Very well established in the Kelowna / Vernon area this Greek Taverna recently moved to this new location, a huge and spacious dinning area with Greek design elements throughout ... there are lots of free customer parking as well! We have been to their Kelowna location ( this is still in operation ) and was blown away with their authentic Greek specialities!! Since we are visiting Vernon from Vancouver, we are excited to try out their new location! As expected the food here is just as good and service is also super friendly! Dec 17/25 Had supper here. Very pleasantly surprised. My husband is fussy and he gave it his stamp of approval. Nice, warm atmosphere. Friendly, prompt service. We ordered the Greek platter for two. Excellent Greek food, nothing surprising on the menu (mostly the standard fare) but they do a really good job of it. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant moved from downtown Vernon to Anderson Way opposite Kal Tire and was absolutely full at 7pm - a sign of great food. The restaurant did not disappoint. Huge portions, drool-worthy looking food that tastes like true Greek cuisine. Definately coming back. read more

The food was so great We came in on Valentines without a reservation, however, they sat is at the bar until they could get is to a table which took no time at all. Service was amazing and friendly. Attentive but not overly in your face. Funny amd laughing with us a nice treat to see happy people at a resteraunt. Ambiance was perfect. Recommend the muscles to start and the chefs special. Stepping into this restaurant was like stepping into a scene right in Greece. I got the spanakopita entre. The meal was filling for me, but might not be enough for someone with a bigger appetite. The meals in general weren't on the larger side, but a good size for the the quality. We also noticed that the lunch menu and dinner menu pricing were different, although the meals were similar. My only complaint would be that service wasn't very prompt - we had to wait a while for menus and later for the bills. read more

I have never been to Vernon BC before and my girlfriend and I wanted to stop and eat at one of the local restaurants. We walked around and found Dorian's Greek Taverna. We walked in to check it out and it was really nice! It is definitely one of those nice little restaurants with a great vibe and a good place to go on a nice dinner date. The service is great! Our server was talkative but knew when it was time to leave you alone (which is important for me!) and our drinks never stayed empty for more than a minute! We had the lasagna and some ribs, and the food was reaaalllly good! The portions are bigger so make sure your hungry! And we got some bread with Taziki sauce and the bread was nice and fresh! Nothing worse than getting dry flakey bread! Overall great place! If you're in Vernon BC def check it out! read more

I ordered for delivery and was charged $7 for delivery and $2 for credit card processing. When I called the restaurant I was told that it's because they use a different company for delivery and they have nothing to do with this, which only infuriated me. There is NO mention of a delivery fee, neither that they use a different company. A person named Shelly who claimed to be the owner kept trying to justify herself saying that she doesn't advertise free delivery, that no-one else in town offers free delivery except for Chinese restaurant (NOT TRUE, plenty offer free delivery) etc...This is not how it works. This is misrepresentation and shitty customer service. Even if I liked the food, I will never order from them based on how they treated me. read more

We stopped at Dorians for Lunch today... The decore is typically Greek...Very relaxing and comfortable! The Staff is friendly and accomodating... We hadn't been there before, so we ordered the Lunch Special...It was a hard decision between Chicken and Prawns, or Baby Back Ribs with Calamari... Both dishes looked excellent! We decided to go with the Baby Back Ribs with Calamari... The food arrived promptly, and their Calamari is superb! We have dined all over the Okanagan Valley, and have had several renditions of Calamari... mostly as tasty and chewy as Rubber Bands.... Or cooked to soot...like little Hockey Pucks... Dorians is THE place to get your Calamari done to perfection...The Baby Back Ribs were also unbeatable! The whole meal was incredible from start to finish...And it was hard to finish because of the generous portions! The plate was also briming with a delicious Greek Salad... Pita, and Rice... I was told they will take several "special" dishes, and make a big Greek Platter... We will return!! read more

Excellent Greek Food with excellent service. We were a table of 8, but everything was served efficiently, the food was hot and to everyone's order. One of us was Gluten free, 2 shared a dinner that was divided nicely on 2 separate plates, and the correct wine glasses were delivered to the people who wanted either white or red. I have never enjoyed Greek food more. Usually there is more rice and potatoes than meat and vegetables, but the balance at this charming place, was perfect! The flavours were spot on for Greek food. Superb food. We had calamari starter, then Greek ribs and roast lamb. All were great, but the Greek potatoes were the best we've ever had - anywhere. Baklava and coffee made a nice finish to the meal. The service was excellent. read more

My wife and I went here for dinner on a quiet Sunday night in March. There were about six tables occupied. We were greeted by a friendly server who set the tone for service for the evening. We started with the calamari which came in a good-sized portion with a nice tzatziki. My wife had the Greek ribs and I had the lamb shoulder. Service was prompt and the food came out steaming. Both meals were traditionally served with potatoes roasted in oil and lemon, fluffy rice and fresh Greek salad. Everything was tasty and well prepared. A friendly, family style Greek restaurant that we will visit again. Opa! read more

Food is traditional! The lunch specials are usually well made... But they are usually never open for Lunch...Once or 2X a week, maybe... My husband and I eat out at Lunchtime, and we miss this restaurant not opening for Lunch...Hope it changes, the food is great!! read more

Excellent Greek Food!! We ordered the Roast Lamb, it was as tender as butter, fall off the bone and so delicious! You didn't need a knife. The Rice Pilaf was moist and full of flavour and flecked with veggies, the Greek Salad was yummy it had a great dressing and lots of lovely fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and Greek Olives. The Pita Bread was very nice and the Tzatziki was creamy and tasty. This was home made, fresh quality food. We had the Crispy Shrimp as an Appetizer, which we shared. very generous portion, we received a dozen prawns and the coating was very delicious, the dip was a yummy tomato salsa. We each had a glass of Shiraz with the Lamb 9oz for $9, good price The service was excellent, friendly and attentive, very proactive, everything was offered and brought promptly. The ambiance is very cozy and is decorated with lovely colour pictures of Greek Locations. Will be going back soon. Go hungry as portions are large and generous. The restaurant was very full and more people kept coming as people left. It was as full when we left as when we arrived. Our New Favourite Place! read more
