Owner is a hard working dad who was holding the kitchen down solo on a busy Friday night - still got my order ready quicker than Grubhub anticipated and the pizza exceeded my expectations! Sicilian is made completely fresh unlike a majority of places so it does take longer. The delivery time on busy nights are an hour or so which is still shorter than dominos or pizza hut. This place is great its family owned and has been around for a bit of time. Great service and anyone who says that the drivers, owner, or any other employee was rude is 100% wrong. All employees including the owner are very respectful UNTIL you threaten to throw food in their face, threaten to kick their ass, etc. Most people who complain that the place is unprofessional just want free shit and didn't get it. read more

I just wanted a quick slice of pizza. I saw this spot in the corner of this strip mall. It looked a tad dated outside and definitely the same inside. The guy behind the counter seemed cool. He was the order taker, the cashier, the cook. His shirt was dirty from cooking. He stated he had a fresh pie coming out of the oven in 6 minutes. I asked how much was each slice. He informed me 2 slices for $5 plus pop which sound good. Though he was friendly and talked about current events and his sick daughter, I could not notice the place needs a throughout clean. It was dusty, mirrors needed cleaning. He needed an apron while cooking plus gloves. I still are the pizza which was rather tasty. This spot is the epitome of "hole in the wall." There were others that keep coming. Even 2 women went behind the counter, presumably family. They needed to be wiping off stuff, refilling condiments but they just sat there talking??? Odd spot but most hole in the walls are. read more

I love this little joint. I can call in an order for a sandwich and by the time I drive there (2 minutes away) my food is ready. The owners are always working and they accommodate that I'm always running late and need food fast. The pie is excellent and always consistent, even when they're very busy. read more

I have been ordering from them for about 20 years...wow Im getting old...The pizza is very good..I really like the sausage he uses for sausage and peppers and I enjoy the chicken club..everything always arrives hot and it is reasonably proced...It is a family owned place and the whole family works here..I respect that...considering I have been ordering for as long as i have...there have of course been the occasional issue...nothing major - usually when the owner wasn't there and employees dont always do the best job...I can say that when I have told the owner about a problem he has always made it right.... if your in the area ..they serve solid food at decent prices. read more

I wouldn't give it one star - NO STARS!! My pizza delivery was 30 minutes late (50 minutes delivery time + 30 minutes late). When I asked the delivery driver what took him so long his response to me was that I ordered the pizza 20 minutes ago. I showed him my call log from my phone and he argued with me that it takes longer than one minute to place an order and said he didn't believe me. I told the driver that I did not want the pizza and he could take it back to the restaurant. I also stated that I was gong to call back the restaurant and share my experience. The drivers response was that is my step dad and if I want his personal number then I can have it. When I called the restaurant to share my experience, the man said he will take care of it with and "I'm sorry". Overall, a very bad experience from the 50 minute wait time for delivery to the unprofessional customer service. Didn't get a chance to eat the pizza! read more

I live right down the block from this joint, actually 2 minutes away, I made a delivery call for a 14" White Pizza & 2 liter Pepsi during half time, 7:30 PM. On the menu it read the Pizza is $14 and soda $2.50 = $16.50 plus tax. Fine, Gave my credit card info, said will be there in 30-40 minutes. 8:30 I called for my order, said it was on it's way. 9:05 my pizza arrives, it is pitch black out as she pulls up to my driveway. I asked if she got lost & that I was close to the pizza shop. I asked if the pie was hot...she said it came right out the oven. I asked why so long, she said dhe had a 10 pie delivery before mine. Now, to dark to see what I'm signing with pie in hand and she shoves pen at me with a bottle of Pepsi. I sign and head back, I get back to my game and open the pie, look at it and saw it was dry, cold and old, a microwave wouldn't bring it back to life. The pie was disgusting, I threw it in the garbage. I get a knock on my door next morning & it was my neighbor handing me my pizza receipt with all my credit card information on it, security code # , and my phone # I get a ping on my phone, it was my bank statement saying I was charged $26.69. from Sassano's Pizza. I call them back and tell him what happened. He says it's my bank call them, I tell him the pizza was dry & cold, he says too bad. I go to his store to show him my cc statement and he still says it my bank that overcharged the 7+ dollars. He asked me to leave and called me a name, of which I said never again. This is a nickle & dime rip-off joint, his pizza sucks. Also before my pizza indecent, I bought White Clams & spaghetti, he told someone to go next door to the spanish shop to get clam sauce, he came back with 2 cans $.99 each. That too was disgusting. We ordered for our FIRST TIME on super bowl Sunday 60.00 worth of food not including the tip; Pizza really bad to the point of throwing away, wings terrible dried out like they were a week old, steak & cheese hoagie just sub par at best, a combo meal what a MESS. So I call the place on Monday after the part, the owner answers; says oh well maybe they were BUSY, OMG YOU THINK!! IT'S SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, SO MAYBE YOU COULD SEND OUT YOUR BEST FOOD INSTEAD OF YOUR WORST. I wish there was a 0 star option as well. Food was okay but when the delivery lady came to the door I requested to see the order prior to me filling out the receipt - I saw that the order was correct and tipped the individual 4 dollars. After I asked for a copy of the receipt as I do like to make sure all of my finances are correct when I charge on my credit card and the delivery lady did not have it. She kept insisting that I had the receipt and must have dropped it, I looked around and did not see the receipt and I asked her if she maybe accidentally dropped it on the way up to my apartment and she decided to give me attitude about her not doing anything incorrect. I asked her to see the receipt I signed instead and decided to deduct the tip and just pay for the food as she had a horrible attitude. I wished her a good night and closed the door and once she realized that I took away the tip she kicked my door and started cursing horribly in the hallway to a point my neighbor asked if everything was okay and if they should call the cops. I did call the restaurant and they said they would take care of the issue and apologized for the mishap but it turns out that the delivery lady is the owner's wife... says a lot about the company.
