Many of the dentists I saw in the past stated the bump/growth/scar tissue needed to be removed. But they could not do it and I needed to see an oral surgeon. She saw the issue and told me she would laser it off in the office. I had that done today in 20 minutes. No charge. Where is this ever going to happen??? Dr. Ashley Currington, DMD cares about her patients. This was a simple procedure. I tell everyone I see about the great treatment you receive in her practice. They took photos of my teeth and showed them to me on a large monitor to point out where I had tooth decay. Since there were so many "cavities" they divided the work into two appointments. The first appointment was very uncomfortable, the dentist seemed rushed and didn't want me to swallow as often as I needed to. I was sick with a sinus infection and tried to cancel the 2nd appointment on the Friday before a Tuesday appointment over a holiday weekend. They were very aggressive about wanting to charge me for the appointment. I decided to get a second opinion and actually got two other dentists to look at the photos and x-rays and they both said the so-called cavities were only stains and natural wear on the teeth and did not need treatment. Sadly, I had already paid for over $2K in unneeded and uncomfortable dental work.

I'm glad I did. Walk In: When I first walked in I enjoyed what I saw and heard. What I saw was a nice comfortable place that set me at ease a little. What I heard was nothing, as I was the only one in there for my appointment. Mind you, I'm not a fan of dentists!! I've had so many things go bad with me during appointments and procedures. Examination: I already told the woman who was doing my examination, "Look! I'm not very fond of dentists too much!" I explained why and she understood. She said I was in good hands, I said ok. I told her if you even think you may hurt me by probing me somewhere, let me know first before you do! She said I got you. Probing starting going on and she let me know each time before it happened. Yet, I wasn't in any pain like I would be at other places. On a scale of 100%, I probably felt 20% pain during my examination. If I was anywhere else, I would have felt 85% pain! So now I'm winning. After the examination a treatment plan was discussed as well as appointment made for the treatment. Overall: As I do not care for dentists too much, I feel comfortable with these guys. Like I told them, as long as y'all numb me good, and I don't feel a thing, and send me home with meds after the procedure, I'm good!! They did guarantee me that aspect of my treatment.

They specialize in patients who have dental anxiety, and offer various sedation options for cleanings and dental work. I loved the fact that their priority is making their patients feel comfortable and relaxed, so that their dental experience is a good one! Dr. Paterson and her entire staff at the Buford office are so incredibly sweet and kind. They made me feel comfortable. I was able to use nitrous gas for my cleaning and dental work, and along with Dr Paterson and her staff, I had the best dental experience I've ever had! This place completely sucks…read more First of all, they lock their doors and open as the patients arrive. The front desk staff act like they don't even see you when you've just been standing in front of the door for several mins..... until you physically call them to open the door.
