This is a fine restaurant that provides consistency, excellent service and excellent fresh food. The only drawbacks are due to the popularly of this restaurant. One has to get there quite early for dinner to have any chance of getting in. I'm also quite disappointed that they won't delinate the orders for a table. For example my order and my wife's order can't be separated from my sister and brother in law's order despite the two orders being quite different in price. I hate to do this, but the food was so disappointing, I have to warn others. Don't get me wrong. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is really nice. When we got there on a Thursday around 2, the dining room had about 4 people there. There was also a bright outdoor seating area which looked great. Basically, this restaurant is set up to be a good experience -- except for the food. I had the falafel platter (almost $19). My husband had the gyro platter (an eye-popping $25!). My hubby shared his Greek salad and bread. A-OK so far, but then things went down hill. My falafel was mushy and flavorless. The side of babaganoush was also flavorless. The pita was cold. The side of steamed veggies was bland. No sauce, no seasonings. I felt sorry for locals who think this food is actually falafel. They need to taste REAL falafel because this was a poor imitation. The gyro plate came with plain rice and more steamed veggies. Sorry to use the word "bland" again. We got the salmon pasta to go ($34) for a friend which came with more steamed veggies. I get the feeling they steam a huge pot of veggies and just put it on every plate. The menu is pretty simple. The same things in different rearranged order. I get the feeling the "chef" is staying away from more complicated dishes. It's probably for the best, because as simple as the food is, it's still below par. I'm a Greek American. I have been going here for years starting in 2002. The owner has always been right on the floor greeting everyone that enters and making sure you are happy and attended to. The food is alway fresh and tasty. All the familiar Greek specialties with specialty items listed on the menu. Everything is available to go and always fresh. Sometimes the parking lot is full but that is a testament to the great food served and the way you get treated. read more

Stopped in with some friends for dinner around 7pm on a Friday. The restaurant was packed, but luckily a big table opened up when we got there so we didn't wait too long to get seated. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and was surprisingly blown away by the side of Caesar salad. The dressing is homemade and it was delicious. Although the side salad was pretty big, it left me wanting more. It may have been one of the best Caesar salads I've had. The Chicken Souvlaki was solid. The chicken was tender, but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed by the side of plain boiled veggies. Big portions for every dish so I recommend sharing if you're not too hungry. If you can't decide what to order and love a good salad, I recommend going with the Caesar as your main dish. You won't regret it! read more

This place is the real deal-i've been coming here now for years to meet a friend and I travel 1.5 to 2 hours each way for dinner because it's worth it! We always both end up getting the Branzino fish special which is the entire fish including the head and all and it is perfect. It is cooked with some olive oil, and is light and flaky and It also comes with potato or rice and vegetables. Today it was carrots, squash, and some really tasty kale and we both decided on the baked potato. All the entrees come with either a Caesar or a Greek salad, which in itself would be enough for a full meal. The portions are very generous and you can't beat the price compared to other similar places especially anything near Westchester or New York City. They always provide homemade baked bread as well, which is delicious with garlic butter. If you are a fan of Greek Food, you have to try this place. The owner is super friendly and comes by to thank each table personally and ask how their meal is etc. it's a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and they have some outdoor tables you can sit outside during the nice weather. The service is always exceptional as well, and the food comes out quickly and is always delicious. I look forward to my once or twice yearly dinners here and wish it was closer so I could come more often! Don't forget to save room for all their amazing homemade desserts! read more

Wasn't even able to eat there because we had our foster dog with us (after a hike) and they flat out said "no, you can't have the dog" when asked if we could sit with her in their outdoor space. It was over 80 degrees today so I wasn't leaving her in the car. read more

Giant servings and everything was delicious. We had a large group and service was just right. Salads come in what I could describe as a small mixing bowl-they were so big! I think I had the pasta-it's been 3 months since my first visit. We'll be in the area later this month and plan to go again. My brother knows the owner from when him and his partner had a place on Northern BLVD. it is still there he went upstate and his partner said in Queens. The food is fantastic. I love the Lamb Gyro's. No matter what you buy there you will love. From the time it opens to the time it closes there is lines outside waiting to take out. Came here today and omg the food is still fantastic! My husband had a lamb Gyro, which he said was perfectly done and I had a salmon burger, which was a thick piece of fish on a bun with lettuce, tomato and onion with a side of tzatziki sauce and it was delicious. We both had the white bean soup which was loaded with beans and flavor. The dessert called Ekmek is also fantastic. It's something that you must get when you come here. The owner comes to every table to say hello and the servers are super friendly. Love all the Greek decor too! Great place! read more

Cone here whenever we are in Liberty. Actually this time we were in Monicello but knew it was worth the trip. This small Greek cafe is one of the few eateries in this area that serves delicious homemade food. The owner claims that the food is made from scratch and that statements rings true. There's a nice outdoor area where mint, green oregano, and basil are growing and proof of the herbs that go into your food. Great People-Great Greek Food and plenty of it. We took out a feast of Spinach Pie, Grape leaves, Gyro and Greek Salad to bring to our daughter's home near the Peekskill NY area and her birthday celebration.
