After this we had to come in for an hour consultation to go over a long term plan for our mouths. We said no to that mentioning that all we wanted was our teeth cleaned. We had to go to another dentist as we felt this was just a money pit. Months later we were told that insurance would not cover it. In the end it was a $600 waste of money and we never got our teeth cleaned.

I went to dentist knowing I was most likely needing a root canal because the tooth had been hurting me for weeks. Sure enough the Xrays agreed with me and I was given two options, pull the tooth or root canal. Since it was a back tooth and I use it for chewing I decided root canal was the way to go. The dentist who I had never seen before and was ready to begin. I trusted the dental team to do right by me and how wrong I was. They should have told me to wait to do the root canal and get me on antibiotics to lessen the "hotness" of that tooth, but they didn't say that. For the next 2 1/2 hours if was crying and shaking in pain. The dentist gave me multiple numbing shots that did not completely work, so he began injecting the shots right into the nerves. I was the last patient there that day and it was a good thing because no body would go to this practice if they heard the patient in the next room crying and screaming in pain.

I had an excellent consultation with Dr. Heffernan who is very professional and he really cared about the outcome of our dental plan to make sure I was happy with it. Hendricks grinned the tooth down far too much and the numb crumbled. There was no numb left a bunch of yellow chalky stuff in there. I demanded I want my money back I paid cash out of pocket to have them make me loose a tooth. They were dodging my phone calls and not calling me back.
