Found this coffee and bakery in Byron but it was closed. It was somewhere for us to go the next time around here. Sweetbean is best for the coffee but there's also a full food menu. A place that gets packed at breakfast. That's no surprise because nowhere else in town opens as early. Crowded but we found a table at breakfast. It's mostly a place to get coffee and baked goods. The menu is bigger than it seems. Also has things at lunch. There's quite a lot to look through. It's about $4 for a coffee. The one I got was the Samoa Mocha. Get it cold or hot. This is made with caramel, coconut cream, and mocha. It's about $2 for baked items. They had vegan chocolate chip cookies from a local bakery, along with the usual things like croissants and muffins. Going here might be a challenge. It's busy and there's limited hours. They're closed Sundays and Mondays, only open for breakfast and lunch, and they close earlier Saturdays. read more

This is a two shot review - we have been in twice. It was so good the first time, we had to come back and try it again to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. What you get: fresh sandwiches made while you wait. I had their Chicken Ciabatta on the first trip, and their Italian Special on the second visit. Both had flavor, presentation, and tasted really good. I went back and bought dessert as well - they have a variety of freshly baked gooey goodness in the counter. Hint: The Lemon Bars - Choose the Lemon Bars -oooooooooh so good. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife is. They have a professional Latte machine, and good Rancillio coffee grinders, so even the coffee is fresh! read more

Absolutely wonderful. The food the service always on top of it. Can get really busy but well worth it.

Always great food and drinks and the team really seems to care! We enjoy browsing all their food and gift inventory as well.

This place has a small Deli Cafe feel, very friendly people, and freshly made food. If you have a chance to go it will be well worth it.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. Very friendly service! The owner helped me pick out my menu items and gave suggestions. A little pricey but the quality of food & beverages, friendly staff and welcoming & homey environment easily make up for it. The breakfast skillet with sweet potato is to die for. Sweetbean recently opened to the best of my knowledge. I never knew it was here. Such a cute little coffee shop with lots to offer. I love the homey feeling and the delicious smell of coffee when you first walk in. Everyone is super friendly there. You can tell everyone enjoys working there and does their best to make their customers happy. They have lots to choose from on their drink menu as well as their food menu. Love Sweetbean! Love the options that they have! Love the friendly staff that serves the community. Love the new location and the window pick up option. The outdoor seating in the summer/fall was very enjoyable! We love the breakfast and lunch sandwiches!!! Soup is wonderful also! All drinks we have had our great! My husband drinks plain black coffee and even loves it! He is highly impressed with Sweetbean all together as well. We also love that all drinks can be modified however needed. We come in from Colorado about once a year, and we always make it a point to visit Sweetbean once a day when we're here! Fantastic coffee creations, fantastic food options, but the staff is what really sells this place. They're all amazing, but the owner has gone out of her way to connect with us and has even made specific food items for my wife who has some dietary restrictions. I love Sweetbean Cafe & Bakery! The coffee is great! The food is terrific. But it's the staff - the customer service that makes you feel like you are family that truly set this place apart. When you go for breakfast - I recommend either of the quiches. Both are perfect. They have a light and flaky crusts. My mouth is watering thinking about the spinach quiche right now. The meatloaf sandwich is our lunchtime favorite. It's a hearty, messy, delicious sandwich. And don't forget about the pastries and desserts! I love the cinnamon rolls.
