Established in 2000.
Nadia Heffner is owner and manager of Double H Horse Farm. She has been involved with horses for over 25 years, half of that was spent on a training farm. She competed in 4-H throughout her youth, at open shows and on the Quarter Horse circuit. Her show-ring experience includes Western and English pleasure and equitation as well as showmanship, barrel racing, pole bending and team penning. In recent years, she has spent her time starting young horses under saddle-an area in which she specializes at Double H Horse Farm.
In January of 2008 Nadia took on the Midwest Mustang Challenge. She had 100 days to tame and break a wild mustang, then compete in Madison, Wisconsin. Out of 200 trainers only 50 were selected to compete in this competition. She and Westie had a great time and performed well. It took a lot of hard work and heart to accomplish all of the skills that Westie

Meet the Business Owner: Nadia H.
Nadia Heffner is a member of the American Riding Instructors Association and certified in Western Level I. Nadia has many years of experience and knowledge with horses. She started riding lessons at the age of 7 and started competing at the age of 9 in 4-H, open and AQHA shows. The events she competed in, include Western, English, showmanship, equitation, horsemanship, barrels, poles, and team penning. Nadia has specialized in colt starting, and problem solving training, but continues to broaden her knowledge. In the past few years she has increased her pleasure and reining techniques, while working with multiple mentors. She uses a variety of methods so she can tailor a program to each horse. One of her great accomplishments was gentling and training Westie a wild mustang in 100 days and competing in the Midwest Mustang Challenge.
