This is my go to nail salon. I've been to a lot of others and this one is by far consistently my favorite. I usually get full set gel acrylic with Angie but seems she's not back at the salon since it's reopening. I had Angela do my nails today, gel manicure and they came out beautiful! Always quick and easy. No fuss no miss salon. You feel welcomed and comfortable. We now have to wear full face masks and get sprayed down with disinfectant, no problem. I like they are going the extra mile to make sure everyone is safe. Prices are just right and quality is the best. From the outside it looks a little off but the inside is so so nice. I was excited to try this place as I hate getting my nails done. 1) the techs keep trying to upswell every single thing. And keep insisting. You sure you don't want it? 2) I got many gel mani & reg pedi 5 days ago. And all my gel nail on hand has lifted and a few have come off completely. 3) the pedicure is one of the worst. I came to this salon to get my underarms and full legs waxed. The tech started with my underarms and I didn't let her touch my legs at all. She was very rough when pulling the strips and wouldn't hold my skin properly prior to pulling. When she started cleaning up the wax after .. It was a nightmare --she kept tugging on my skin. And I had to tell her she was being too rough. I have waxed myself at home before. This was the first time I came to a salon for a wax thinking it'd be better than my at-home wax but I was completely wrong. 7 hours later and my underarms are swollen, red, and irritated. I'm not exaggerating when I say it feels like she ripped a layer of my skin off. This salon may have great reviews for nails but they need a better tech for waxing. read more

After my initial review, the manager reached out to me and offered to fix my nails. I was very surprised and happy to see that he had acknowledged my dissatisfaction from my visit, so I went in to get them fixed. I was able to get a nail tech (Mindy) who listened to how I actually wanted my nails vs. what I got and the results were amazing. The fact that the manager cared about the negative review they were receiving and were completely willing to help fix my nails made me change my views on this nail salon. Went in on my lunch and was so amazed!! Definitely a Hidden Gem. I'm not a real big on crazy designs or bright colors but i am VERY PARTICULAR about the shape and thinness of my nails. Terrible. Sloppy. Unsanitary. I have a high pain tolerance and the nail tech was basically Edward Scissorhands. He cut my cuticles to the point of gushing, and he couldn't get it to stop the entire time so he just kept going. I took the pic once I got home- still bleeding. I didn't see him clean any of the instruments that he used on me afterward. I got dip powder in lieu of gel and I'm assuming it isn't a one time usage thing. I'm grossed out by the thought of other people using the powder that previously contained my bleeding fingers. The shape is questionable and the powder is 4 layers thick. I prefer nail techs that take pride in their work and go the extra mile of refining their technique. This place is not for me. read more

