Over the years their outdoor space has gotten more and more built out - now there is tons of comfortable seating with heat lamps and rain tents amidst vineyards and old growth trees. They make a nice variety of wine and cider - the flights are a great place to start if you aren't sure what to order, but I am partial to their Merlot. Also have small snacks available if you want something to eat along with the wine. The staff and owners are friendly, gracious and welcoming and put a lot of effort into making the place special. A girls day isn't complete if you don't go to a winery, especially winery on an ISLAND! Here we took a fiery ride over to Langley and drove off the our first stop at spoiled dog winery. Here you order what kind of wine you would like to taste. You have the options of a mixed of red and white flights, red flights, or white flights. We ended up doing all the flights in the end. We also got some food to enjoy with wine too. The wine here was actually good and not that expensive either. I ended up buying two wine from here. I ended up with a rosé and a white wine. The place was so beautiful and quaint. It ended up raining when we settled in and we were not mad about it. The ambience was actually nice, but of course it could've been all that wine we drank, but you have fun with good company too. This is one spot that I'd recommend coming back to. My partner, dog, and I felt so welcomed at this winery. We ordered a mixed (white & red) flight to share, and it was only $10. They had treats and water bowls available for our pup :) though we didn't purchase a bottle, they were all decently priced between $15-30. The outdoor seating is on a comfortable grassy area. There are large umbrellas or overhangs above most tables (which was helpful for the slight drizzle) and a decent amount of parking (about 15-20 spots). There's cornhole off to the side, and the furniture is all very modern and cute. The seating area is surrounded by huge trees-- it's absolutely beautiful. The vineyards are also very close to the outdoor seating, which makes for a fun self tour during your visit. The Sauvignon blanc was one of our favorites-- fruity, light, dry. The rosé impressed us (we're used to overly sweet and acidic rosé). The Pinot noir and red blend were well-rounded and easy to drink, but a little lacking in the taste department. We'll definitely come back to this dog-friendly winery next time we're on Whidbey Island! read more

Beautiful winery in Langley, just a short distance from the ferry terminal. We did a flight of the reds in their beautiful outdoor seating area. This place is kid friendly so that was a bonus as we were able to sip and savor the different tastings with a kid in tow. Our favorite was the Pinot Noir and the Sauvignon Blanc and we were able to put our tasting fee towards our purchase of bottles. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Spoiled Dog Winery was a fun stop. This was one of our destinations for when we last went to Whidbey Island. The acreage is adorable as you can look at the vineyard when you pull up by the tasting room. The tasting room which is also a barn! When we went inside there were lots of staff members that were available for customers to sample and taste wine which Steve and I partaked. I often go with white wine while Steve often goes with reds and in this case we went in that direction. Not to say the reds weren't good or expertly made... it certainly was but whites is where I settled my preferences with this occasion. Atmosphere inside is wonderful as you stroll around sipping wine and the outdoor seating is great as well. Spoiled Dog Winery is a fun place to visit when on Whidbey Island. The name hooked us in! We visited on a Saturday in the summer and Spoiled Dog Winery was packed, even the last hour it was open. Because of so, the tasting room inside the barn was crowded, but we planned to sit outside anyway since we had our dog with us. Dogs are allowed on the property outside, but not inside the room/barn. Fortunately, they do have a very nice patio area with some lawn games and other tables and chairs with umbrellas set-up around the grounds. Since we had our dog with us, my boyfriend went to get the wines inside the tasting room and would bring them out. Since it was so crowded and we couldn't both be inside, we didn't do a tasting flight; but rather, we just tasted a few of the red wines (we're not white wine drinkers). Of all the red wines, I liked Deception the best, which is a bordeaux-style blend. It was rich and bold, but light enough to drink with lighter meats and such. In fact, much of the red wines we had were lighter than other reds, so it makes for an easy drink, especially in the summer. Overall, Spoiled Dog Winery is a place to take your spoiled dog while drinking wine on a nice, sunny day! You can even walk around the vineyard and see all the grapes or just play lawn games with your pup. Either way, the wine here is light, refreshing and is worth checking out while on Whidbey Island. read more

I loved the Spoiled Dog. My friend and I visited a few wineries last weekend and I absolutely loved it. The dog is honestly what made it really fun. I felt like the person that was pouring the wine left us hanging and didn't explain things to us. The wine tasted great. I'm normally not a fan of red wines, but the one they had was superb. I was also a little thrown off because their portapotty was really gross. I have been in really nice ones before, with flushing type toilets, running water at a sink, and vents. There were space heaters, which was a great addition as the evening cooled off, and Lindsay and her team made our desire to purchase the first glass of wine for all guests very simple. Do yourself a favor, and hit up Spoiled Dog Winery if you're on Whidbey Island. After riding over on the ferry from Mukilteo, we decided we'd explore the island before getting on the ferry over to Port Townsend. After researching, we found out there were lots of wineries, so we naturally had to try some out. Spoiled Dog Winery stood out to try for two reasons: one, well-rated Pinot Noirs...we love Pinot Noirs. And the name itself, because the in-laws love dogs and their dogs are spoiled and the label was hecka cute. Our hostess was gracious and informative. The $5 tasting fee was waived with the purchase of our bottle of delicious Pinot Noir. All their wines were great, and the whole layout of the barn and vineyards were lovely. We loved Spoiled Dog Winery, and highly recommend it to anyone spending time on Whidbey Island who is looking for something fun to do :) read more

A great little hidden gem of a winery on the south side of Whidbey Island. We stopped by after walking our dog on the beach at Double Bluff. The drive in through the forested, gravel drive opened to a beautiful little vineyard with a quaint building and ample outdoor seating on a luscious lawn. The staff was super-friendly, the appetizers were perfectly sized, the dog treat selection was ample, and the wine was amazing! We'll be back. read more

One issue I have with Woodinville is that they don't make the wine on site so everything is honestly just a tasting room. Well don't worry about that with Spoiled Dog. Park in the parking lot, grab a glass of wine inside and enjoy the scenery of from an actual winery. This place is beautiful. And by the way it is called spoiled.dog for a reason. The spoiled dog is actually wandering around inside and greets you as you order a flight. I was able to.get him to do a few tricks though namely roll over, sit and shake. read more
