This is what's inside the drink. Baftalo Trace Bourbon, Amaro Nonino, aperos, iemon, homemade blackberry ammpie Foam. For food we had the burrata and also the Brussels spouts. Amazing!!! Must try. I love going to the downtown Miami location, but this time I visited the Fort Lauderdale location after a day of meetings and waiting for traffic to die down. Parking was easy--I found a spot right on the street and was able to pay by phone, which was very convenient. This location felt especially welcoming with all of the plants and greenery throughout the space. The open-air layout created a relaxed atmosphere, and I really enjoyed the ambiance. I sat at the bar, where the bartender was sweet, attentive, and provided great service. I ordered my favorite rosé along with the 3-choice charcuterie board, and everything was delicious as usual. Considering it was a Friday, I was surprised that it wasn't too busy when I arrived around 4 PM, which made for an even more enjoyable experience. I honestly came here not expecting much than a regular American style brunch. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the which was the perfect sweet to alcohol ratio especially on a hot day. The frozen espresso martini was also delightful. The appetizers were actually delicious. I got the truffle fries I loved it! The sauce cause be a bit more flavorful in my opinion. Made a reservation week of - originally chose the mezzanine on the reservation but decided last minute that I wanted to be seated outside. They accommodated my party no issues which I appreciated. Started the night with a Hugo spritz (not on the menu but still made it for us since they are a full service bar) and a frozen espresso martini ($15). Our appetizer was a wood fired spicy sausage pizza ($19) which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was the perfect size for an appetizer. Our main entree to share was the steak frites. By the time we put in our order, the streak frites was sold out so we received a filet mignon. We didn't know that we had received the filet though so the smaller size steak threw us off a bit. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant feels stylish, smells incredible, and creates such a great atmosphere. I was in Ft. Lauderdale on a trip with friends and we were meeting up with a local friend who lives in the area. He recommended we meet here for us all to enjoy dinner together. There were 5 of us total and this was the perfect spot for our group to chat and enjoy! Our friend had made reservations for our table about a week prior so there was no waiting time once we arrived. It was Friday around 6:30pm in March so a little busy still with spring breakers. I noticed a few groups waiting for tables but it didn't look too crowded. It is a bright organic/earthy clean feeling restaurant. It seems very open and airy. They also had an incredible candle burning, I believe it is their signature scent, rosemary. It smelled amazing. You can purchase the candle for $26 or so. We were seated at a large high top table next to the bar that could seat six. Nicely spaced from the bar so it feels roomy, and comfy chairs! The bar is neat and never felt too busy or loud. It has a fun display of the wine labels and names on the wall above the pour taps. Their wine list is awesome as you can imagine with a name like Sixty Vines For some reason I chose to have a Negroni as it is something I order at most places. Though I will say, in this case, it may have been the wrong choice. It was okay, I was not impressed at all. However knowing that it is a wine-focused restaurant I should have chosen one of those from the start. My friend let me try one of the wines he chose and it was sooo good! Also, very unique! It was the Stolpman Love You Bunches - an orange wine! How fun and yummy!! We all tried the bacon wrapped dates. I thought they were so cute! The texture surprised me; even though I knew it was going to be a date I guess I was thinking the bacon would make it seem more crunchy, but no not crunchy which just made it an exciting surprise of flavors. Our friends ordered the Burrata. It is massive! So be sure to share this one!! We also got to try the Wood Grilled Shrimp, they were cooked just right and set on a bed of roasted corn, tomatoes and delicious sauce!! Great combo! I had to order the Cowgirl Creamery, Mt. Tam cheese because I used to live in Stinson Beach which is close to the creamery where it's made. The board came with a nice sized wedge of Mt. Tam cheese to share as well as some almonds, honeycomb and pita slices. The cheese was just as I love, so so creamy with a nice bloomy rind with mushroomy flavor! The honeycomb pairs so well with it. Heaven. For my main I chose Wood Grilled Bavette Steak. I order steaks rare, and It was cooked perfectly!!!! Came with mushrooms, potatoes and a foie gras-zinfandel demi. Personally I'd love to have the actual foie gras but it was still delicious!!! Potatoes, alright. I'm from Minnesota we eat a lot of potatoes I would have loved some fresh veggies instead. During my main course I tried a Grenache-Syrah wine called Painted Scars by Dave Phinney. It was a great pairing to my steak, and was suggested by our server. Kudos to him! It has a nice peppery taste you get with some syrahs and it wasn't too heavy, it had a nice light feel to it. Very good! One of my friends ordered the Filet Mignon which she was very happy with and finished the entire thing! Except for a little bit of her vegetables Ate the best thing first, didn't have room for the rest. Our other friend had the Atlantic Salmon and also was extremely happy with how well it was cooked and the combination of flavors. If I lived nearby I would visit this place again. Great addition to the Las Olas restaurant line up. I was not able to attend the Yelp Elite event held here last year, but I heard and read only good comments about this place and it did not disappoint in this visit. The decor is nice and fresh with lots of greenery and rustic tiles all around the dining and bar area. There is also an area that can be closed up and reserved for private events in the main dining room, and there is a mezzanine level. The service we received today was excellent, starting with the hostess desk, our waiter (Jason) and restaurant manager Cindra. One of the differentiators in this restaurant is the large selection of wines from tap. Similar to a brewery, they have the names of each wine written behind the corresponding tap. Wine from tap does not sound appealing at first, but apparently is a system that allows the wine to stay in good condition for a good amount of time. I tried a red blend called Flycatcher from Frog's Leap and it was excellent. Finally, their menu is not too extensive, but everything we tried was delicious. I particular liked the trout entree with coconut