AESTHETICS: The shop was clean, actually had decent furniture, tv, and nice personality to the shop. CHECKING IN: Phaded has an iPad to check in if your a walk in WITH a selection of the barber or first available. To top it off they are priced and structured in a way where the shop sets a base price and individual barbers with their own pre-schedule appt clients set their own. DEFINITELY ask before you sit. Now for my experience when I first came in I was greeted letting them know I'm new to the shop and walk in. My barber DON was great. Walked me through the checkin and provided great service. Talented young man that knows how to engage with a customer and 100% respectful. Most barbers I've seen get too distracted with other barbers or rush through the cut. DON took his time, listened to what I wanted and even suggested other services at the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this barber. Blue Suede is run by Barber Buster. You can easily make an appointment via his website. You'll receive both an email confirmation and text confirmation. You also get a few reminders prior to your appointment via text, which is helpful. He's located in a newer plaza off of 210, which includes restaurants Nori and Poppy's. His location is in Parlor lofts, where there are dozens of other hair, nail, boutique booths and shops available. His loft is clean and looks like what you'd think a barber shop to look like. Anytime we've seen Buster he's kind, talkative, and efficient. I normally bring him a picture of what I want for my kiddo and he delivers. He even has lollipops for the kiddos after their haircut. Normally we're in and out in about 20 minutes. His prices are very reasonable and he does a great job.

It's Monday. My regular barber is closed, so I thought I'd try this place because it was open…read more Parking here is kind of hard, but there was a spot in front. I waked in about 3:15pm and there was someone else in a chair but I thought it's no big deal, because I'm next. I had a 4pm appointment so plenty of time. After 15 minutes someone else walks in. At this point, I'm informed this new customer has an appointment and will go after the existing customer who is still in the chair getting his haircut. So back of the line for me. I didn't actually get my hair cut, because I don't have all day to hope I can get squeezed in. Here's a customer service tip. If you take appointments and you have one coming soon, let the customer who just walked in off the street that doesn't have an appointment know they're not actually next in line. Don't let them waste valuable time waiting for a hair cut only to learn that you're only going to cut their hair if a slot opens up. It's rude and disrespectful and worth one star.
