I reunited with my mother living at this apartment complex And she indeed loved her place she lived here over 12 years. Her last 3 years her neighbors passed away in the comfort of there home. My mother was friends with them and she cared for them before they passed. And I remember them they were happy in ther apartment. Everybody at this complex were nice and respectful towards each other. They all spoiled my son. Instead of meeting 1 new Grandma. My son thought he had several. The maintenance man especially Nick was always helpful and attentive to my mother's needs. My mother and the Golden girls have passed. They are all together watching me piss off Jean this property Manager! And giggling... My mother was crazy and Jean is Krazy too! A little old white woman with a Newyork accent and a Black Soul! I see why people respect her. She keeps a tight shift! And sees everything on her property. And is not afraid to address you anyway she feels. She protects her property, respects her tenants and follows the RULES! I just want her to know before we have it out again that I see her and I understand that business is business still. I believe she is a good Manager. And I thank her for allowing me to take the time I need to move my mother's property out. Yes it took a bit longer I didn't know my son wanted Grandma's Bed. And I didn't know she had so much little stuff that brought up memories not all good but definitely not all bad. But during this crisis time I'm going through I wanted to say this apartment complex is Amazing and it's because of the team and spirit you have Jean. Thank you for taking care of my people's! ..I'm sorry it took me so long to move her property. But I promised you I was not taking over! You got 13 years of cleaning and upgrading this unit! And you have to let her soul leave! Tell your legal team! I'm an old disabled senior citizen with an autistic son who can't step foot back inside to help me because he was here when she passed. My husband and I really enjoyed living at this apartment complex! We lived here for 8 years and always felt safe. This gave us a lot of peace of mind since we have 2 kids. The location is super convenient -- close to the freeway and downtown Sac -- and the area is well-kept. Anytime I needed something fixed, maintenance responded quickly and took care of it without any hassle. We lived here from Oct 2019 - May 2024. Jean the manager and her crew run a tight ship. If you're looking for a safe and quiet community to call home, I highly recommend Dos Robles apartments. We rented a 2 bd 2 ba upstairs unit with laundry access. The apartment was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The grounds are well maintained. Her staff Maurice and Tom work hard to ensure maintenance needs and repairs are responded to in a timely manner. I appreciate that Jean was fair and communicative. We purchased a home and moved out of the area and we will miss living here. read more

I have literally lived here longer than any other place my entire 59 years of life. I lived here 13 years!!! If they would make Dos Robles condo's... I would have bought one! The only reason I very sadly had to leave was because I wish to retire and I want a home that does not go up in price now that I will be on a fixed income. The price is a secret gem for the location. The Manager, Jean, Maurice, Tony and Nick are the BEST OF THE BEST you will ever find... ANYWHERE. They live here as residents too, not just work here so they truly care about the community environment here. That says a ton. They are proactive and professional and all about family and friends. I have been living at Dos Robles Apartments for 9 months. I have never felt so welcomed into any apartment community. This place is amazing. The property manager Jean is very professional and has been a joy to work with. My apartment has needed very little maintenance, but when it did Jean was all over it. She had the maintenance scheduled right away and openly worked with me to find times that accommodated my schedule. I've worked with One of the Maintenance men Nick and he is awesome. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable and gets the job done right. In other apartment communities I've had to fight to get someone out even for the simplest of repairs. The apartments are clean and well maintained and much larger than many others. Truly a great value for the money. I would recommend Dos Robles to anybody and look forward to settling in for years to come. read more