curry, lime cilantro sauce and lentils. They also have a good selection of Gluten-free menu items, including cauliflower crust for their GF pizzas. Although I've been here before for a Yelp event, the experience this time was not pleasant. They were practically empty when I was there. I ordered a cocktail to start and my friend ordered a glass of wine. The server returned twice to inquire about the cocktail that I wanted, a Hugo Spritz. Then the bartender came and asked me to explain the drink that I wanted. For me this is a red gulag that my drink will not be made well as they don't know how to make it. So I opted instead for a French 75. The bartender had an attitude as to why I was changing my drink choice. I made it clear that if I have to explain how to the drink, then I have a right to change my mind on them preparing it. Lo and behold, the French 75 was terrible. It came out in a wine glass and it was sour. I didn't end up drinking it. They asked if I wanted something else and the answer was no. Not a pleasant experience, especially with staff who give off a negative attitude due to their inexperience. I don't have a desire to return here. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel it needs to be shared. My boyfriend and I had previously stopped into Sixty Vines spontaneously for brunch and had a great experience, so we suggested it to our friends for a couples' date night. Unfortunately, our second visit could not have been more different. We waited about 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Once at the table, we chose a wine to share in a carafe and were told they were out of it. No big deal--we chose another and ordered appetizers and entrées. The appetizers were good, and before our entrées arrived, we ordered another carafe. I ordered my steak medium-plus. When it came out, it was severely undercooked--the center was literally purplish blue. Thankfully, the chef had delivered it himself, so I cut into it while he was still there and asked for it to be cooked further. Around the same time, our waiter returned with our wine carafe, except the keg had apparently tapped before they could fill it. Instead of asking what we wanted to do, we were brought an almost-full carafe of the wine we ordered plus a separate glass of a DIFFERENT wine to make up the remaining ounces. For a restaurant centered around wine, having multiple wines unavailable during one dinner and substituting another wine to complete a carafe was unprofessional. But the steak was the real issue!!!!!!! The chef brought it back out, and visually it appeared to be cooked correctly. I took one bite and immediately had to spit it into my napkin at the table. I genuinely cannot think of a more polite way to describe the taste: **it tasted like feces/rotten meat.** I was so shocked that I asked my friend to taste it because I wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining it. She immediately spit hers out as well. When we told our waiter, I specifically asked him to have the chef taste it because I did not want to make such a serious complaint without it being verified. He returned and told us that **the chef had also tasted the steak, had to spit it out, and confirmed it was a bad piece of meat.** That is extremely concerning. At that point, I told the waiter they needed to make sure the remaining meat was checked because I would hate for another guest to be served something from the same batch. Needless to say, after having rotten meat in my mouth, I had completely lost my appetite. I was told to choose another entrée and reluctantly ordered a pizza. What made the experience even more disappointing was how it was handled afterward. When the bill came, the bad steak was removed--which I would consider the bare minimum--and my $18 replacement pizza was comped. That was the extent of the resolution on a dinner where our table had ordered multiple appetizers, four entrées, and multiple carafes of wine. I understand that restaurants can have an off night, a wine can run out, and a steak can accidentally be undercooked. But serving meat so bad that **two guests AND the chef himself had to spit it out** is an entirely different level of food-quality issue. After something that serious, I expected management to acknowledge what happened and handle the situation with considerably more care. We went to Sixty Vines because our first experience had been so enjoyable that we recommended it to our friends. Instead, our date night became one of the most disgusting dining experiences I have ever had. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

For starters we shared a Burrata and Santa Fe tri-tips. Both were good. I felt like the steak could've had more seasoning. For mains, my son and I shared the rainbow trout and braised pork pappardelle. Husband enjoyed his pan roasted chicken. Service was a little hectic. This was our first time visiting Sixty Vines. We had originally reserved outdoor seating, but since it was extremely hot, the manager, Essence, kindly accommodated us with an indoor table. She was welcoming and attentive, which we truly appreciated. Our server James was pleasant and kind, and the food we ordered to share was very good. Unfortunately, the service overall was disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive a second round of drinks, and because of the delay we decided not to order the pizza we had planned on trying. When we mentioned this to James, we expressed that such a long wait for drinks was unacceptable. Essence returned to our table, listened to our concerns, and graciously comped our last round, which was a thoughtful gesture. We also suggested that additional servers and bartenders might help improve the experience for future guests. While the atmosphere and food were enjoyable, the slow service overshadowed our visit. I was one of two tables outside and didn't order drinks at first which may be why our waitress never came back. The restaurant was cute, it is a 2 story place with plenty of seating and a full bar. There is a classy yet warm ambiance and definitely a diverse group here. The service was sufficient. Not over great but I have to give some leeway since we did have a very large party so this may have impacted the experience. As the server seemed to struggle a bit (we had about 20 in our party and as inky assigned one server). The house salad was amazing it was very fresh and delicious, the tequila fix was absolutely delicious, I could drink them all night. The steam was dry and somewhat bland with very little seasoning or flavor it was really disappointing. The truffle fried were tasty but not something I'd order again. The Rigatoni was so over cooked the noodles were mush and tomato sauce was so acidic it was inedible. Overall I would visit there again but maybe just for drinks at the bar. read more
