Double Bluff Brewing is located right in downtown Langley. They have a lot of different options of beer to try and non-alcoholic options too. You can order food from a food truck located near the back. They have a large outdoor area for seating with families and dogs.

My wife and I stopped into Double Bluff while playing in the area. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Double Bluff offers indoor and outdoor seating. A few games are onsite as well to play while slurping on some beer. During our visit my wife slurped on a 12oz Kolsch and I slurped on a 12oz Toil & Trouble IPA for $6.50 each. Double Bluff did not meet my standards of cleanliness. Staff was coarse and unwelcoming. Overall, I absolutely love breweries; however, Double Bluff will not be a brewery that I ever return to.

Great beer, good service, kid and dog friendly, what more could you ask for?! They don't have food but you are welcome to BYO. Seating is a mix of indoor/outdoor with fire heaters and I'd say it's kind of limited. I wouldn't pop in here as a large party at "prime time for a pint" and expect to find a seat. If you love craft beer this spot is definitely worth hitting.

New location in Langley is bigger and has plenty of outdoor seating. They have live music and it's a great atmosphere. Limited wine options, but to be expected for a brewery!

Super fun vibe! Live music and good beer with an outdoor patio right in Langley. We were able to get seated immediately and the bar service was quick.

This was a very cute spot. My husband and cousin stopped for a beer here, and there was plenty of room for us to join them at their table. It is very small indoors, however it looks like there is some outdoor, covered seating outside around fire pits- adorable! The stout my husband ordered was delicious. Would definitely come back here and hopefully sit outside. I do wish the food menu was more extensive, but that's okay- not what it's meant for, I was just hungry.

Double Bluff Brewing is a cute little brewery located in downtown Langley. It is in the downtown area of Langley and kind of tucked away which gives it a quaint feel. I was here in early Autumn and it was a very pleasing time to come and just relax. The taproom is a little small and the brewery seems to be pretty popular and I was a bit concerned if I could land a seat but luck prevailed and I managed to score a seat and a table which felt like by the skin of my teeth. The service here was good but ti wasn't easy to chat with any of the staff because it was very busy as I said and they had to keep things a moving. At Double Bluff Brewing I got their Anthesian India Red Ale which was enjoyable. I enjoy brews with ingredients of a more experimental nature and felt like this particular beer wasn't quite the fit that I was looking for but it was fine to relax to. I inspected some of their other beer options and didn't quite find much else that would lead to another round so I moved on. With that said it sounds like my attitude to the place is lukewarm but after exploring other breweries on Whidbey Island I think Double Bluff wins out on being the best one to try.

You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.

I have to say it's an improvement on the beer quality from the previous brewery not trying to sound like a jerk there... it's just how I genuinely feel on the matter. I already submitted the name change, business hours and website to Yelp to change so hopefully all of that is pushed through. I could just have reported that the business was closed that was here before but on social media it seems like Social Fabric was using the Discovery Bay accounts so I figured I's submit changes instead since that was the pattern I was seeing. As I have said I felt like the beer has improved and I had Social Fabric Brewing earlier in the summer at a taphouse in Port Angeles and when we heard that the brewery was opening their own taproom we decided to proceed and make a trip here as soon as Social Fabric was in operation. Now, onto the beer! I had a very nice Baltic Porter here called Mid Dark Energy which I really enjoyed with it's roastiness flavor profile to match up with the nippy weather we were experiencing. They also had some pretty creative beers on tap that we got tastes of like the PB & Jansport which was like a Peanut butter and jelly beer which I do like to sample when I see one and then the had the Pumpkin Beans which was a pumpkin beer that was very good also. Definitely a fun brewery to try and I walked away quite satisfied with the brewery that has taken over the helm at this location.

Not entirely sure if there is a surplus of parking, but we managed to get a spot in the empty lot across the street. The location seemed a little bit off the beaten path, but not far from main roads. The person behind the bar was friendly. It also has two bathrooms which is something I have come to appreciate from a brewery. We just had one beer, I don't recall what exactly but I am sure it was tasty. What I liked most about this place is that they had food available, including vegan hot dogs. The price was very reasonable, only 5$ and it came with chips. It took 15 minutes or so, but usually when you are having a beer you are not in a rush. I appreciate that he came out with the basket of chips and you got to pick which kind you wanted. I also like that he brought out a condiment basket which included dill relish.

For what feels like no apparent reason. The bartender slinging beers--truly seemed annoyed and miserable with his life. And then the woman taking food orders? Also acted very inconvenienced. It was just kind of unsettling and unwelcoming. And then there's the part about the unexplained wait time for our food order. My sister ordered after us and received her brisket nachos in what felt like a timely manner. 10-15-20 minutes went by before we finally inquired about the wait of our brisket poutine. The same lady who took our order just matter-of-factly told us, "it's still being worked on," before another employee came to offer more of an explanation, stating that their ticket system had failed and missed some orders. At that point, we just wanted to cancel the order altogether and get on our way, but we were assured that it was being prepared. So then we opted to take it to go. Overall, what a wildly disappointing dining experience. Our to-go poutine had 3 whole cheese curds (had to pay for extra) and brisket that looked like dog kibble. I hate to dog on establishments, but this is one I really cannot recommend.
