher game!

Great experience with counter service and about 50 different cuisines from which to choose! Mexican tacos and quesadillas, Chinese potstickers, Korean, American, pizza, Reuben's (best ever) and ice cream for dessert! If this huge market with ample seating doesn't have it, you don't want it! It's definitely one of my family's go-tos!

Lots of wonderful dining options in a charming repurposed manufacturing plant. Short walk from campus. Nice outdoor seating to eat al fresco weather permitting. Odd set up for checking in and paying, and pay you will as every menu choice is $20 at least. They have their own parking lot. Good choice for college students when parents are visiting and paying.

It's always a good time at Malcom Yards! There is something for everyone here. You check in once you arrive to start your tab. You get a Malcom yards card to scan at the bar or at the vendors to add to your tab. There's a pour your own beer wall or a bar to get beverages to accompany your food selections. There are many good food options to try and new food stands filter in occasionally to add new offerings. There is lots of seating but it gets really packed peak dining times or after gopher games. Despite a large parking lot it can also be difficult to find a spot when the food hall is busy. This just shows how popular this place is! It's worth a try if you are in the area and are looking for a crowd pleaser!

I wanted to check out St. Paul and a food hall in the area, so I figured I'd make the most of it and do both in one trip. It felt pretty pricey for a spot in a food hall--especially considering it was in St. Paul. Not really sure how I feel about it. The food was good, and the portion size was decent too--no complaints there. There were various food stalls, the ones that I ordered from were Momo Dosa, Bebe Zito and Martes Tacos. First time that I tried Bison Momos, the Tres Leches Snickerdoodle which was featured in food network and Animal Frossting ice cream scoops was delicious and the street corn all were unique foods from various food stalls. There's plenty of seating and the vibe was cool too.

Super nice place with a terrific variety of food and drink options, with everything from burgers to deli sandwiches to pizza (excellent) to East Asian, Mexican and ice cream. It was busy when I arrived, but there were still plenty of seating options inside and out. Free parking was also a plus, and thankfully because the bill can add up quickly here. This was its only downside for me, how expensive it can become. I poured myself a 12oz sour and it was over $21. If you added a $30 pizza then you can see the slippery slope. Food was super tasty, though. I would have tried every place there if time allowed. The pour-it-yourself beer wall was nice with a variety of options (stouts, ipas, lagers, sours, etc), and they tell you the price per oz, so you generally know ahead of time what you'll pay. Just an overall great place and experience.

My first time visiting and was really surprised on how large it is. Lots of vendors and alcohol options with the bar and beer wall. Using the "Yard Card" is convenient but the tally surprisingly adds up quickly! We had food from Momo Dosa (Keema Dosa) and Wrecktangle (gluten free crust) Pizza. Food from both vendors took about 20 minutes and they text when order is ready. There was plenty of seating and the staff is really great about cleaning the tables between guests. My biggest issue is the parking situation. Not enough spots. So many cars were circling, and this was a Thursday at 5:30. I can't imagine what the traffic situation is like on a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon.

This is a cool spot. You get a card and then pour your own taps and wines. There is a bar where you can get fancier cocktails as well. There are tons of food choices so everyone can find something to enjoy. I can't speak to the food, as we just had drinks, but I look forward to coming back! There is plenty of seating and parking, even on a busy Friday night. The prices are steep ($10 for 4 oz. Of wine) and the music was too loud inside, which made it hard to talk to people. Overall, this was a good experience.

I have had Korean BBQ here before as well and honestly I thought it was pretty decent. I ordered the bibimbap and it was very sloppily made with not enough ingredients. I used a good amount of gochujang for flavor which was normal but even the vegetables included in the original bowl were very plain. The japchae was pretty good as the vermicelli noodles were very flavorful. I would've preferred to see some more bell pepper pieces in it, though. My partner got the salmon roe nigiri, the agedashi tofu, and the soft tofu stew. They thought those dishes were pretty good. The agedashi tofu specifically, however, was a bit too soft in terms of its outer skin. I don't think this establishment would be one that I'd choose to visit if I am to bring friends to either Korean or Japanese food places in the Twin Cities, and it seems like others agree according to their reviews.

Plenty of tables available and lots of parking on the street. The place was pretty full by the time we left. The restaurant is huge with a good ambiance. Clean and not too loud. Bathrooms are a small journey to get to. They are shared bathrooms and on the lower level. Staff were attentive and kind. There was a call button on our table, but we never needed it. If you opt for AYCE, you mark your choices on a sheet of paper. You're given some marinated tofu, broccoli, tofu, kimchi, sprouts, greens to begin with. We ordered beef bulgogi, spicy pork, pork belly, and brisket. I probably could have done without the brisket or pork belly. Brisket dried out super fast and the pork belly was a little too fatty. Also ordered gyoza, fried rice, black bean noodles, seaweed salad, and a shrimp tempura roll. All were delicious, but we ended up with far too much food for just two people. At the end we were given ice cream. It was individually wrapped so we took it to go since we were so full. I'd definitely return again in the future!

Today, I got the honey walnut shrimp, which is DELICIOUS and absolutely worth the up-charge ($1.35). I also got the orange chicken, which is simply a classic! Paired with half lo mein, half fried rice, this combination is always one of my favorites! The line here can get super long right at noon, but if you come before noon or around 1, the line is very reasonable. The employees are friendly and I'm always left wanting to come back. Also, as far as payment goes, you can use Flexdine, cash, or card, which I find convenient regardless if you're a student, faculty, staff, or a visitor.

They offer anything from a side or entree by itself to a bowl (one side, one entree), a plate (one side, two entrees), or a bigger plate (one side, three entrees). Some of the entrees are a dollar extra, so make sure to ask which ones are when you get up (I know Honey Walnut Shrimp is one, for example). While I generally love Panda, this location is a bit lower on standards for a few reasons. 1. They don't offer for you to try any samples, and when you ask to try one, they seem to act like it's a big hassle for them. It just puts me off more than anything. 2. Their portions are about 20% smaller than other locations I've been to. Not as much on either of their sides or entrees. 3. The lines are soooo long at this Coffman location. But as I have said in other reviews, Tapingo is great to use. Just download the app, link a payment method in, and order your food to pick up in 5-10 minutes. If you were to come to this Panda Express, you would order your food at the dining restaurant, and then grab your drinks or any other food in the cafeteria, and finally pay up front for it all together. Also, they don't give you fortune cookies at the end of the line-you have to get it when you get up to the counter! (On the left side of the counter where they serve you your sides). One other downside to this location is you can't use the free entree coupon on the back of Panda express' receipts at this location.
