My wife and I were traveling from California to Florida in March of 2026 and it was unseasonably hot and our air condition wasn't working. Since we were traveling and on a schedule I had to check our itinerary and call ahead to make an appointment in the city where we were going to be in a few days. I called Double T on a Friday and told them my situation and asked if they would be able to help me out on the following Tuesday. They lady on the phone, who was very nice, told me that they were pretty booked, but since we were traveling and living in our motorhome she would ask the tech if they could squeeze me in. I was extremely pleased when she came back and told me that the tech said yes. So I showed up around 9:15 Tuesday morning and they took my motorhome right into the shop and got to work and about 2.5 hours later they had the air conditioner fixed and I was back on the road. We are from Canada visiting USA for the winter, when in El Paso, we had a problem with our Aqua hot 450, one of the circulating pump stopped working in zone 2 and I had a red light on my control board and of course, no heating on zone 2..Phoned double T and they give me a rendez vous very rapidly. They tested the pump and the control board and finally they found a melted wire that was touching a metal part and producing a short on the pump 2, fixed this wire and voila, everything was ok. Double T is listed as an authorized Aquahot repair center. I called to see about an appointment and they managed to squeeze me in the following week. (I'm not from the area - I'm just traveling through so scheduling a week out was perfect). When I arrived, they discovered that I have an LP Aquahot - not the diesel fired unit that they're used to. Nonetheless, they proceeded to diagnose the issue and determined that the igniter was faulty. They confirmed the diagnosis with Aquahot and ordered a new igniter that was delivered a few days later. They installed the igniter and the unit fired right up. After a minor airflow adjustment, the unit is purring right along and we have heat again! The repair cost was reasonable and they worked with me, recommending accommodations for my unplanned stay in the area. NOTE: Lisa (one of the owners) advised me that they will likely drop their authorized repair facility association with Aquahot due to a lack of support from Aquahot. Slow response times to phone calls and email messages has left them (and their customers) frustrated and they don't feel like it's going to improve any time soon. So, feel free to go to Double T for your RV repair needs, but not necessarily Aquahot. read more

We were in need of a mid-trip oil change for our RV, and Double T squeezed us un, saving us not only time and hassle, but also a LOT of money. They're *over $200 CHEAPER* than the place advertising a/c in a fancy lobby. I have a whole RV. I don't need a lobby. I needed a mechanic with skills and a great work ethic, and that is exactly what we got. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, clean, and conscientious. Our experience getting the rv repaired and maintenance done was so much better than I could even ask for!! They treated our rv as if it were their own, they went above and beyond to help me with everything. These guys have so much experience and knew exactly how to fix everything quickly and for a great price. I knew from the first time I called because she asked if we were living in it or had any trips planned, she really cared about helping us. I hope I'm never too far from them when something breaks! These guys came recommended. They seemed to do a fine job putting in a second air conditioner in my Airstream. They were friendly and seemed to perform quality work. The only reason I didn't give them the 5th star was that we worked out a pmt plan for the balance. I got a call less than a week stating the pmt plan was off and to remit pmt. Vacation savers! I was staying at the KOA in Anthony just for a night, heading for Carlsbad Caverns and New Braunfels. In that one night, I managed to have both a water pump failure and a slide-out problem. I called a nearby RV and boat dealer with a good service reputation, but they said they were totally booked for two weeks out and referred me to Double T. When I called them, I learned that they were booked for the day, but the nice lady who answered the phone told me she would call them and see what she could do. Half an hour or so later, she called back with the awesome news that they were on the way! :) They fixed my water system problem and got the slide-out in better shape so I could continue my vacation on schedule. I was traveling through El Paso and stopped because the propane furnace in my trailer was not working. The mechanic that worked on it told me when I arrived that it was working but did not show me and that was my fault for not asking. When I tested it a half hour later it was not working. I called up the owner and asked for a refund which she refused saying that it was working when they tested it. Later in my trip I stopped at an RV service in Indianapolis who tested the system and told me that the converter was bad. The wires on the battery were placed on the wrong terminal's and that had caused the problem . The battery could not maintain a charge high enough to work the igniter on the furnace. The owner of the RV service in El Paso told me they had seen that but didn't do anything about it. I lost a couple of hundred dollars and will never ever go back to the service and would recommend that no one else does either. I learned from this experience that when someone says they fixed something, ask them to show you what they did. Do not take their word for it. read more

We were having a problem with our RV's water heater while passing through El Paso. I called Double T and they were out the next day. They called us the evening before to verify we were on the list with an estimated time of day they would be there and then called 30 minutes prior to arrival. The technician, Jim was quick to find and repair the problem, which turned out to be a bad thermostat. I found there service to be friendly, extremely professional with a very reasonable rate for a mobile service. I would definitely use them again if I had a RV problem while traveling in the El Paso area. read more

I took my Class C in to have a possible propane leak checked. They were so professional and thorough; they told me they would look at it within two days and they did. Contacted because my RV Refer cooling unit had quit working. Responded promptly, part ordered but due to July 4th weekend it was delayed in delivery. The day of install, pulled in and they started on it immediately. RV refer's are a pain to change the cooling unit as it must be removed from the wall and layed face down. The service tech's worked quickly and got it installed in record time I am happy to report that the refer is working great. On a secondary note, I had a basement mount A/C that was not working properly and they arranged for a service tech to come over and repair it. He found a burned wire in the control panel and we were up and running quickly The refer repair was under warranty and the a/c service was fair and reasonable. Very poor customer service over the phone. Their hours are very unreasonable for a service business, I would have to take leave from work just to get there in time. I received a call and rude voicemail asking if I was going to do business with them or not. When I finally had time off from work to take in my camper, the response was abhorrible "well, I GUESS you can bring it in." I decided not to take it in, feeling like they were doing me a favor by receiving my business, and I got another call, even ruder than the last. I don't know what their repairs are like, and I never will. read more

I was passing through town and my satellite dish quit working. Camping world was less than helpful and would sell me a new dish but said they were too busy until next week. Even though double T was booked with other services they fit me in and installed a dish in about and hour and a half. Great service at a reasonable price. read more
