I have been wanting to try Dos Taquitos for a while now. Finally went tonight and was NOT disappointed! The just staff could be more friendly and attentive, but whatever. Our server, Isabella, was excellent and so was the food! The chips are thick and tasty. We enjoyed having our guacamole delivered by the train. It's a fun touch. Everything was served hot and it was all delicious!

Ugh, I have too many great things to say about Dos Taquitos! This place really pulls out all the stops when it comes to great food and a wonderful experience. It's got a fantasically funky vibe, with a train that delivers small things like salsa and a chicken coop with the cutest hens. This is the perfect place to take a child or a child at heart. This place does get busy, but I've found the wait time is shorter than what they say. The parking lot is small, but there's just enough space in the lot and nearby to find parking. Don't mind the unassuming shopping plaza. It's worth the stop! The service was really great and attentive. Everyone was so friendly and we even got to witness a birthday celebration with sombreros and singing. In terms of the food, think typical Mexican restaurant faire. I particularly like a Mexican chicken soup, and this one really delivered with a lot of avocado chunks thrown in. The taquito appetizer was really a star of the show. It comes in three delightful flavors, and the potato one was a favorite all around. My friends really enjoyed the drinks here, and overall it was a great experience.

Came here for the train and that was the best part of the meal. First, I don't like the decor. Very eclectic if that's your thing. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The guac that came on the train didn't seem fresh, it looked like something I'd get from a container. The service was great!

Great music & great service! Dishes are very aesthetically pleasing. If you like your regular Tex-mex joint back at home you're gonna love this. As a Hispanic person, I know what kind of flavor I'm looking for and this just passes the flavor test. *Ask for their homemade chipotle sauce*

Amazing food. Wait time was a bit long but was offered to dine at the bar. Service was excellent. The inside was decorated great with things to look at everywhere. Overall a great time with great food just make a reservation.

Dos Taquitos is still amazing. The husband and I went on a Saturday early evening and it was packed as usual. He got the arroz con pollito and it was delicious, but also very spicy (which it doesn't say in the menu). The cheese sauce is divine. I had my favorite-the tostadas. The steak tostada is better than the chicken. We'll be back again!

I love this place! The atmosphere is so lively and fun. They serve you dips and guac on a little train that travels around the restaurant! Service is spectacular. Some of the lower rated reviews complain about how not being seated in a timely manner, and I agree it definitely can get busy but we were seated within about 30 mins with a large party of 10. I got the carnitas and they were delicious. Would definitely come here again!!!

Fabulous experience. Seated immediately at a fun train table. Waiter was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Cositas con Mole which was an excellent choice. Rich flavor and plentiful portion. Husband ordered the Enchiladas Pueblas and agreed with my previous assessment of too much cream and too much sweetness on the black bean one. Chips and salsa were delicious. The train brought us extra salsa as well as our check. So much fun!

Excellent food, presentation, and atmosphere! We had a pleasant evening dining on tacos, sipping margaritas, and watching the train deliver queso and guacamole. Everything tasted great and was presented well. The dinner and bar menu offers ample options and is reasonably priced. We left satisfied and recommend this restaurant to others! Side note: they have chickens!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Was in Raleigh for a concert and decided to check out Dos Taquitos. First of all, the decor/atmosphere is so colorful and unique in taste, it draws you in. The trains that deliver the dips are so cute. I enjoyed the drinks and the food. The only critique I have is to cut up the meat for the faijitas. We ordered the combo faijitas (chicken, shrimp, and steak), but the pieces were huge pieces and could've been sized more appropriately for sharing.

Don't let the weird negative reviews fool you. This place is legit. Now first thing, if you want to come here, make a reservation. We waited 40 minutes after arriving at 5:20pm on a Saturday night. But while we waited, the staff was pleasant and friendly. We ordered a few items: guacamole (tableside) Chicken tacos Chicken chimichanga Beef tacos All items were hot and delicious! The service was excellent- never had a glass empty! Really fun and cute decor. Also there's a train that delivers certain dips to your table. We did not sit at a "Train table" but I hear you can reserve via Resy for a specific table. Will be back for sure!

Customer service and food is impeccable!

