Went to get my slide cerakoted and they originally told me it would only be $60 and that it wouldn't take to long since there was only one person ahead of me and they where getting the same color they told me to come in around 2 weeks later and they told me it was $160 I just decided to pay and not make a big deal out of it but around a week later the cerakote is already peeling off would not recommend read more

Took a shotgun in there to be inspected, went in 3 weeks later and they still hadn't even looked at the gun or try to diagnose the issue. And when I asked to have my gun back, the disdain and lack of wanting to help was apparent. Will not be back! Expect better service from a small town small business. read more

I was excited to do business with celina gun shop at first, I bought a rifle from them that they had previously serviced before it was sold on consignment. After taking it to the range it was clear that multiple features on the guns were not working properly. I took it back to them to explain and show my concerns with the rifle. After 2 weeks of them having it and not hearing back from them, I call them and was told that their gun smith has taken a look at it but needed to talk to the owner about what to do. 4 more weeks go by (week 6 total) and I still haven't heard from them so I show up to ask if it's ready for pick up. I was told that the gun smith and the owner still cannot determine the issues on the rifle and they ask to have another 2 weeks to look at it more and have another gun smith look at it. At week number 8 I did not hear back from celina gun shop so I went to pick up my rifle only to find out that they still haven't figured out the issues. I brought them a loaner rifle of the same make and model and was told that they would use it to swap parts and identify the issue then get a hold of me before the weekend. Friday of week 8 goes by and celina gun shop does not reach out to me. Saturday I show up to pick up my rifle but was told that they weren't able to fully look at it Friday and just didn't think to get a hold of me before the weekend like the owner said he would. I asked the owner what he would do if he was in my position, he asked to keep it till Tuesday and then he will get ahold of me. I had to watch him set a reminder in his phone to contact me since the shop had failed to do so for the previous 8 weeks. Tuesday comes, I get a call in the early afternoon saying that one issue could not be identified bro resolved but that the other issue was "1000 times better" according to the owner. After arriving and picking up both of my rifles, I expecting at least one of the issues to be resolved only to find out both issues are still the same and that neither are "1000 times better" like I was told. After over 8 weeks, along giving them a loaner rifle to swap parts, having multiple people look at it other than their gun smith, not being contacted during the 8 week period. The rifle I bought from them that they have serviced, sold on consignment at a price due to the service done to it by celina gun shop, still had the same issues from when I bought it. I wanted to give celina gun shop a chance and was really hoping for them to make it right to at least identify the causes of the issues of the rifle they had serviced and sold. Due to the lack of service, communication, professionalism, I will not be using nor recommending this gun shop for anything. read more

Genuinely like heading to the Celina Gun Shop. Great people, good service and quality work. I find the ammunition prices to be hard to beat as well. Recently got a subtle black kryptek cerakote on a Glock 40 slide. Looks good and the Dawson Precision fiber optic sights are solid. They also put together a connector and spring kit for me that has cleaned up the trigger significantly. read more

This shop has no idea what they are doing when it comes to gunsmithing, not only did they completely strip out my stock screw on my R700 but they also didn't put the trigger assembly together correctly. The lady there is very rude while the guys were nice. I took it in for a simple muzzle threading and it took them 2 weeks longer than they told me it would take and they managed to break my gun while doing it. Will never come back. read more

This shop has a poor selection of firearms and an even worse sense of customer service. You'd think a small operation like this would specialize in online orders and the like. Good luck with that, they don't want the business. The owner and his wife are extremely rude and unreasonable to work with. Go elsewhere. The only reason I gave them two stars is because I saw a reasonable deal on a glock, but I won't shop there out of principle because of their attitude towards customers. read more

This shop is terrible! Took them 2months to cerakote my rifle. Then when I got it back I was missing several parts and the parts I received were partially coated with metal showing through on some areas. Unorganized! Stay AWAY! Terrible customer service. read more

If you want to see a humongous store with boat loads of typical inventory, "experienced" staff that's still making minimum wage, and employees that look like they should be on Prozac, then I suggest you go to a big box store. Hey, we all do that. I still do. But if you want to go to a store with interesting inventory, competent staff that... well, who knows how much they make, and employees that are seemingly addicted to crazy meds, then this is the place to go. The prices are fairly competitive. The staff has amazing customer service and an incredible sense of humor. And in the past few months, they have grown from a rinky dink mom and pop store run out of a backyard shed to a well organized machine with too many customers to count. Despite that, they still make me feel like I'm their one and only customer. read more

I turned in a Glock 19 gen 5 to them on July 21st 2018 for stippling, front slide serrations, and cerakote. The price they quoted was reasonable and told me it would be a 2-3 week turn around which would have been fantastic. However after various mishaps and being told to at different times what exactly was finished on my gun and other times those supposedly finished things were in the process of being done, I received the news on September 27th ( two months and over a dozen games of phone tag later) that they had burned a hole in the frame of my pistol. To their credit they did replace the gun (however the slide of the original with the serrations was not included even after seeing pictures of it completed.) Dave was apologetic at the time and even promised cash, then later a gift card for my time and destruction of my property neither of which were followed through on. All in all I would say they are well intentioned people who appear to be great with cerakote but in terms of serious gun customization are lacking. After the debacle I took the new firearm to a different shop that did fantastic work. read more
