I've tried to get keys made at Home Depot and Lowes only to find that they are crap and don't work right. So I go to Mai's. They'll make you a copy for $2 each and can usually get it done in about 30-40 mins depending on how busy they are that day. I go shopping then come back and the keys they've made for me work great.

Once the company did reply to my email, over a week later, the Comic Sans MS font informed me simply that an order such as I had described in detail "would be possible." (I had called several times during the interim, receiving no answer.) When I finally got one of their representatives on the phone, she was scattershot and unable to provide answers to most of my questions. Finally, I was told I could email the text for a laser-engraved plaque to the same address that had told me the order would be possible. The email response was that I needed to provide a credit card number via email for them to process it. There was no invoice, no receipt, and no response when I replied that I would prefer to provide credit card information over the phone or in person rather than via email. When I called to check in on the order, the same female representative seemed confused and told me she was unable to confirm whether or not an order had been placed. She said she did not even know what kind of products were available, and that no one would be able to tell me if an order had even been placed until the following day (the date the plaques were supposed to be ready for pickup) when the engraver came to work. I have utilized dozens of different companies for services ranging from catering to promotional materials ordering to custom apparel production, and never in my experience have I encountered a company as disorganized and frustrating as Baumgarten.
