    Breakfast at the Cafe,
    Neshea V.

Spent the weekend here for the Mens conference at our church. The whole stay was GREAT. Everything from getting a HOT FRESH CChocolate chip cookies whenever we wanted one. The plus of staying at a Double Tree. The room was clean, an all the amenities were available. The housekeeping staff were really nice and cleaned our room thoroughly. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We were able to check out the breakfast buffet which was very good. You also have the option of ordering food instead of eating the buffet. We took a walk a block away and found a Starbucks, a Circle K and a bakery that sold fresh deserts and Boba. There's a Jersey Mike's across the street also, so we were covered if we didn't want to eat at the Cafe. Overall it was a wonderful stay, we will definitely be booking here again.

I like this hotel. It was clean and front desk staffs were nice. Quiet and not noisy like other hotels except one thing it was too dark inside the room even all lights are on. Other than that this place is a good to stay if you're around the area for whatever reason is.

Need to heal from this horrific accident in a decent hotel, but Hampton, made that IMPOSSIBLE, and totally hindered my recovery.

I was in a bad car accident, and I was trying to sort out rooms. They said when I checked in, that I could extend my stay if needed, but when the time came to do that, they said "Sorry, we already booked your room and you have to leave!" I called the front desk to ask how long the people staying in the accessible room would be there, because I have to use a walker for two fractures in my knee. I said "will they be there one night or a week, because I can possibly stay at my sister's for a night while waiting for a vacant room?" Then this guy starts yelling " WHY are you asking me all these questions?? I don't like all these questions! It's very suspicious! We're a business, we're not here to help people!" If you're a senior OR a woman, this is NOT the place for you! I was crying in the lobby, and they could care less!!! And, the refrigerator in the room didn't work, so all my yogurt went bad, the only thing I could keep down in this pain! * I DO have to give a shout out to GRACE the bartender....now THAT is the sweet, COMPASSIONATE type of employee you need MORE of!!!!!!!!

So I booked at double tree Hilton last Friday August 15th. I booked one night for 46k points. I used 50k points and I booked the next night for 173.00 dollars. That Friday night there was spiders and the toilet wasn't flushing. I got there after 8 pm and I stayed the night since I was tired and didn't want to back and forth. I cancelled the next day and asked to cancel for Saturday and requested a refund. Instead my free night for 46k points was taken and I was still charged 88.00 dollars. I'm a gold member Derek I'm extremely loyal to you guys and I'm booking again tonight . Do the right thing and refund me my money and points please Here's proof of how wrong they did me

I chose this hotel because of the DoubleTree name, expecting a clean, comfortable stay and decent service. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. When I got into bed, I discovered a liner pad under the blanket--something you should never find in a hotel room, especially one under the Hilton brand. It was not only unsettling but also raised serious questions about cleanliness and hygiene standards. I reported this immediately to the front desk, expecting a room change or at least some kind of apology or accommodation. Instead, the front desk manager refused to change the room, refused any kind of compensation such as breakfast, and assured me that a manager would follow up. No one ever called. For a brand that claims to care about guest experience, this was a total letdown. Poor service, lack of accountability, and questionable cleanliness. I will not be staying here again and can't recommend it to anyone expecting basic hospitality standards. Due to the unsanitary condition of the room and the hotel's refusal to address the issue, I will be filing a formal complaint with the State of California's Department of Public Health and lodging a customer service complaint with Hilton corporate. This stay was a serious disappointment, and I will not be returning. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

Free parking. Breakfast included. All day coffee. Across the street is a huge mall with unlimited dining choices and a Whole Foods. Sounds good, right? And it is... Except for noise insulation. Of which there is none. I could hear people talking and walking and watching tv around and above our room. And every time a toilet in at least one room near us flushed, it sounded like Niagara Falls. I did not get much sleep, and that's kind of the point of a hotel.

The Hilton app is actually very good -- it's clean, fast, and easy to book reservations. That part works well. Where things fall apart is when your plans change. I recently needed to make a simple change to a reservation. I tried chat first -- no help. Then I called the Hilton 1-800 number and spent 17 minutes on the phone only to be told there was nothing they could do. I also called the hotel twice early in the morning with no answer. At this point, I'll likely have to track down the hotel manager myself to resolve it. By the time this is done, I'll have spent close to an hour just trying to make a basic change -- and there's still no guarantee it will be waived. Meanwhile, my business plans shifted and I've already booked another Hilton stay at a different location. That's the frustrating part -- I'm staying loyal to the brand, but the system doesn't support flexibility. Airlines have figured this out. Hilton hasn't. As a Diamond member, I expect better. Instead, I feel like I'm working against the system rather than being supported by it. If Hilton can fix the change/cancellation experience, they'd be best-in-class. Until then, business travelers should be aware -- booking is easy, but changes can cost you time and money.

It was really kind of him to do so. We informed him we would be out before even check out but appreciate it the offer. Alex also started us on their reward program and informed us how it works and gave us a discount if we like to dine in or order room service. Now in days is hard to find people that are genuine and overall deliver good customer service. We're very satisfied with Alex's help and I definitely recommend you staying here. Moshin at the front desk was efficient, professional, and fully engaged from the moment I approached. While I was waiting, another associate appeared available but never looked up or acknowledged me, not even a quick "I'll be with you in a moment or my associate will be with you in a moment." That lack of basic engagement was noticeable. That said, Moshin's exceptional service completely shifted my overall impression. Because of him, I'm leaving this as a positive review. He represents the level of hospitality guests hope to experience.

You have to park in a large structure behind the hotel in a business center. They do offer valet for a up charge. The hotel itself is nice and modern. However, the elevator coming down can be very slow, especially if on a high floor. The room was clean and spacious, and had a beautiful view. Housekeeping was very present in the hotel. I saw multiple housekeepers on one hallway, and the overall cleanliness showed. They also offer stay over service, which is appreciated. On the downside the TV was very outdated no smart features, just basic cable. Also for the price the hotel, it's lacking amenities. There is no pool or hot tub just a gym, which is disappointing for this price point. Overall, it was a great stay, especially for the convenient location. There are definitely areas of improvement, considering the cost.

I owe special thanks to Amy & Michelle for making our stay and breakfast extra special, as they went above and beyond making us feel very welcome and that we had everything we needed in the M Lounge and at breakfast. I very much remembered them and their stellar service from my previous stay there in July. They exemplify the excellence associated with the Marriott brand, allowing us to get along with our day and to our local destinations. The room was very clean, modern and had nice views from its balcony. The breakfast buffet and M Lounge are top notch, especially since I am vegan and was able to enjoy not one but three items from the buffet: delicious breakfast potatoes, a yummy sauteed vegetable blend and oatmeal. Other than my stays at Aloft properties which offer great plant-based breakfast sandwiches, this was the first time I had a breakfast at a Marriott property that had enough vegan items where I felt full, satisfied and ready to enjoy my day. The location is very ideal, situated adjacent to a beautiful park, close to many shops and restaurants and not far to the freeway. The pool area is very nice; I enjoyed a cocktail at the pool bar where a great DJ was playing great music and then enjoyed a relaxing time at the pool. Most of all, all the staff we encountered were truly amazing and without a doubt not only meet but exceed the high Marriott standards.