WHERE DO I START!!! I have been a resident at Mediterranean village for 8 years before I decided to move on to Dos Robles apartments. I love the apartments and most importantly, I LOVE Jean. She made my move SO EASY! She explained everything to me on what I need to get done and painted a picture which made my life easier. During these hard times, she was very understanding as well. She continues to work and makes sure that everyone is doing ok. I will not be moving anywhere till I buy my first home. In the meantime, I HIGHLY recommend living in this little piece of heaven. We've been here since March of 2005 and we continue to live here because between the responsive management that Jean provides, the bang for the bucks, the location, the professional yet courteous maintenance team, and the living situation in general, we've never really had a reason to go elsewhere. The grounds are very well landscaped - quite nicely, actually - and we really like the neighborhood which, for one that's within the city limits, is about as "suburban" as a neighborhood is going to get. When we've had issues, maintenance or otherwise, they've been promptly, efficiently, and effectively addressed while facilities such as the laundry room and pool are top notch and kept that way. The complex is located in an area of Sacramento where we want to be with easy access to mass transit (for my commute purposes), commerce of all kinds, and Interstate 5. In short, Dos Robles has been and remains a great place for us to live. read more

After the loss of our home & all of our belongings in the Paradise, CA Camp Wildfire, we honestly didn't think we would ever be happy living anywhere again. That all changed when some friends of ours told us about an apartment where they lived that was going to be available soon. After meeting the manager Jean here at Dos Robles/Mediterranean Village, we knew that this was the place for us. The apartment was just beautiful! A nice back patio, a fireplace, a huge kitchen pantry, and a very good sized bedroom. We even have an enormous oak tree right in front our our apartment that is hundreds of hears old! I fell in love with this place at first sight. Jean & her team- Tony, Nick & Maurice and exceptionally wonderful. There aren't not many maintenance issues we've faced since living here, just a couple of teeny minor ones, but those were addressed immediately. Very impressive! The grounds are kept meticulous and there is even herbs & strawberries growing wild throughout. The fragrance of gardenias & jasmine are also very welcoming. Jean makes you feel like you are a very good friend of hers and sometimes even family. I have honestly never had a manager or a landlord as wonderful & caring as she has been since we first met. Jean goes above & beyond to make sure her tenants are safe & happy! Since the quarantine, she has done something that is so amazing.... she has had a food truck come to our apartment complex every single week! HA! How many people can say that their managers go that far for them? Burgers, steak sandwiches, soul food, tacos, etc.....every Wednesday evening! Jean & her team are so friendly and that is very important to my hubby & I. We really appreciate them. I have lived here for almost 3 years, I have to say the Manager Jean, and all of the maintenance employees are so good to me. I never have a request that takes a whole day; sometimes it is done in minutes. Recently, a pipe was broken in my apartment, they had the plumbers and all the other people come in immediately and fix the problem. I'm telling you I could not find a better place to live. This place is always clean, it is safe, it has security and for me that is a big deal. I just love the staff and this property. I can't say enough good things about them. The apartment complex is very cute. Large oak trees, well-maintained garden area and a clean pool are what you are able to see when you do a walk through. After a few months of living there you'll find out the reason the rent is so inexpensive is because it is in a crappy neighborhood. In the eight months we lived there I had my car stolen, we heard a gang fight going on in the street, and my roommate had a stalker. Joaquin the maintenance man was pretty awesome, but aside from him the staff was sketchy. The parking lot had a security guard who never left his car and the women that worked the front desk were obviously not interested in being good property managers. My recommendation is that you stay far away from this place. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: We have moved to a 2/2 downstairs unit with a W/D and we absolutely love the apartment. We have lived here for about 6 months and grateful we made the move from the 1/1. We have so much more space and the outdoor patio/yard is like having another room. The good is the walk in closet, w/d area, larger backyard and extra square footage. The new carpet is much better than in the old apartment and we love our neighbors. Oh and the gas fireplaces are so large and inviting. The downside is it is not as updated as the previous 1/1 ie... granite countertops. The yard maintenance is very loud with leaf blowers (but its only one day a week) Overall, we love the apartment and the location which is only 8 minutes from the college where I work. The neighborhood is safe and I feel comfortable walking my dog in the evening. Nic's workshop is next to the apartment and he is so helpful with little things and Jean and the maintenance crew are always very professional in their dealings with us. I'm going to update my review, from months ago, and