Big bold beers mixed with some great lagers. Skook Beer is one of favorite beers ever! Staff is great and friendly. There are usually food trucks on hand because they do not serve food, and it is 21 and over. Lots of seating indoor and out and is dog friendly. Great place to sit and have a beer and talk with your group! Pay attention to their calendar, they have lots of fun things that happen. New owners have officially taken over so I am excited to see what happens!

The venue was very spacious as expected from a brewery. There were a bunch of wood barrels for their barrel aged offering and stainless steel tanks on the back side of the brewery. They had about 15 to 20 different beers on tap including 2 barrel aged stouts/barley wines and about 6 or 7 different hazy IPAs. They also had one beer named after one of Iron Maiden's songs! (Fear of the Dark!). They do not serve food but they had a vending machine for beef jerky. They allowed dogs indoors. Service was minimal but great. Highly recommended if you're in the area or if you are into craft beer. This is one of the better breweries in Washington for barrel aged beers and hazy NE style IPAs.

Food is good, mostly scratch-made, and reasonably priced. The spare ribs are a popular stand-out, and they have a regular specials board you should check out. Drinks are typical, taps are mostly macro and unexceptional, with maybe a local IPA or two, if you're lucky. Service is friendly and prompt. Good crew here, and they manage the sometimes rough clientele with humor and grace. Cigarette and cigar smoke often blows into the restaurant from the cancer garden out back. If it bothers you acutely, this might not be a good choice. Too bad they only cater to card-playing here; pool tables and real darts would draw a more varied crowd. But I get the impression they're happy with things as they are here, and that's fine. An ok place to knock the dust off with a brew or two, and grab a decent bite, and play cards if that's what you like. If the smoke don't choke ya, it's otherwise a good dive. Be advised, but give them a try.

The place was pretty packed but that did not affect service one bit. We were met by a very friendly hostess who guided us to our seats. The drinks we had were very tasty! I had a spicy margarita and my wife had a pineapple cocktail. Our food was very tasty also! The bread and butter app is so simple and delicious! My Nashville hot chicken sandwich had great flavor, I could have used a bit more heat, however it was still very good! My wife loved her mushroom and goat cheese pizza. It is a cocktail bar, so be prepared that it is a little loud, not in a bad way though, just people having fun and conversation. I am hopeful for an upgraded beer selection(I know it's a cocktail bar) but either way we will be back!!

I ordered the bbq pulled pork flatbread and a beer. The beer and food came and then just crickets after that. We sat there for a good 30 minutes with no drinks and at that point just wanted to leave. We had to go in and track down the waitress to ask for a box and check. Just neglected or possibly forgotten. The food was also baaaaaad. At least the flatbread...I ate one piece. The crust was doughy and not crispy at all. Tasted like they just put some cold Kraft bbq sauce on top. Overall just a swing and a miss all around. There was people inside...maybe if we sat inside it would have been different. Honestly felt like outcasts and totally ruined my birthday. Awesome job!!

Despite it being a busy holiday evening, we were seated immediately. The vibe was lively but comfortable, with most tables and the bar filled. Since we visited in February, we leaned heavily into their specials menu. We skipped the small plates and went straight for the mains: the Greek Salad with Steak, the Steak and Gorgonzola Flatbread, and the Vine Burger. Every dish was a hit, though my wife found the red wine vinaigrette on the salad to be just "okay" rather than great. For drinks, we stuck to the mocktails. We tried all three on the menu, and the Blueberry Mule (ginger beer based) was the undisputed winner. We'll have to come back for the cocktails another time since they looked promising! We capped the night with the Apple Blossom pastry with vanilla ice cream--it is a total "must-try." Overall, the service was courteous, the ambiance was spot-on, and parking was a breeze. We'll definitely be back!

The soup of the day was fantastic. A sausage, potato and kale soup. Warm, comforting and delicious! The salad was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the quinoa kale salad, with a citrus vinaigrette. There was a little quinoa and kale on top of a large amount of romaine. Not what I expected. It was also served stuffed into a small, tall sided bowl with the dressing on the side. How exactly are you supposed to dress it and eat it? My friend had the burger and fries. The burger was half the size of the bun. She literally removed 50% of the bun. It was also extremely well done. The fries were cold. They don't have decaf coffee, but I was able to order mint tea. It was brought in a cup that smelled like old coffee. The table had been cleared and I had no napkin and he didn't bring one with the tea. There was a slice of lemon I didn't want and I had no place to put it. There is potential here, I hope they pay more attention to providing a quality experience and food.

Well lit and clean, this place really doesn't register as a "dive bar" to me. Either way, they have some interesting décor on the walls, TVs for your sports (because every bar in Washington is a sports bar), very nicely maintained pool tables, and overall just a great vibe. With 5 years of personal experience in the service industry I know there's never an excuse for how the bar tenders act at this establishment. Rude, condescending, unprofessional, and hostile. Based off of their words and statements I'm lead to believe that the owner actually encourages this behavior as the bartender had no problem with me complaining to the owner. The bar reeks of classless entitlement. Worse bar I've ever been to, would not recommend.