My nails always come out beyond perfect; he takes so much care and is highly detail oriented. Eddie always has suggestions to offer and has a keen eye for trends, and the skills to execute the newest and cutest designs. I leave with Pinterest/Instagram nails every time and it's such a treat! Unfortunately he was unavailable that day and had to reschedule me with another tech, Tiffany. I came in thinking I wouldn't like the work since I didn't get who I wanted but I instantly blown away by Tiffany's work ! I came the first time and liked it enough to come again. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure and fill but was only given a fill. No pedicure. Also an hour and a half for the fill. The tech spent a really long time fixing my nails telling me the shape was different and all this. Okay cool. He paints the nails and I really don't like how two came out, they looked sloppy so I ask him to fix it. He tells me he has customers waiting. Last I checked, I'm still a customer. I asked if someone else can do it, he looks annoyed then said he can do it. I'm over it. I drove all the way from LA out here because I have the WORST luck with nail salons and thought I had found a good one. Wrong. The manager guy was nice and tried to make it up but honestly I hate my time wasted and I hate bad attitudes. A lot. So I bounced. He charged me $20 but I'm kind of an idiot and believe that people's time matters and even if this guy did a bad job on the polish he did a solid job on the shape so I paid $40 which is what it should have been. . It's really unfortunate that they lost all future business because another customer was waiting while I was still technically a customer. A good friend recommended me this place. Came since probably 8-10 months ago, every month! I always get the SNS service and they do amazing job! The very first time I came to see Tye and he's so talented, but I tried other people there too like Duy, Michelle, Phoebe and Megan, all of them excellent and very talented! The service is excellent since they pick up the phone when ur trying to make an appointment. The owner is usually the one picking up the phone and he always very friendly he tries to help you to find the best time for you to come. I called to make an appointment and was able to pick a time later the same day. Upon checking in, I signed a COVID-19 waiver. I was then given a face shield that was mandatory to wear over my face mask. Lastly, I was sprayed with a light mist of a sanitizing spray to my front and back. This took two minutes and I was shown right to my seat for my pedicure. This was my fifth or so time coming to double OO and I have always enjoyed my pedicures. Update: my nails broke! I'm so frustrated!!! These nails only lasted 5 days. 2 of them started cracking after 3 days. 70.00 is def not worth it. Save your money. I just called and the man said ombré is 40.00. So why was my amount 70.00? Let me just say first and foremost that Duey is amazing. His work is so clean and perfect. Although some of my nails were crooked and he blamed my nails being like that (of course lol), his overall work is good. I'm not a cheap person, but I've never spent $70.00 just on nails, and no pedicure! :0 -_- I did ombré powder with a design so I can see why it would be a little more costly. I did read how coffin shaped nails with gel is usually 40.00 on Yelp, so I was confused. I felt too embarrassed to ask why I had paid that much. On top of that, the tip too- it just all adds up and is too expensive. I heard a lady yell there at the register when they said her amount was 110.00 and she said huh what?! I don't have that kind of money. It's not about having the money, if you spend that twice a month everything month, you're paying credit card bills or a car payment! LOL LIKE WHAT! If I had done a pedicure, I would have paid more than 100+. If you follow my yelp reviews, I did complain about being told $50 at a rundown place the other day. This place was very clean and nice and the staff there knows what they're doing so I stayed. I mean if you look at the pictures of my nails it looks really nice. I'll preface my review with this: don't talk shit about your clients, in any language. You never know who understands. Went here with a few colleagues for a "fun" catch up date with mani-pedi's after work. I had never been here before but the other girls had and said they liked it so I asked them to book an appt for all 4 of us.. I don't frequent nail salons because my mom is a manicurist of over 35+ years and I usually get my nails done with her but since this was an outing with friends, I made the exception. All I want to say to the nail techs here (and anywhere else) is to never judge or talk shit about your customers because you never know which ones speak fluent Vietnamese and can understand every thing you say. This was the case with me. I asked for just a regular mani-pedi with no bells and whistles. The nail tech I had was disappointed because the 3 other girls I came with chose more expensive options and I didn't, so she started complaining in Vietnamese. Like I said, my mom's a manicurist and I don't need to pay a ton of money to have my nails painted. I only wanted to come here to have fun with my colleagues. The nail tech continued to complain that I was talking too much, that we all were talking too much, that this one (me) only wants a regular mani pedi and is such a waste of her time. The fact is, my service was still $55 before tip. The other girls probably spent well over $150 EACH. The only reason why we came here was because it was my idea to have a girls date and come here. This tech working on my nails probably still got a decent tip (my tab was picked up by one of the other girls as it was on her and I know she paid generously). I didn't mention to the other girls we were being bad mouthed because I didn't want to ruin our time together. I didn't realize that talking and catching up was so frowned upon at a nail salon. We were the only ones on that side of the salon and we weren't being rude, we were just talking about work. The kicker was that I started coughing because of the chemicals and I could hear my tech from ACROSS the store say in Vietnamese "see, she's coughing now because she's been talking so much!" She was just so rude! She could have offered me water, but I guess they don't do that for clients who just want regular services. My mom worked for 35+ years in the industry and she always spoke WITH her clients like they were friends even if she didn't know them. She engaged with everyone. She never talked shit, she never judged, she never bad mouthed her clients in Vietnamese to her coworkers. And this is why she was able to thrive in the industry for so long with loyal clients that stuck with her for decades. The actions of these nail techs makes me embarrassed to be Vietnamese sometimes because there is such a stereotype and they just validated it a little more with this encounter. Do better! Be better! Embrace your culture and background. Go ahead and speak Vietnamese, just don't talk shit! read more

Went twice so that I could give a fair review but each time service was just poor to say the least. The last time I went the lady doing my pedicure cut my toe so bad I couldn't enjoy or even receive the pedicure I paid for. A $10 discount was given on a $65 holiday special pedicure that I could not put my feet in due to the open cut on my toe that the pedicurists inflicted. So I essentially spent $55 for her to dump foot soak and whatever else in the water and rinse it down the drain. My nails were fine but that's it just fine, nothing special and again service was lacking as the lady was expecting me to adjust myself to accommodate her as she does my nails and periodically checks her phone. I don't mind paying $130 for nails and toes but service needs to be worth it and it's not. I would rather pay more to experience great customer service and have competent nail technicians. I will say the guy in the front that appears to be the manager was great! If the nail technicians could adopt his customer service skills this would be a 5 star spot but unfortunately it's giving 2 star service at a 5 star price. read more

