We all went to this dentist. They told me my son had no cavities and for my daughter. They said they didn't have the equipment necessary to treat her so I'm not sure why they treat children at all. I went to a children's dentist and my child who they said had no cavities. They found 12 cavities. I would not recommend this dentist. They are not thorough and they don't even have the tools to treat kids. read more

You will notice most of the new reviews are bad. This is because they have changed hands. The new front office (and corporation) is money-centric (even though they claim to be patient-centric) and very difficult to work with. They will cancel appointments without notification, threaten to take away your appointment if you do not confirm in the middle of a snowstorm, and suddenly, after 20 years of going there, treat you like you are the problem when they only care about filling time slots. First time I saw the new dentist after 20 years of "watching" some spots, suddenly they had to be filled, even though there was no pain, NO XRAY, and no problems. The only thing that had changed was the dentist, the owners, and their desire to make more money. WATCH OUT. Expect NO real care, NO consideration, NO understanding, and NO patience from the front office manager with your personal needs. If you advocate to be treated fairly and taken seriously, they will call you "rude" to your face. THEY DO NOT CARE! All they care about is filling their schedule and drilling to make money. read more

Friendly staff and hygienists and drs but my cleaning was $390.00. I have never paid that much ever. She says I was a new pt. But they already did a crown on me so I wasn't new. I had no dental insurance. Other dentist's in the past give cash payers a discount. I just find it unbelievable a cleaning was $390.00. Nice people but very disappointed in the fees . read more

I haven't been seen by this clinic but I'm reviewing the customer service of this clinic. I did call to try and schedule an appointment. The woman who answered the phone took my information and told me that the scheduler would contact me to schedule an appointment. I was puzzled because I've never gone through speaking with the office and not being able to schedule an appointment. I'm sure many of us call when we have the time and can make the time to schedule, it's not the other way. The convenience is for the customer/patient, right? I didn't receive a call until the next day but I missed it because I was in a meeting. Didn't bother calling back because I had already scheduled with someone else who was very kind and scheduled me on the spot. The person who answered the phone sounded like she didn't want to be bothered and spoke over me when I would give her more information. I have read high praise about the dentist so it is unfortunate that I will not be able to meet him. But the way this office performs is not for me. read more

Do not use this establishment - You cannot get an appointment in a timely manner, even if it is an emergency. There is no such thing as same day service for an emergency that they advertise on their website. The online scheduling on the website does not work either. They have horrible customer service, promise to call you back and don't, so I had to wait another 24 hours in pain to get told that they couldn't fit me in and got a referral to an endodontist. They want me to wait 18 days to get the build up needed and crown sizing done after a root canal I had today. This is unacceptable. The endodontist they referred me to said that I shouldn't wait for two weeks to have this done. He stated I could have it done as soon as Monday and I shouldn't wait that long. Also they charged me $100 for a missed appointment that I couldn't get to because of work. my fault not getting it rescheduled, very expensive penalty. It's hard to schedule appointments 4 to 6 weeks in advance. You never know what is going to come up between now and then. read more

The entire staff is really great. I know I can be a bit blunt, so they just rolled with me which is always nice. I got to see both Dr. McKenzie's (since they're a husband/wife duo), and both were super professional. When I got a tooth pulled, there was a really nice hygienist named Amy (I think). I was nervous, and she held my hand the entire time. That little thing really meant the world to me. The only real complaint I had was I wish they (and most dentists) had some kind of in house payment plan. They offered a dental care card thing. I had one before, and I just couldn't afford it. This is why I rarely see a dentist, because it's really expensive. If they had some sort of payment plan for super low income people, then I would see them a lot more. I could get the smile I want back. Overall, I would definitely suggest people to them. read more

This place is great! Professional and friendly staff, clean and modern building, and I literally got the best cleaning I think I've ever had. The hygienist was friendly and gentle. She also took the time to explain what she was doing rather than just jamming tools in my mouth. Check in and check out process was so simple. I have been bringing my daughter here for about a year to a year and a half now on my father's recommendation, which has only been 3-4 visits, but they have been consistently courteous and clean each time. Even without dental insurance, their prices are reasonable and they were even able to accommodate me for a toothache on short notice despite my fear of dental procedures. They have been prompt with their appointments and I usually don't have to wait long if at all. read more

I just got my first cleaning done at Mckenzie. From reception to cleaning to review, I had a great experience. Hygienist, Carry, was one of bests. She was gentle but thorough. It takes about a month to get an appointment in December so plan ahead. read more

At my age and with my dental history, I know an honest, skilled dentist fairly quickly, so I was pleased with Dr. Scott McKenzie after my first visit six years ago. The longer I go to him the more grateful I am to have found him and his lovely staff! I recommended him to my adult son who, with one exception, has great teeth. But that one tooth has a crown that another dentist in the area had messed up repeatedly and couldn't get the crown to sit right on the damaged tooth, be pain free, or stay on. Dr. McKenzie fixed the issue with the crown the first time he worked on it. That was years ago, and the crown hasn't had one issue since. read more
