Excellent dental office for a cleaning! PROs: Staff was polite, knowledge, and professional. I got a spot for a cleaning in the same week as the initial call was made. I waited for less then 2 mins once I arrived. My dental tech was very nice and through. She wasn't rushing and did a very good job. I would defiantly come back here. CONs: Parking is a challenge with only 2 assigned parking spots, however military personnel have another open lot across the street for easy access. I recently had a crown fall off for no reason. Dr.Fill's office promptly made me appointment for two days later. Upon my arrival, they took me in almost immediately. I was assigned a dental tech who took care of the entire procedure. They took a x-ray. She cleaned my mouth and the crown. And then did a remount insertion. It's as good as new. Came in for a perio maintenance cleaning as a first time patient based on reviews and recommendations and did not have a good experience. The place seems outdated. The front desk staff was friendly. The room felt like a jail cell- gray walls, no windows. The Hygienist was playing Metallica and I put on all my intake paperwork that I have dental anxiety. As much as I like Metallica I do not want to hear that during a dental procedure. I had to ask him to play something else. During the procedure it was very uncomfortable and took forever. I just wanted it to be over. The dentist came in, barely spoke to me and just told me I needed two fillings in my front teeth which were just coffee stains. I got a second opinion from another dentist in the area and they told me it wasn't necessary. Patient care is everything in dentistry. This just wasn't up to my personal standards. read more

Dr. Fill and her staff are so kind. She is a dentist to three generations in our family. I especially appreciate that she and her staff are so friendly with our teenage sons. One of our sons had a lot of work done which was very troubling to me as a mother, but the staff never made us feel judged and they made sure he felt comfortable and heard throughout the procedure. I was not even able to see Dr Doris Fill, due to the receptionist, Brenda, treating me in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. She informed me that with my dental insurance, Choice Builder, the dental office would "not make any money off of me and I would only be a tax write off." I felt so humiliated and defeated that I immediately left the office and found an alternative dental office to be seen. I had an initial visit several months ago and won't be back. I showed up on time but the paperwork took about 10 minutes. Dentist Fill said she couldn't do the cleaning because i was now causing a wait for her next patient. So i came back the next week. Dentist Fill didn't say a word, cleaned my teeth and left. Unusual behavior for a new customer. Then i went to Brenda and politely asked if I owed anything. She said no because my delta dental hmo plan was like welfare. they pretty much lose money on patients like me. I give them 2 star instead of 1 because there was no up sell of unnecessary products and procedures which has become the industry norm. but moving on from fill. I have not had a good experience from any of the dentists in delta dental hmo either so i'll just go back to paying cash. i'd rather spend the money for a good experience. read more

I saw these reviews and thought wow this will be great. I signed up for my first appointment and spoke to a Brenda on the phone. We scheduled an appointment after she looked me up and told me my first visit will be $42 no matter what. I called back and scheduled an appointment on the phone. I looked at my plan. I noticed I have all these codes to cover a first time visit. I kindly asked what code they would be charging me before the appointment, as I like to know what I am getting charged for, and she said over the phone after I scheduled my appointment there are 8000 plans out there and I don't have the time to argue or talk codes with you sir (when no one was arguing). I will be taking off your first appointment, Brenda replied. I asked her not to please do that. She mentioned that the Costco plan is similar to a welfare plan and it doesn't cover any of their overhead costs as it is a private practice and they couldn't stay in business if they just charged people for covered codes. Brenda also mentioned that is why they only like to see one to two of what she related to Welfare cases "Costco members" a week due to that. Brenda cancelled my 2pm on the phone and hung up on me mid sentence before she even allowed me to come in and show her what codes were covered. If you people at Doris Fill think all us Costco Members, particularly you Brenda, are some sort of welfare cases then stop working with Costco because guess what ... If you are a person shopping at Costco your probably doing better than some welfare case. I will be taking this matter up with Costco and be making sure they are aware of how I was treated before even being seen. read more

WORST DENTIST IN THE CITY. I have never written a yelp review before, but my experience was so traumatizing that I HAD to share my story. I only started seeing Dr. Fill because my dentist is retiring and I needed quite a few fillings done. I was initially impressed by her amount of technology in the office, but technology doesn't matter if the service is less than standard. My first time seeing Dr. Fill was for fillings on only one side of my mouth. She numbed both the top and the bottom, which I knew was standard. After completing my top cavity, she said she was giving me a break. I expected this to last two minutes since my bottom jaw was numb for my remaining two fillings. She left me for THIRTY MINUTES. THIRTY MINUTES. I sat there as my bottom jaw became less numb. I could hear Dr. Fill in the next room laughing with her co-workers. The dental assistant had the audacity to tell me how Dr. Fill just had baby chicks hatch.... So once she returned I had two more numbing shots and couldn't feel my entire face. Three cavities took nearly three hours. I was at maximum discomfort while my doctor was socializing in the middle of my appointment. Fast forward. I had to return for two visits to have a temporary and permanent crown. In the course of these two appointments, I dealt with the most degrading dental assistant (different from the first one) as she talked down to me and was rude, with my own relative in the room watching. This leads me to today. I only needed the other side of my mouth fixed at this point and was scheduled for an hour and a half. I was told this over the phone but interally, I had doubts an hour and a half would be enough time for five cavities. I told Mary at the front desk I would only be doing two of them today and asked for a time estimate as I had a family member giving me a ride. She told me it would be an hour and a half. I called her out and said, how is that possible when I was supposed to be getting five done in that time. She told me I actually had 3-5pm for my appointment, but I politely let her know I did not want to do that since the time before, I was left in the chair unattended for 30 minutes and had to get extra numbing. I walked out of the office as I was extremely frustrated at this point by all the miscommunication and lack of professionalism in this office. Mary followed me outside to ask if we were going to continue with the two. Going to the dentist gives me extreme anxiety already, and I no longer felt comfortable moving forward due to my frustration. Mary continued to tell me that if I did not get my fillings done today, they would NEED TO SEND ME TO A SPECIALIST. I was done. SHE INSTILLED FEAR INTO A PATIENT. The whole office knew the anxiety I had from my root canal and she continued to threaten the possibiltiy of another if I waited two weeks to get them done. She tried telling me I was unprofessional by canceling my appointment and refused to talk to me like an adult. I told her, while I might be 22, I deserve the respect of a 42-year-old patient because I am still paying them for their service. She continued to talk past me and tell me I was the problem. I had genuine problems with the office and as I attempted to share them with her, she cut me off and walked away. This office DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They care about money. I called five other dental offices and their rates were significantly lower. They upcharge for the amount of technology they have. Don't even get me started on Brenda. She is the MOST DEGRADING woman who lacks any respect for others and based on other reviews, she has a hard time making friends. Save your money, emotions, and time and find a dentist that cares. I left the office shaking with anxiety from the way I was treated and not one person apologized. This is not an isolated instance, this is FOUR TIMES I had a negative experience in a row which led me to write this review. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I've always had terrible experiences, I would cry, break out in hives from anxiety, and dread the entire experience for days before and hours afterwards. Dr. Fill is hands down the best dentist! The entire experience, from the receptionist's personality, to the amazing candles and diffusers all over the office, to the music and TV's playing.. it is all so relaxing. They said they will no longer accept the Delta Dental Costco plan. After reading the Yelp reviews in detail I found out that Dr. Fill had done the exact same thing years before.