add photos this time as "proof" I would highly recommend NOT moving to this apartment as the property management, as lead by JEAN, was an absolute nightmare...I can not reiterate enough and highly regretted moving here - it was a nightmare beyond all nightmares - and months after I moved out I am still dealing with the terrible smoke stretch that infiltrated my apartment (which Jean *promised me* would be taken care of...) Attached are the pictures the HORRIBLY painted walls, which Jean *promised* me would be painted with primer - all the way down to the floor (which would alleviate the horrible cigarette smoke smell - they were not painted properly - see attached photos. The paint expert at Home Depot - I showed him the photos & he said that he has never seen such a horrible paint job. Yeah, that's the level of workmanship at these crap whole apartments) Furthermore, my toilet - which Jean told me was "new" (it wasn't - surprise, surprise...) leaked excrement - gross! Also, someone attempted to bang down my door at 2:20a.m. GREAT Security! and someone else cleaned out the trunk of my car , like just a few weeks before I was moving out (finally) I had QUITE the ordeal getting to move out, too. I had to a physician's note, and talk to three separate sets of lawyers, fun times.. DO NOT trust Jean - she will just tell you what she needs to tell you - to get you to sign on the dotted line, which doesn't mean that ANY of the work she promises to be done before your move in, will actually be done. She promised the sky, what happened was: she didn't deliver in any way, and I was left with an uninhabitable apartment, completely ; / It was terrible! All because I read a few online reviews, and thought that I could trust them....Don't nec trust any of the positive reviews online, see for yourself and "trust your gut" as far as the reliableness and trustworthiness of the property management at this apartment complex. Again, I wish I had "trusted my gut" and gone with another place other than this one, as it caused me so much time, money, and stress (end of rant) After I moved out, it was a tremendous amt of work to try to eliminate any smoke smell from my belongings, some of which still stink months later. read more

I've been living here for almost one year and love it here. It's peaceful, quiet and the neighbors are respectful of each other. The staff is always there for us no matter what we need. In January 2014, I began my apartment search and ran across Dos Robles Apt's in Rent.com After much prayer, I felt led to contact and visit the community. Of course ... No openings I still left my application with Jean ..I continued to pray. I moved into this community in March 2014. The spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with fireplace and washer dryer hookup ......was just what I needed. The community is quiet and kept up very well . Inside and outside . Jean the manager and her staff are friendly and make you feel like " family " Which is uncommon in this day and time. Jean is very aware of the happenings which helps you to feel safe and safe. I lived here from 2004 through 2013 and from 2004 through 2012 it was a decent place to live. Then Jean took over the management and she is the worst person you could ever have as a manager. First she blames her tenants for any problems they have inside their apartments. She threatens her tenants with evictions if they speak out about the issues. BEST apartment complex in the Greenhaven Pocket Area! Apartments are HUGE...mine included washer and dryer hook up! Great location...10 minutes to downtown in TRAFFIC!!! Well maintained, clean, with really nice gardens...you can pick lemons off the tree! QUIET....tenants are respectful of their neighbors. SAFE...parking is gated...and pedestrian gates all around. It is a secure complex with many long time residents. NO CRIME...I've seen no police on site in a year and a half! How many apartments in Sacramento can say that??? GREAT staff....maintenance guys are quick! The property manager, Jean, is the BEST! She takes great care of the apartment complex and her tenants. She keeps the tenants informed of changes, maintenance, etc. She is very respectful of tenants privacy. If you mess around and do not follow the rules, Jean will talk to you. I've lived here about 9 months. All in all I'd say it is a great complex. My apartment had new everything when I moved in, super clean and well maintained. Large rooms, lots of storage and quiet environment. Jean the manager is very professional and seems to do everything she can to make the complex a good environment. Grounds are well groomed, garden like with two large clean pools. The complex is pretty locked down, so much so that having guests can be a chore, but all in all I'd prefer that to having a place anybody can walk into. There is a small amount of crime, but no more than downtown/midtown Sacramento. I've not had any issues and all the tenants are friendly. Considering the price and the environment you get, I'm giving 5 stars for value. read more
