Kerri was our server and was extremely kind and prompt. After we were sat we had drinks immediately and our order for 3 came within 15 minutes both breakfast and lunch from their menu! We ordered an egg sampler, reuben and chicken sandwich. All of which came out hot and fresh. Kerri recommended the onion rings with my sandwich and they did not disappoint! One of our all-time favorite breakfast places! This review is long overdue as we come her every summer. We love the new remodel. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The entire place has an airy modern vibe and has great seating options from single/couples at the counter and larger groups. We enjoy seeing our favorite waitresses who have been there forever. Decided to try this place out for breakfast, but to our disappointment, we were told breakfast was over when we arrived at about 1150. Since we were already there, we decided to stick around and have lunch. The place was pretty busy - it is a SMALL restaurant! Our server was sooo nice and seemed really knowledgeable about the food they offer. I ordered the chili cheese dog with a spicy pickle. The chili was a little sweet for my liking, but I liked that they split the hotdog to grill it so it cooks nicely. The bread was toasted and buttered, which was good, it was just a really heavy meal. My husband ordered a cup of chili and the pulled pork sandwich. He liked the sandwich but also felt that the chili was on the sweeter side. Our friends ordered the burger & chicken wrap. Burger was good, the wrap was unexpectedly hot. The restaurant definitely had that small town vibe to it. I wouldn't be opposed to try it for breakfast! read more

Stopped on a Sunday morning for a bite, before hitting the road home. This is definitely a popular local spot. Karrie was our server & not only was personable (you too Tammy) but knew all the regulars names. Nice local joint, that treated us with the same fun vibe. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table for 4. They have quite a few "table pagers", so it would appear they do get busy & picnic table outside to wait or eat carry out on. There's a counter & handful of tables to sit at inside, with a steady flow of people in/out as it moves at a decent pace. Food was good, everything was cooked properly when brought to table. Breakfast menu is big and has a lot of options including kielbasa, fried egg benedicts, omelet wraps, and lox and bagels. I got the stuffed French toast along with a side of bacon and home fries. The French toast is tasty and comes stuffed with strawberry cream cheese and a side of butter. The home fries are fried the way I like them--soft on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. We loved Schuyler's (pronounced Skyler's)! The staff is so friendly and the food is INCREDIBLE! The coffee is really good, too, which is hard to find at a diner-type place. It's a smaller restaurant but did not feel crowded. It seems like a lot of locals/regulars go there but it was a very welcoming atmosphere for us, as out of town visitors. The service was quick, they were careful with my gluten and dairy allergies, and everything is made from SCRATCH! Prices were reasonable, too. Talk about good old fashion home cooking! Schuyler's is a community staple and has been around this area forever. If you live in the area you already know about what Schuyler's has to offer. If you are new or just visiting it is a must stop, but get there early! Amazing home made breakfast food and lunches and the people there always have a smile on their faces. I got biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns and it was delicious. The gravy had a nice kick to it and the hash was very well seasoned and crips on the outside just the way I like it. This place was packed when we rolled up at around 10:15 a.m. on a Sunday. We walked in and were handed a pager and were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. The wait was a surprising 5 minutes, and we were seated. Both my mom and I ordered the standard breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, however you like them, bacon, potatoes, and your choice of bread. I had scrambled, which were fluffy and creamy. I also tried the wheatberry toast. I want to say the toast is homemade, but I didn't confirm it. But it was good stuff. What a great little place! Went there on a friend's recommendation and was definitely impressed. Atmosphere was quaint, staff was fun, and the food was fantastic. Among all the options, I was really pumped that you can get kielbasa in your omelettes here. They had a lot of great options, I will definitely be back. I wasn't too crazy about the cheese on my eggs. Looks like an American cheese single folded in half and melted but it didn't affect my rating so it wasn't that big of a deal. This is a classic country breakfast place. Meals are heavy and are cooked home style. The food is delicious and portions are just right. The place can get crowded and have a wait, but this is one of the better breakfast options in the Jamestown area, all else equal. Definitely not a place for a health freak to eat though. We found this wonderful place this morning due to feedback from Yelp. This is a great little diner with a hometown feel. Small dining room with a food bar with stools as well as a bunch of tables with no more room for anymore. Very crowded to get as much seating as possible but you sit REAL CLOSE to the other guests. We were greeted immediately by a lady cashing people out. Very pleasant staff who were all friendly and very talkative. We were able to be seated right away. Waitress came over within minutes and got our coffee going and the coffee kept coming until we left. Our cups never got below half full. It was good coffee too. We ordered the stuffed French toast and while it wasn't bad it wasn't anything special either. Nothing fancy in the presentation and just regular bread was used. We also ordered the egg scramblers with bacon and came with cinnamon raisin toast but they offered about 4 types of bread to come with it. It was a generous portion with a great amount of bacon which was good. Considering how busy it was the food came out quickly and it was hot and tasted good. One of my pieces of toast was a bit burnt but ate it anyway. Our bill was just over $18.00 for two meals and the 2 coffees. The service was great. Servers knew the guests and engaged in conversations. Lots of people coming in who knew each other so it is definitely a "local" place. Even tho busy and people were waiting for tables we never felt rushed and were actually poured more coffee even tho we were trying to leave to free up space. We are definitely coming back. Biggest frustration would be having to wait because there isn't much space to wait and kind of clog up the doorway when waiting. If your group is more than 4...it will be tough getting seated...not much seating available for groups more than 4. We'll he back. The staff was great.
