We ordered the chicken tinga tacos, along with guacamole and chips. The chicken was super flavorful and tender, with queso, microgreens, onions. SO delicious. I did find the price a little overly steep ($5 per taco). I'll always pay more for good food, but for what it was, these were a bit expensive. Guacamole was extremely fresh and a little chunky (instead of overly smooth), which is exactly how I love it. Just be aware that since it's just one person cooking inside the truck, it'll be a decent wait for your food. But it was very tasty!

A Wonderful Experience at Black Raven Kitchen…read more I stopped at Black Raven Kitchen at the Walkway Over the Hudson entrance in Poughkeepsie while deciding whether or not to walk across the walkway in the heat. I ordered a drink and something to eat, and from the moment I met owners Daryl and Shannon, I was so impressed by how genuinely kind, sincere, and friendly they were. The food was heated perfectly and absolutely delicious, and the drinks were excellent. But what really stood out was the way they cared for me when I started feeling overheated after leaving the stand. Daryl and Shannon immediately came to help, stayed right by my side, and brought me ice packs and water until I felt better. Their kindness and concern went far beyond what anyone could expect from a quick stop for food and drinks. They truly made a difference for me that day. Black Raven Kitchen has wonderful food and drinks, but it's the people behind it who make it special. Daryl and Shannon are two amazing people who clearly care about their customers. They worked with their schedule to make sure they could still be part of our event when we were finally able to get underway three weeks later. Everyone--players, volunteers, and staff--absolutely loves visiting their truck and getting their fill of delicious treats. Kristine and Jeanette are always so enthusiastic, friendly, and welcoming to everyone. We also have special requests from one of our sponsors, and they always make sure to have his favorites in stock. That level of personal attention and customer service is truly appreciated. This is our second year having Curbside Confections as part of our fundraising event, and we sincerely hope they will continue to be a part of it for many, many years to come. They are a wonderful addition to our event, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support!
