Always love their pizza. Great crust. They also have a menu with sleet portion of salads and pasta. I highly recommend this place.

Doughboys is not just about pizza. They have a good menu of choices and dinner dish didn't disappoint. There 2 sizes of dinner. Large and larger. I chose the larger and it was huge. Starts of mf with a salad and garlic rolls. Then the main course. The sauce was sweet and tasty. Lots of cheese on the eggplant parmigiana. A generous portion of angel hair. I was Hambre but couldn't finish it. I love their food. And time Bech it's not just about pizza.

Very good delivery of pizza and chicken wings, I would have been a bit embarrassed sending the amount of celery that they did but the pizza was flavorful and liked the crust. Price was a little on the high end though. We had the carnivore pizza.

Great food, Excellent pizza, and they have a good lunch menu. Came here for a quick lunch, the food came out fairly quickly. I had the manacotti and an eggplant parmesan with a side of meatballs and garlic rolls. The Margherita pizza is also an excellent choice! Everything was savory, and flavorful. Reminds me of a typical NY pizzeria. You can't go wrong!

I ordered a small cheese calzone but received something filled with pepperoni, ham and other meat products. The calzone was cooked perfectly but I did not want any meat.

Ordered delivery. The dough was soggy, the sauce meh, and the toppings tasteless. There's not much to say except it was eatable but I'd prefer Digiorno over this.

Large Chicken Parmigiana w/ spaghetti & garlic rolls, already ate the fresh salad.

The Best Real Chicken breast hand breaded on site, fresh garlic rolls & salad. Casual dining restaurant you order at the counter & they bring your food. Self serve soda fountain. Ambience is ok, but could use some back ground. Still the best casual Italian restaurant.

I just love this place. I went back and forth about whether this was a 4 or a 5, but overall, it's a 5. This is a no-frills Italian restaurant, meaning you order at the counter and they serve you at a table of your choice. Sometimes you get silverware, sometimes you get plasticware, and the drinks are in plastic disposable cups. All these things add up to a good quality restaurant that everyone can afford. In fact, one of the best aspects of this restaurant is that for about $18, you get a respectable portion, but for $22 you get double the amount! I have gotten four meals out of one of their large orders. Another reason we keep coming back is the folks are nice, especially the lady who's usually at the cash register. Very good pizza. I'm actually not a huge fan of their sauce, but this is such a reliable, consistent, restaurant that is such a good value that I recommend it to anyone without reservation. Doughboys, may your business thrive for many years to come!

Ordered well done pizza - yet it's floppy and lost half my slice.
Justin S.

Cold pasta, sauce with no flavor - "well done pie" yet it's floppy. Not worth the money

Let me start by saying that the staff here was amazing. They were very friendly and attentive. When we got our food, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the pizza slices. They were huge! With that being said, I wasn't a huge fan of the taste of the pizza. I was a little too bland for me, but my son enjoyed it. All in all this is a good pizza spot, it just wasn't to my liking.

Veggie pizza

The veggie traditional crust was really good. I had take out, as I was staying at the Embassy Suites across the road. There's a ton of toppings on the pizza, which made it a little hard to eat, but it was good nonetheless. The crust was very light and crunchy.

Yummy pizza. Always good. I like pizza that a little greasy and doughy. Hard crust pizza isn't pizza if you're from the Midwest.

I don't like writing negative reviews, especially because I had previously enjoyed this restaurant…read moreand even recommended it to friends. I'm often the person my group relies on to choose restaurants, so I was genuinely excited to have our group meet here based on my past experiences and what I thought would be a great atmosphere for watching a game. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning, as the interaction with management completely overshadowed everything else. I organized a reservation for a party of 10 after learning that an industry colleague was planning corporate group outings at the restaurant. The restaurant also heavily promotes itself as a destination for watching sporting events and accommodating large groups, which made it feel like a perfect fit. I made the reservation several days in advance and received both email and text confirmations, including a separate text from a manager confirming our party of 10. One member of our group arrived early with a few friends and began ordering food and drinks while waiting for the rest of the party. They also asked if our tables could be seated near each other once everyone arrived. It was at that point that the situation began to deteriorate. The manager insisted there was no reservation for 10 people and claimed the system only showed five, despite the confirmations we had on hand. Another member of our group who also had a reservation for 10 attempted to clarify this but was told by the general manager that he "didn't care what the confirmations showed" and that he had the final say. When several members of our group called the restaurant to try to resolve the issue--since we were actively arranging Ubers and wanted to clarify before heading over--the conversation became increasingly confrontational. Instead of attempting to understand the discrepancy or offer any solution, the same dismissive tone continued. I also called myself in an effort to de-escalate, but was met with an unprofessional and condescending response, with the manager stating he was not going to tolerate our party's behavior and abruptly saying, "I just cancelled your reservation." Having worked in and around the restaurant industry and growing up with a father who was a chef and restaurant owner, I understand that mistakes happen and systems aren't perfect. I've also worked in multiple roles within the industry, so I'm familiar with how these situations are typically handled, and I've never encountered that level of hostility directed at guests over a reservation issue. What I don't understand is meeting paying customers with hostility instead of professionalism. A simple willingness to investigate or problem-solve could have completely changed the outcome. Since we were unable to have a productive conversation with the manager, the friends who were already seated left. The rest of us Ubered to meet them elsewhere, and our group ultimately spent the rest of the evening, and our business, somewhere else instead. It's especially disappointing because the food has always been good, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Customer service starts at the top, and unfortunately, the interaction with management overshadowed everything else. I sincerely hope ownership takes this feedback seriously, as the restaurant clearly has potential. Based on this experience, and reflecting concerns others have raised as well, I can't recommend it for large group reservations.

