    I'm a Dot Dog :)

Dot Dogs is by far the best groomer we've ever been to. They are so sweet to our pets (who we consider more like our kids) and the grooming is top notch! We brought our shitzu, teacup yorkie, and pug there and always leave with wagging tails. I recommend Dot Dogs to anyone searching for a great deal and a great expierence :) We drive over 30 mins each way to see them!

Ruby loves Dot Dogs! Thanks Jessie & George!

I normally don't write many reviews but I have to take the time to share how incredible my experience has been with Dot Dogs. I'm a first time dog owner and struggled finding the right groomer for my little Yorkie-Bichon, Ruby. I went to a few groomers before I found Dot Dogs but Ruby's cuts were always overpriced, poor quality and the overall atmospheres were not welcoming. It was disheartening feeling like I was not leaving her in the best of hands. But then I found Dot Dogs! When I saw Dot Dogs also offers dog walking I was in a bind and reached out. George returned my call immediately and met Ruby and I the next day. He is so flexible, friendly and amazing with her and I feel beyond comfortable now when I'm at work knowing she's in good hands. He makes each client a priority and it makes a world of difference. When it came time for Ruby's next groom, I walked into the store and immediately could sense the friendly atmosphere. All the treat jars are such a nice touch, it's like a candy shop for pups. Dot Dogs meets all my expectations. Jessie treats all dogs like her own, and that is hard to come by. I've seen her with the many different dogs when I drop off/pick up Ruby and you can tell she loves what she does and beyond that she takes pride in her work and is so knowledgable of all the different breeds and appropriate styles. She suggested keeping Ruby's ears and tail a little longer and it looks so much better that way. She also asks and clarifies what you'd like done before the appointment, and in a short amount of time my fuzzy girl looks like a new gorgeous amazing smelling puppy who can see through her hair again! It's also so easy to get to, less than a quarter mile off 93! I feel lucky to have Jessie and George as part of our team and I know you will too! Thanks Dot Dogs !

Jessie was fantastic! She took the time to chat with me about what I wanted and asked questions about my pup to ensure everything went well. She told me when she thought he'd be done and called me right before he was done. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Alfie was happy when I picked him up and looked (and smelled) fantastic. Alfie and I have found our new groomer! Thanks Jessie and Dot Dogs!

I am so impressed. We recently rescued a Malti-poo and then found that he had a few fleas (not a full infestation and he had been treated with his monthly preventative but he did have a couple after a trek in the woods). We opted for a flea bath and total groom. Our little guy is flea-free and so handsome! He looks like a totally different dog but in a good way. He was very happy after his day at the salon and so were we! Being a new dog owner we wouldn't trust our pup to just anyone, but we will surely bring him back to Dot Dogs in the future. P

I called the business to inform them about what had happened to my dog since she hadn't healed in about a week. I offered to come down and show pictures of her cuts. They gave me a full refund. I still won't be returning, but at least the issue was resolved...but at what expense =\

AMAZING. My dog did not make it easy for his nails to be cut but they were so incredibly patient with us. I can't thank them enough!

We brought our very young Weimaraner puppy in for his first DIY bath and Jessie gave it to us on the house!

I moved to Boston in November and decided to send my dog to daycare and boarding here as it's close by to my home. Previously my dog was in daycare for years in our other city we lived in and he absolutely loved it. Immediately upon arriving to this location it is incredibly small. I believe they take the pups on pack walks so they're not inside the whole day. It's so small inside I don't see how they even have enough room to play. I started sending my dog here on Saturdays and I noticed he would start crying when we would turn onto the block. I'd drop him off and he would have a complete meltdown and I didn't understand why, as the staff here is incredibly kind. I also had to start traveling for work, so when my pet sitter couldn't stay with him I'd send him to boarding, which they'd transport him to their Roxbury location. It was like pulling teeth to get any updates on how he was doing. They don't answer their texts sometimes for a full day. I had to beg them to finally start uploading a report card just to know how he was doing or if he was ok. The lack of communication alone should have been a big enough red flag to stop sending him here, along with the stress he seemed to be under upon drop off and pick up. In January I sent him for boarding for a work trip and a couple days after I picked him up he got incredibly sick. He ended up having to be hospitalized for a couple of days and I paid almost $10k in vet bills. They said he likely caught something from another dog. Several months later, again after a work trip he now won't let any of my dog walkers approach him with his prong collar. I don't know if maybe someone at the Roxbury location handled him aggressively with his collar, but he's 5 years old and has been wearing this collar since he was a year and a half old. We have never had issues with it until I started sending him here. I have no idea if something happened to him at that location since their communication is abysmal. A couple of days after this, I saw a Facebook thread of a woman who sent their dog here for a simple nail trim and they gave her pup back with a popped blood vessel in its eye and said they had no video footage to provide when she asked. Everyone in the comments said that a popped blood vessel in the eye is a sign of strangulation, and people started sharing their terrible experiences about this place. This would make sense why my pup doesn't want anything near his neck anymore. I'm not sure why there aren't many google reviews, but there were hundreds of comments of people sharing their unsettling stories here. On top of the financial stress this has put me under, I've also had to completely change my work schedule to walk my dog since he doesn't trust any walkers anymore. I now have him in a harness and have been doing more training with him, but I've had to cancel all of my travel for work because of this. I've never had any behavioral issues with my dog until sending him here.
