Double D's is definitely off the beaten path. You might even miss it driving by, but I hope not. Once you enter it's like being at Cheers (where everybody knows your name). The Friday & Saturday night special is the "Garland Style Prime Rib 'Cooked On Char Broiler'" just the way you want it. It doesn't say in the menu, but I'm guessing it's 12oz of soft, succulent, tender, juicy & very flavorful steak. The lovely ladies are very friendly & attentive. One thing to note is that it's cash only & there is an ATM inside. Here's a quick list of amenities/offerings: outdoor seating, takeout, bar games, great beer & cocktail selection, karaoke, live music, sports, wheelchair accessible, dance, accepts reservations.

Amazing food and service, thanks Cassie

Food and service is wonderful, definitely call for reservations cause it's a popular destination. Noise level is higher than most, but there is seating outside.

Good wings, friendly service even while being short staffed. Nice place for a pit stop to fill the belly. Clean and reasonably priced.

Love the prime rib there. Can't wait to go back there. Make sure make a reservation on weekends. They can be real busy.

Casual dress and good food. Nothing fancy, but nice and quick. Waitress was friendly. Wings were great and chicken salad was tasty also.

The wings were great, draft beer cheap, and the prime rib was really good.

There is a public dock available just a couple hundred yards away from Tulip's. When we got there at about 11:30 on a Sunday the wait for a table was about 25 to 30 minutes. Plenty of room on the lawn out front to wait and even some outdoor games to play. We were called and seated at about 25 minutes; we had requested a table on the patio so my niece's dog could come along. Tulip's is located in a large Victorian house with a wrap around patio all overlooking the lake, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a summer brunch. Our server was great, friendly and helpful; orders are taken on a tablet and sent wirelessly to the kitchen. The menu has one side of breakfast items and the second side of lunch items. The food is slightly upscale without being overly fussy. There are some vegetarian items and others that can be made vegetarian by just leaving off the meat items. I ended up ordering the classic french toast, others at the table ordered sandwiches, corned beef hash, and omelets. Despite the restaurant being busy the food came out in about 10-15 minutes, all of the food being delivered by several servers; our server did check in to make sure that everything was delivered and that we were enjoying out food. Everyone enjoyed their food, portions were good, the food was well presented. My french toast was very good, carmalized on the outside custardy on the inside, slightly sweet and savory. It was presented with whipped butter and syrup. A nicely done classic and a great brunch. I would highly recommend Tulip's, a great place for breakfast and lunch. It seems like Chautauqua and Mayville have already figured it out and they are busy and doing well.

My wife and her friend had been the day before and wanted to take me back. My wife had the French toast, which she had had the day before, her friend had eggs, toast, and bacon, and I had the brunch madame. Let me warn you, if you order this, you will be a bit surprised when it arrives at your table. It is massive. But beyond being massive, it was perfectly toasty and cheesy on top with layers of ham and Bechemel inside, and it sat in a pool of glistening hollandaise sauce. Our server, Misty, laughed when I told her that it should come with a disclaimer, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten for breakfast. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes and a perfectly soft poached egg nestled on top. To top it all off, the coffee was divine. Misty told us it was from Erie Street coffee and they sell it at the restaurant. Note that if you're going to go here, they close at 2:30. But it's definitely worth the trip and we will definitely be back.

We stopped here based on yelp reviews as we were in the area to check out Kinzua Bridge. The Apple pie latte had a lot of flavor and the breakfast baskets kept us full for quite awhile. I am of the mindset that breakfast is good at any time. Real eggs are always better in the taste and gut feeling. The sausage and hash browns were good sides. I coupled the breakfast/lunch with some pomegranate green tea and a coffee. The tea was delicious. The coffee was a solid choice, it was a special coffee and the scent and flavor were excellent. The sandwiches were unique and enjoyed by my Dad and brother. The reuben was good, but it might have been lunch meat. The service was really good. Everyone we interacted with was awesome. Side story about the service. I forgot my phone in the booth. We called as we were driving away and they had my phone. As we pulled up, a man who worked there ran outside to meet us at the car. Beyond helpful. The restaurant was closed, the answered the phone, and then brought it out. Good food, awesome people and service.
