The home fries were especially memorable -- perfectly cooked with just the slightest crispiness to them. I actually asked the waitress how they got them like that, and she told me they use panko. So good. The staff was very friendly, and the whole place had such a quaint, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like one of those little hometown restaurants you hope to stumble across on a long trip. Kerri was our server and was extremely kind and prompt. After we were sat we had drinks immediately and our order for 3 came within 15 minutes both breakfast and lunch from their menu! The fish, which was fried to a golden perfection, was so big, it had to be cut in half to go on the bun. Two sides came with the fish sandwich special, so I opted for double fries so I had a plate heaping with crinkle cut fries. For dessert, I went with strawberry rhubarb pie, which was heated for a few seconds. The tart mixed with the sweet in the same pie was a great end to a great meal.
