Walked in for a drink, and bartender barked at us that it was over an hour wait for food. Which I wasn't even there for in the first place.......and she was not friendly in the way she said it. Then I got my beer, a tap Stella, it was warm......not just not cold.....it was pretty much room temperature and tasted rancid. Tucker's has had a major overhaul in recent years. The food has vastly improved. They make great pizza and their pot stickers with kogi sauce are addictive. My only advice: the employees they have are wonderful, but they are often understaffed. I suspect they are having a difficult time finding reliable help, like many businesses right now. I've been coming to this place for over 10yrs now and have never been let down. Sure,the service has suffered from lack of available labor the last few years but the food and atmosphere has been great. Customers need to be patient and mindful of the situation the last few years. The owner is usually cooking if you don't see him(or her) there. I'll keep coming for sure! read more

Terrible service! From the moment we walked in we were treated as a bother to the waitress (McKennzie I believe). Food is okay, won't spend money here again. We played pull tabs only to be told rudely they don't pay out the change of winnings.. not a big deal at $.75, but frustrating for them to pocket that from every player if even legal to do so? This place could be a goldmine... obviously owners don't know how to run a business. Every time my husband and I have been here there are NOT enough employees... we wait over an hour for our food.. and drinks are like drinking pop. I feel bad for the cooks (who by the way are way too young and don't know what they are doing in a busy atmosphere like this) you'd think when it's a sports bar they would have extra help on a Friday night and timberwolves playoff game ????? People are getting up and leaving... because not being waited on... this totally on the owners... they are setting the staff up for failure. Just be aware that prices on menu may not apply to your final charges. Owner says he has sign by cash register indicating that prices on menu may not be what you are charged. Who goes to the cash register when you enter a restaurant. Says he doesn't have time to change menus everytime he changes prices - up or down. Poor business model. read more

Stopped here and we were nervous based on the other yelp review, but we were pleasantly surprised with wonderful service and food. Our family had a really delicious taco flatbread pizza, wings, BLT and nicely poured, stiff drinks. I do not have any complaints on any of those items. We appreciate good food and this was good food for a bar in a small town. Zero complaints. Ignore the other reviews and try this place out! read more

I don't know who owns Tuckers now but shame on them! Long holiday weekend and they only had 2 young boys working. We arrived at 6:40pm Sunday night and was told it would be at least an hour for our food. We received our food at 9:00 pm and the restaurant was under half full. Sounds like this is normal service while visiting with others that night. No bartender so the boys could barely keep up but did a great job! The food was great but I have to believe that the owners know the poor service they are providing and should be in the restaurant helping these young people. Could be a great restaurant! read more

Poor bartender/waitress/busgirl was all by herself on a Friday afternoon at lunch time. She was running and had no help. No help whatsoever. I know times are tough finding help. I guess if this was my business I would of been there helping her. Especially on a summer Friday afternoon. I watched four tables walk out due to not being able to get their food in a timely matter. Terrible service. We stopped at Tuckers on Saturday after 1:30pm. We waited for 15 minutes before someone acknowledged we were there and finally came to take our drink order. We order 3 different flavors of sodas, and all 3 came very flat. We politely asked our waitress to check if there was something wrong with the Co2 and if we could get new sodas. She never came back, nor did it look like she really check on it. Our food came and still no replaced sodas so we asked for 3 waters instead and ask the waitress to take the sodas away. We weren't going to drink flat soda that tasted awful especially when they didn't try to replace them or apologize for the issue they had. In all, we were charged for the sodas and asked them to comp the sodas after we asked them to check on the Co2 or to give us replacements. Then a different waitress comes to us very apologetic that the Owners will not allow them to comp the sodas. We were polite through our entire experience but were not treated well with the service. I know it's just soda, but it makes a difference when small issues are not fixed after asking multiple times to check or replace our sodas and then still getting charged for it! Plus it's a very bad look when you send in another waitress to deal with an issue she had no part in, or that the manager/owner didn't take care of it either. It's just sad. read more

