The staff were consistently so friendly and welcoming especially when I brought in friends to try out the range for the first time. I went here more times than I can count and I had a consistently great experience. I am bummed out that I had to move to the East coast for a new job but will definitely come back and visit the next time I'm in the DFW area. You won't find a nicer gun range for a better price than at Frisco Gun Club. An additional bonus of coming here is that even the clientele are very nice and have that southern hospitality.

I love being able to talk and joke about a range of things ( pun intended ). The range is clean and ran with safety as a priority. The only issue I have is my fat ass feels like I'm about to break their chairs. That's more a "me" issue though. I think I will only shoot here as I feel like family when I am there. This place is huge--two floors of sporting goods wonderland with a giant fish tank arch on the first floor! There are tons of Texas and Dallas Cowboys-themed photo ops, a literal Ferris wheel inside the store, and a massive café with food options, beef jerky bar, and tons of fudge and candied nuts. Bonus points for the staff--everyone I came across was genuinely kind, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there :)

I took by boat in to get a new fish finder installed I purchased from them. I get it back and the…read moreboat is damaged. Unfortunately, I didn't see it during pickup nor was I really looking. I stopped 15 minutes down the road to fuel the boat up and noticed where they ran something into the bump rail one the front of the boat. It ripped the rail, cracked the fiberglass, etc. I called them immediately and they started a review process. They supposedly looked at all their camera footage and said nope, we didn't do it. ABSOLUTE BS. I'm sure they get people blaming them for stuff they didn't do but I am not one of those people. Now I am stuck with getting it repaired myself. If they have footage of every minute the boat was there, they would see it happened there. As a side note, you couldn't damage the boat while it was on my truck with where the damage was. It has to be disconnected from the vehicle for this damage to happen. Oh, also, the boat had greasy hand prints on it. In itself, not a big deal but when you consider that, and arguing with me, they do not care about their customers. I am cancelling my Cabela's card and will never shop their again. I will also warn everyone I know of this type of service. DO NOT SHOP AT CABELAS.....

One of the range hands looked to be 20 at best. Young enough to be our kid. Anyway, he kept asking about my gun case because I had a .40 sitting in it and not at the shooting area. I had explained to him I wanted to shoot it, but they didn't have .40 ammo. He didn't like that my case was open with the gun inside. He asked my friend to close my case which my friend did. I finished going through my two mags, went back to our area and noticed my case closed. My buddy said, "The kid was nervous it was opened and asked me to close it". No big deal, all good. Except, we were asked to leave by another range employee because he didn't like us referring to the other guy was "the kid". There was no harm intended. We weren't being derogatory, it was simply a description, the young man could have been our kid so my friend referred to him as ". The kid ". We were kicked out because of that. It won't hurt them, it won't hurt my friend, and it won't hurt me....but he nor I will return. I get safety issues. I get hate speech, but this was ridiculous

The area became crowded in a short time with people needing help in getting their shoe sizes from the back. He remained very composed and calm as he helped each customer. Henever had an attitude once. Khaleel, thank you for a great shopping experience. I will choose your store before I go somewhere else, based on service.