My friend and I went in without an appointment and they said it would be a 20 minute wait. We decided to come back later and they treated us like queens! We had our own little private area with our own tv! We also had 4 ladies tending to us (one for hands and one for feet for both of us). NOVA was my manicurist and she was AMAZING! I have never been so unhappy with a nail salon as I am with this one. I not only paid a ridiculous amount of money for just a standard set of nail(short length)and reg. Pedicure. I was over charged $85! And then to top it off I found a wallet outside in the parking lot and left my name and number with the nail salon and surrounding businesses,in case owner came back looking for it. And guess what? the pictures do not lie about the quality of these masterpieces they create! I was skeptical because I have had really awful experiences but here I was treated like a princess :') the nail tech listen to me every step of the way! yes Cindy did mess up with my ring finger but I think the white really complemented the glitter and I've never had SNS so I said why not try it? fuck it lol and honestly I really liked it. it's a tad expensive yes as my nails did come out to $63 with a tip included but so worth it the length is amazing the shape is beautiful and I thought I would have a hard time at work but I managed not to break a nail hahahaha I know exactly where I'll be coming to from now and on a positive Note they have a stamp card for every $20 you spent they give you stamp tip not included so please make sure you spend just enough so you get that stamp My only downside is that after going in the pool yesterday my white tips look yellow so I'm not sure if the paint doesn't sit well with salt water? and I mean if you can fix it that be great thank you so much guys! I have been coming here for about 4 months now and love it! I have probably tried 5 different salons in Corona over the past few years. I started getting dip vs acrylic when I came here. They explained what dip was and made me feel comfortable making the switch. Every tech i have had has been great, I have even brought a couple of friends in. I normally pay $39 for dip nails and they last 3+ weeks. I feel that is a fair price. They have a great stamp card promotion that saves you $20 off a service when filled. Let me say this is the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. I ended up having my manicure done by Rachel and my pedicure done by Michelle. The entire time they worked on my nails, they did not speak to me other than to ask me what color I wanted for my nails. Talk about awkward. They did, however, manage to hold private non-English conversations amongst themselves, many times laughing while looking at me. I don't need to understand the language to know when someone is talking about me. Rachel was rough on my hands and ended up cutting me twice (causing me to bleed) while removing my cuticles. Michelle was also rough on my feet and made me very uncomfortable. I ended up staying for at least an hour after they did my nails to let them air-dry. Another employee came over to check up on me to see if my nails were dry. Shortly after, Michelle came over and placed her finger on top of my nail. My nails were not dry yet, and so it left her fingerprint impression on my nail. I mentioned this to her, but she completely ignored me and went about her way. I brought this up to the other employee that first checked up on my nails, and she ended up fixing my nail. I complained to the manager (Tye) about my service. At first, he was defending his staff. He tried justifying their behavior by saying they do not know English. I informed him that I had been to other nail salons where the staff did not know English, yet they delivered excellent service. I also told him it's entirely inappropriate for his staff to be holding private conversations in front of their customers in a foreign language; that is what breaks are for. He ended up understanding my plight and told me he would speak with his staff regarding their behavior. I am grateful that Tye was able to hear my concerns, but I can say that I am not enthusiastic about this business and will probably not be coming back here again. read more

I LOVED my experience here! I was one of the last people in the store, and I have been in nail salons where they have been irritated or scolded me. I got a pedicure + dip powder full set, so it was a pretty long job. The staff was very gracious and patient and made sure I liked their work before they continued, despite being the last one in. They didn't rush me and took their time on my nails. I worked with Will (who was wonderful and so talented) for my full set and Michelle (who was sweet!) for my pedicure. I was in the area for a span of a few hours and wanted to get my nails done. After reviewing Yelp and checking for close nail salons as I'm not familiar with this city at all I chose Double OO based on their reviews and stars. They are in a non assuming shopping center, the parking is decent and being greeted by TY put an immediate smile on my face, along with not having to wait at all considering I was a walk-in/hope they have time for me kind of customer. I waited only a minute or two for someone to come to me, I was so happy to get my nails done...she didn't greet me nor give me a smile so I don't know her name however after putting my little foil fingers on she left and someone else came over to continue me. My new girl wasn't very conversational or friendly with me at all, in fact I felt like I was annoying the hell out of her just by sitting there. She wasn't pleased that I didn't have a color picked out and put the basket of tons of colors for me to choose from. I decided on ONE powder as they charge to add two, along with the feeling that I was inconveniencing her to help me pick a color. They were all mixed up and maybe she had an idea of what would be pretty, I was wrong. I was left going through the motions of her doing my nails and me having that feeling she was displeased that I was sitting across from her. Who knows, maybe she was sick or having a bad day or maybe she didn't like me. She moved on from me to another customer so that my nails could dry. She came back to me a few minutes later, ran her fingers over my nails and assured they were dry and told me thank you. They don't finish you up with a warm towel and simple oil massage so that your hands feel pretty or again maybe that was just my girl as I watched other techs do it along with the girl who was originally helping me (maybe she didn't like me either ). Maybe I'm spoiled at my regular salon? I paid a pretty penny today ($41 for SNS powder-they charge to take off powder) so I wouldn't think it was too much to ask? They also don't offer drinks or anything special. It's an okay salon and I think if you can get in with a particular nail tech you'll be alright! They also charge to use a credit card BUT if you have cash to add to your bill they won't charge the $1.25. They do guarantee their work for two weeks that's a plus however I won't be taking advantage of that offer. I wish I could have given them a five star review, I really do. Customer service means the world, especially when your paying for a service. It matters past the desk too.