Got there around 5:30 and there was only one other table. Service was great probably because not many other customers. We got our appetizer fast and our food not long after. The place was starting to fill up as we were leaving so I could see staffing being an issue. Our experience was awesome and I would recommend checking it out possibly getting there before peak times. read more

this place used to be half way decent service and good food and cold beer. this is the last time I ever come here. it's been 45 minutes on a saturday late afternoon and we dont even have our appetizers. a rude waitress started the night by telling us they dont sell pitchers (we had some this summer here despite the rude waitress telling us it's been 2 years and she has NEVER served pitchers) and they won't do half and half pizzas. I got attitude when asking about our 45 minute appetizers. just got a half baked apology while writing this review. do yourself a favor and never come here with the expectation of food. coming here for just a beer? you'll probably survive. coming here for dinner after a day of working on your lake house or a day on the lake? forget it. it's sad because I used to love tuckers and the fun atmosphere and all the purple (#skol) but an hour for food that takes 4 minutes to cook when you drop it in a fryer? this is just appetizers- who knows the restaurant might be closed by the time my dinner is cooked. also they've been playing metal in the background at a too loud for comfortable conversation volume, but that's driving my mother in law crazier than me. update: finally got our appetizers! only an hour! ‍ read more

We arrived at about 8pm on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. Our first choice was Fischer's corner bar, but it was closed. It was to late to drive down to "The Landing" in Madison Lake, so we gave Tucker's a try. Our chief complaint was service, even though the 2 wait people on duty for about 30 people were courteous and doing their absolute best to get to everyone. When we sat down, we waited about 15 minutes before someone took our drink order. While we were waiting we had our phones out and were looking for alternatives. Because it was after 8pm we decided any food was better than none and stayed. My beer came in a plastic cup just like they do at a college or underage drinking party (not a good sign). The food was acceptable. We both had burgers. Not fresh (started as a frozen patty). Not bad though. I had onion rings and my wife had fries. Nothing special, but both were good. It's a shame the management doesn't staff properly. No bartender. The two women waiting tables also served drinks at the bar. I've never seen this work well and it doesn't here either. If the service was better this place would rate better. The extended wait to be served at the bar and the average food makes this a last resort restaurant for us. With any luck, we won't be back. read more

We used to love Tucker's. Last time we tried to go, they were closed due to no staff. Tonight we thought we would give them another try. They were busy and only had a few people working so we were prepared to wait. Had to eventually flag down the waitress and ask if she was our waitress. The blank stare should have been our first clue to just leave. She took our order and never came back with our drinks. we are watching other tables get waited on and drinks and food delivered. Half hour later the bartender comes over and asks if she can take our order. We explain that we already ordered drinks, appetizers and food but have not seen any of it. The bartender comes back with our drinks and says sorry about that but the good thing is she got your order in. Over an hour later when we see apps going to tables that clearly came in after us, we asked the original girl why they were getting food and we weren't. She replied, I don't know, I'm just a runner. Huh? You took our order and have been making drinks and waiting on other tables. She then comes back and proceeds to tell us the kitchen never got our order. She entered it, but it didn't go back to them. Our party of 8 decided that was enough. As we are leaving one of our friends said, you know we are all leaving. The bartender says ya and shrugs her shoulders. It's not that big of a place! What a horrible way to run a business. We also saw no less than 6 tables of people walk out after sitting down, waiting and not having a server ever go to their table. They lost several hundred dollars tonight just while we were there. Such a shame because we have been going there for a few years and really liked it. They also keep deleting negative reviews off their Facebook page. Never again. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. read more

Order wings to go for a Vikes game a few weeks ago. Our order wasn't ready when they told us it would. Ordered a dozen traditional wings Thai chili. Also ordered boneless. They don't have half dozen. Their minimum order is 10 which was too many. However when we got home the boneless wings were dry with a tiny dipping container of Thai chili! Really?? Who serves dry wings? Not enough sauce for 10 wings. Our order was $25! Plus they have no menu online. I'll never order from this place again!! read more

Two times; terrible! First time ordered a side salad and a grilled chicken breast and was charged $10. Second time the flatbread never came which was one of two items at the table that was ordered. Waitress told us the cook forgot to put the flatbread in the oven. We were warned before going the second time and we decided to give them a second chance. DO NOT GIVE THEM A FIRST!! read more