Rating based on: consistency, cleanliness, quality, taste, and presentation FAM, LET ME PUT Y'ALL ONTO DOS TAQUITOS LIKE I'M DROPPING THE HOTTEST FORTNITE STRAT! As a certified Mexican food boss who's smashed through 900+ spots (that's more levels than your Elden Ring playthrough), this joint is low-key the MVP of NC Mexican eats! No cap, it's banging harder than a Travis Scott concert! Prices are reasonable, especially for the quality you get, portions bigger than your gym PRs, and an ambience that's giving immersive theme park vibes with actual fire food! Pro move: Snag them train seats if you know, you know - it's like VIP in a Call of Duty lobby! Now, let's squad up on the menu: That grilled chicken quesadilla? SHEEEESH! Impeccable execution - chicken staying juicy like your post-workout protein shake, charred to perfection without being heavy like a bad hangover! The steak tacos? Straight bussin' with that creamy, delicious pico de gallo white sauce so luscious you'd wanna take a bath in it! FR FR, the flavor's more unique than a limited-edition sneaker drop - never tasted anything like it! Salads? Fresher than your new iPhone 18 unboxing! And them chimichangas? To die for - crispy outside like your favorite controller grip, creamy inside with that brie-like cheese melt, plus chopped peppers and onions hitting all the spots! Fresh avocados got me acting up! This place stays packed like a sold-out like the Knicks versus the Charlotte NBA game, but the quality and consistency? More reliable than Anthony Edwards 3 pointer! Staff? based Straight kings - friendly AF, going extra like they're carrying your team in ranked, and they NEVER skim on condiments (unlike those weak spots we don't name)! Real talk, the food's so scrumptious I almost didn't drop this review - don't want y'all storming the gates and turning it into a TikTok trend! But if you ain't bringing your girl or your ride-or-die here, bro, you're fumbling harder than a noob in Warzone! Might as well delete your dating app and call it a day! If you're in NC and sleeping on this, what are you even doing w Ur life ? Pull up, feast like a champ, and thank me later - this spot is serving straight W's! 6 7 Pro tip: Hit it during peak hours for that fresh-off-the-grill energy, but check the train seats first - game changer! And don't let me get started on that guacamole son !

Took Mom out last night for some mahi tacos. Dos Taquitos is one of our favorite places. The decor is so unique and you can tell they just had FUN decorating everything! Our server was so pleasant and WARM and we complimented her on this - she just had a nice attitude about her that made us feel so welcome. Food here is soooo good! Everything is good but definitely don't leave without trying their plantains coupled alongside this awesome sauce they come with. Get the guacamole so you can have it delivered to the table by train! So much Love

It never came. After waiting, we had to flag down a server walking by, who eventually brought one--only for it to be broken. It then took another 10 minutes before we finally got a functional highchair. Throughout the visit, the staff seemed far more interested in talking amongst themselves than actually paying attention to guests. The overall atmosphere felt disorganized, inattentive, and unprofessional. The worst part came after we left. I realized almost immediately that I had left my wallet behind and called right away. Instead of any sense of urgency or willingness to help, the host who answered was incredibly rude and dismissive. Before I could fully explain the situation, she cut me off and told me to "call back tomorrow." When I tried to quickly describe the wallet--color, contents, anything that might help--she hung up on me mid-sentence. Considering I called almost immediately after leaving and was brushed off so quickly, it raises serious concerns about whether any real effort was made to locate it. I would hope any establishment would take something like that seriously. Between the lack of attention, the disorganization, and the way a simple, time-sensitive situation was handled, this place clearly has serious issues with customer service. I won't be back.

When you arrive there is parking in front of the restaurant as it's located in a shopping plaza. When you walk in you'll feel like you've been transported to a trendy, energetic, and coastal beach restaurant. There are also TVs at the bar if you are looking to watch sports. We checked in with the host and opted for a table. To start we ordered the queso (Smoky queso, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro) and added the smoky chorizo. The queso was very good and had a great smoky flavor with a little spice. You'll want to order an appetizer as chips are not complimentary. For drinks my partner ordered the strawberry mojito (Bacardi limon, mint, lime, soda, strawberry) which was good and on the sweeter side. I ordered the Desert Fire (Jalapeño infused lunazul, triple sec, chipotle simple syrup, lime, spicy rim) which was on the spicier side but was so good. For mains my partner ordered the Mahi Wrap (Blackened mahi, napa-romaine mix, fresh avocado, honey chipotle sauce, Caribbean salsa, grilled flour tortilla with seasoned fries) which had a nice balance of flavors. The fish was a bit overcooked but the seasoned fries and flavors made up for the dry fish. I ordered the surf & turf burrito (Grilled shrimp, marinated steak, queso rice, grilled onions, pico de gallo, queso fresco, baja crema, topped with habanero onions & arugula, cilantro served with black beans) topped with the tomato cream sauce. The sauce had a nice smoky flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. As for the steak, kind of the same issue as the fish where it was overcooked/cooked well done. For dessert we ordered the Sugar churros (Whipped cream, caramel dipping sauce) which were served piping hot and they go perfectly with the dip. We ended up stirring the whipped cream and the caramel sauce together. I definitely would stop by salt & lime cabo grill for mexican food but would opt for just shrimp as the main meat vs mahi or steak. Looking forward to my next visit to salt & lime.