We had finally arrived at our hotel after long travel delays yesterday. It's super annoying that I…read morechecked the box on my online order that said to include plates, utensils and napkins--and they failed to see that. We're in a hotel room with just running water and a microwave. Thank you for making it that much more sloppy to eat. Worse yet, their driver apparently couldn't be bothered to meet me in person. He was in such a hurry around 1100pm to have simply left my pizza balanced on the gate to a publicly accessible hotel--for anyone to take. And I paid a gratuity for that level of service. I'll be sure to remember and share my experience with others at Patio Bar & Pizza in the same spirit.

I've probably been to the Luigi's about five times since I wrote my first review in 2018 and every…read moresingle meal I've had here has been insanely good. On our last visit we split the lentil soup, the meatballs, the sauteed vegetables with peperoncini and olives, and a pizza. Everything was super fresh and delicious! Also the portion sizes are very generous, we had tons of leftovers. The only possible criticism I could think of is that the tables are really small. Even if you're ordering the pizza it's pretty cramped, imagine with appetizers and whatnot. A little difficult. Additionally, they get super crowded especially on the weekends and seating is very limited, even with the outdoor tables in the parking lot. But other than that, this place is fantastic, and the service is great too! Nearly forgot to mention that. Overall I have to give Luigi's another 5 star rating. They're easily one of my favorite restaurants in all of Fort Lauderdale. Check it out!

Service! My husband called to ask if they had lunch specials…read moreand they said they did until 4pm. We walk over, sit down and ask what the lunch specials are and the waitress says they don't have any. When we told her we had called she said well the only special is the personal 8" pizza with up to 3 toppings. Then she says there is a lunch size house or cesar salad. There are no lunch prices listed anywhere. When we ask her for the prices, she has to look it up on her handheld ordering machine. She says the salads are $7.95 and the pizzas are $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. We each order a lunch salad and a personal pizza with up to 3 toppings. Salad was a good size. Pizza was OK. Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. She said she was sorry but didn't offer anything to make it right. I shook my head, laughed and walked out. Total bait and switch. Never going there again.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the pizzas on the menu honestly. The dough is so soft and flavorful and they have the best topping selection. I really thought the bacon and jam pizza was such an amazing flavor! It was sweet yet savory and I would say that was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! I also didn't realize they have a speakeasy inside. From the road you would never believe it exists besides the pizza shop. It's called the apothecary and they have a huge assortment of crafted cocktails! I tried the New Pal which was a citrusy take on an old fashioned and I thought it was really well done! It was also strongggg. I can't wait to come back and show other people this spot. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Fort Lauderdale along Himmarshee.

Although this place looked great, but between crying kids, and a couple poorly done menu items, they lost a lot of points on execution... Our server Tomas was great! Best part of the whole experience. When we got to see him, which wasn't often, because they were short staffed or something as he was also tending bar (where he excelled), and running to take care of everyone, all while being berated loudly by an older gentleman we had to assume was the boss. The food was where they could have made up for that, but sadly, it was all over the place. - Calamari were crispy yet tender, and perfectly seasoned breading, but the accompanying sauce was too spicy for almost everyone in our party. - Meatballs were decent sized, and though they presented beautifully they were dry and overly dense, with their sauce on the opposite end of the spectrum with almost no flavor, and sadly that matched the flavorless meat as well. - Pizzas were the star, creative and delicious though, with just the right amount of toppings but just too much char on the crust. Tomas really shone as a bartender/ mixologist though, coming up with imaginative cocktails on the fly based on our favored liquors. The ambiance is cool, and there is a really decent speakeasy vibe going on with the decor but maybe try it at night to see if that vibe comes through under cover of darkness, cuz today wasn't it.
