Not fancy, but a good burger every time. The meat is from the old town grocer next door and the burgers are made to order. Fries are hot and thick, just the right amount of salt. Stop in on Tuesdays and catch some of the local good ole boys playing music. read more

I usually love Dot's and give recommendations to a lot of people especially about their chicken fried steak ! CFS is always great and consistent ! Yesterday took some friends there for lunch. We were only ones in there after lunch rush. One got CFS which was great, one got CFS sandwich and it was great ! Another got chicken strips and was great as well ! I unfortunately was in the mood for a good ole hamburger ! That was not even close to Dot's standard ! Meat broken up on bun, overcooked, falling apart, cold, and just downright terrible. Hamburgers should be cooked to order and this one wasn't. Should have sent it back so that's on me. But cook should know when they are sending out something that shouldn't. So stick with the CFS !! It used to be good/decent. But for the past year maybe, their pizza sauce has been terrible. It tastes like they're using spaghetti sauce instead. Their sauce is so tangy and sour-smelling, I hate it. Also, their burgers used to be fair, but now they're just pitiful. The meat is poor quality and always overcooked and charred. Their ketchup also tasted tangy and sour, unlike ketchup from everywhere else. They're fries are good but small portion. Would not recommend unless they change ownership again then I'd give it another chance. read more

Sorry to say that this place has gone downhill. Food is fair but the management does not care about their customers. Waited an hour for a pizza and the order was WRONG! Great pizza with the proper amount of grease on the pan. Crispy pepperoni along the edges of the pie. I would highly recommend the medium pepperoni pizza. Also, they added an arcade next door with billiards and air hockey. read more

Drove by numerous times before we had an opportunity to stop in and try the place. Everything was made to order. We ordered the fried mushrooms which were very good. Nice sized, crispy and hot. Chili cheese fries were tasty. Fried chicken was very good. Came with two sides, the wife ordered cole slaw and mashed potatoes, both of which were really very good. I ordered the Italian Sub. Very nice. Good roll. Meat ( capicola, salami, mortadella) was delicious and I believe it was imported since it wasn't your run of the mill cold cuts. It was on a nice roll which was stacked with provolone, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles etc. Service was good and again, since it's all made to order, it was all nice and fresh. To top it all off, good folks. Looking forward to visiting again and trying other items from the menu. read more

I've had better burgers but at least the ingredients were fresh. Bathroom (only one) was disgusting. I spoke to the staff and they rushed to deal with it... then delivered our food later. Ugh. I hope the server washed her hands. read more

The breading on the chicken fried steak was very, very good. Almost as light as tempura coasting. Good quality ingredients and good flavor. Dots's is obviously the go to place as I noticed that over half of the customers simply asked for "the usual". I will return to Dot's Place. read more

I used to eat here quite a bit. Their pizza is really good but since they went to a wait staff and not ordering at the cashier it has gone down hilI. It takes forever to get a menu. I had to get up and get my own water. To top it off they leave the ticket at the table but you have to go to the cashier with the waitress if you're using a debIt card with the tip included. Why have a waitstaff if I have to do everything myself and also leave a tip that wasn't deserved. I won't be back unless you change your service back to self ordering. I had to go to the car and get a jacket and I still froze in there. It's 50 degrees outside in January and they have the AC blasting in the dining room with the ceiling fans on. We complained and they said if they turn off the ac then it's too hot in the kitchen. Are you kidding me? It's obvious that they don't have a manager in charge. read more
