This was my first time using a moving service and Leny was patient enough with me to explain in detail the expectations and what to expect on my moving day. My move was going very smoothly in the beginning at my pick up location until my unusually difficult couch was giving the movers some trouble for disassembly. They never gave up and took the time to explain to me what the situation was but they got it done and successfully assembled my couch back together at my new place! Leny was very easy to plan with but at a few times just a tad hard to reach but he never took to long to get back to me and even on the day of the move he apologized for the sometimes less than ideal response-time which was very appreciated by me. I do not think many professionals would have acknowledged the fact like he did himself. I am very happy to have chosen to work with these off duty firefighters. The only reason for not 5 stars is that my mattress was not wrapped nor put in plastic for protection, thankfully it came out clean & unscathed but if asked in advance I would have provided a one time use plastic bag if they do not want to carry their own mattress items. They saved me a lot of stress and time with the move taking only a long morning for both pick up with some disassembly and fully delivery with the same minor reconstruction.

The crew that moved my house kept asking for money to do certain things needed but said they would charge me cheaper and won't tell the company if paid cash to them. Will never use again beware of their lies - you been warned. Update: my credit card company denied the chargeback due to paperwork being signed that I was informed about everything. I just got back the paperwork from them and my signature which I signed one document from the moving foreman was on a packet of paperwork about 20 times for all different things. I never signed any of that and told them so in which they said to stop playing games with them. Moved some things into storage so I could have some free space. They were so nice, worked hard and took care of all of my items, And took the little extra time to make sure everything was secure in their truck. Speaking of their truck - I've never seen a cleaner moving truck and when we were all done after I paid they took the time to organize, fold the moving blankets and remove the tape used on them - it was so organized! Really nice movers that I've already sent to a few friends and will happily use again!

Honestly the experience with them was not good at all. It got to a point that my husband had to start helping them move everything because they were taking forever and a day. They got to our home around 8:45 and ended everything at 3:30 with the help of my husband. He mover in charge said they would be done at 12:45 a 4 hour job and then when 12:45 came he said they were going to take longer. If my husband didn't step in they would have finished at 6 pm.

Very bad experience…read more Movers were 20 minutes late. Then they had no mattress/box spring covers as promised when i got the quote. I had bought some originally when going to move by myself without movers but then wanted to return them since i had to book movers and they were to provide but they didn't have any so had to use my own (extra $20 out or my pocket). I was literally moving just across the street and had only a few things to move --- a bed, 2 bedside tables, dresser, standing desk, 0 boxes bc had moved everything else myself already. Out of those few things they moved- they damaged my wood bedside table (part of a matching set so now can't use both of them) and damaged my bed frame. I have pictures of both the day before with no damage which proves they did the damage to both. Also keep in mind i only used 2 hr of the 4 minimum i had to book with them. So they only had to work half the time and move a few items and still those few items got damaged just from moving them to an apartment building next door. They offered me $60 for the damage, i felt i was owed at least $200 discount but all they would come up to was $100 off. Do NOT recommend. Wish i had just finished my move myself without hiring the movers at all
